Hiding her disappointment at her kick's failure to do more than produce a grunt, Bixbyite rolled and quickly got back to her feet, though she crouched low, watching the senshi warily. Resting a hand on the ground as she studied her opponent, the petite lieutenant was becoming too focused on watching the senshi.
So focused in fact, that she was watching the senshi's hands and face rather than the sneaky little energy ribbon that was sneaking up over her fingers.

Up over her fingers and soon enough around her wrist. By the time the Lieutenant noticed, it had already wrapped itself firmly against her slim wrist. It felt warm to the touch.
With a grin, the senshi uttered out one thing. "Got'cha!" With that, the senshi rather suddenly pulled the ribbon that was in her hand in an effort to set the kid off balance. In fact, the jerking motion actually was in the direction where the guardian cat was sitting.
Seeing the potential problem with this, the cat bounded out of the way to the opposite side and hopefully a decent distance away from the Lieutenant.
"Oh... sorry 'bout that, cat." Iris wasn't really sorry. Her tone made that obvious.

"Oh how cute," Bixbyite murmured when she noticed the warmth threading around her wrist. She was already moving to grip the ribbon when the senshi grinned and yanked on her end of the ribbon attack. And had that move been tried on anyone else, they might have been pulled badly off balance. But years of dance training and teaching herself to recover quickly kept Bixbyite from getting too badly rattled.
Instead, she rolled with the ribbon, grabbing up the slack in her own hands. Ignoring the increasing warmth around her wrist and on her palms, she rolled to her feet and shook her head dazedly. This was just getting ridiculous. I'm tired of this, she thought. Now if the senshi would only release her attack, Bixbyite had every intention of jumping out of there like a flea of crystal meth. She was tired of fighting. She was annoyed at being attack when she'd had every intention of leaving that stupid little cat alone. And most of all, she knew that for all of the pretty rainbows, she was out of her league with this senshi. Maybe if she was stronger she'd be willing to keep brawling. But she wasn't. Bixbyite just wanted to go home.
So, Bixbyite kept on guard and watched for the tiniest chance of getting away to pop up.

Though the senshi didn't seem to notice the Lieutenant's ability to recover from the fall rather gracefully, the cat did. In fact, a furry brow rose. This girl obviously had rather good balance. She probably trained in some form or fashion to gain such skills. There were various activities young girls could participate in to improve their sense of balance.
This Lieutenant had brains and some competent skills. This girl had potential to become a great threat if she trained herself further in other areas, such as combat.
It was at that time, when the cat was thinking so intently that something echoed across the whole alleyway. A sneeze. A very loud sneeze. There was nothing dainty about this sneeze.
So it was obvious who the guilty party was.
"Ungh!" Without even thinking about it, the senshi lifted up the hand that had been holding onto the rainbow. All she had done was shifted her grip a bit and rubbed her nose, and rather suddenly the rainbow had vanished.
"Oops!" Trying to recover quickly, she rubbed her glove across her face to get rid of the snot, then tightened her hand into a fist again to try and form yet another ribbon.

And there was the moment she'd waited for. Though perhaps, it hadn't come in quite the manner she'd expected it. Leaping to her feet, Bixbyite tipped the senshi a wink, blew her a kiss and darted across the pavement before jumping into the air to get to the rooftops. It was time for her to get away from here and consider whether or not she should report the cat. It would take some deep thinking on that part.
But before she moved entirely out of earshot, she couldn't help calling out, "Blesshya!" in a sing-songy voice, just to annoy the senshi. And then she was off across the rooftops and gone.
The senshi she would definitely report, she'd decided.

The senshi's rainbow soon enough emerged again, and began to give chase to the Lieutenant with the call of "Iris Rainbow RIBBON!" It came hurtling behind the Negaverse opponent and almost touched her shoe, but came short.
"Damn!"
Certainly, the Eternal senshi could have given chase upon the rooftops, but even with all the work she'd been doing to try and get over her fear of falling, she still wasn't going to do something like that. Her wings didn't do anything other than get in the way.
The yellow suited senshi's response the mocking last words of the opponent were greeted with one loud "F*CK!!!" which echoed against the alley's walls.
The cat didn't say a word. Instead, she cautiously approached the tall girl. No words, but soon enough there was a cat rubbing up against the white boots.
"Don't say it, Cat..."
"I wasn't planning on saying a word..."
"...Jus' don't say it..." With a sigh, the senshi beat her fist against the wall. She wouldn't be that careless next time.
