She looked at him, and finished what she was chewing. "Uh, Im rank 4 out of 10. Why?" She asked with curiosity. What a common question though.

he shrugs some "just wondering" he finishes up his food taking his time with his hot tea.

She nodded, and continued eating. She ordered something small. She still was trying to eat small so she wouldnt become fat and be bad at running, like last year. Slow running ended up in a tiny scar at the back of her head.

He finished his drink and got up slowly bringing the dishes to the server giving a small smile heading out. once he got out he took a deep breath his hands shaking. he had seen atleast three people in there that looked like they where benders and she seemed strong enough that they could kill him. he unhooks his ride and smothes out the blanket he had been riding on. "you need food dont you" he sighs leading his ride to a store near by that he could buy some food for the road.

Max finished up slowly. 'Well goodbye to you too.' She thought. She got up, about two minutes later and put her dish away. She went outside, and unhooked her Ostrage she called Lucy. "Time to find Julie." She said to Lucy, and hopped on. She began riding off.

just as she passed the man from earlier his ostrage pulled hard causing Chao tried to grab the rains but missed and his ride backed right into Max and her ride. "I am sorry.." he sighs trying to catch his ride.

She giggled, and rode next to his Ostrage and grabbed the rains. She made it stop, "Be careful next time. And its okay." She said, giving him Chao the rains.

he took the rains his hand brushing hers "thank you.." he sighs pulling the bird back towards the shop so he could pay the man for the food he was buying. it was enough for at least a week for once person.

"Your welcome." She called, grabbing her rains with both hand. She started to ride and she finally saw Julie walking in the street. "Julie!" She called and rode to her.

He piled the food into the side bags and lead his animal off down the road not going to ride yet. it felt good for him to walk some since riding had heart his rump. he passes the girl and the person she had been looking for, he glanced one last time at her then headed off towards the woods. he was going to be camping nearby since it was getting dark and he didnt think he would get too far. he would walk as far as he could and then set up a small camp.

"We have to go back to the base. We have to stand guard tomorrow for the morning till sun down. A spy had returned saying Fire Nation are near, and we need to be prepared!" She said, holding a hand to her friend letting her get on. She quickly turned around, seeing the man she saw earlier. He seemed suspicious to her. She started to ride of to camp with her friend.

he walked as far as he could and found a small spot off the trail that was hidden. he gathered wood after tieing his ride up and started a fire (by breathing onto the flint to light it) after it was lit he cleaned a spot to sit and relaxed sighing. he wondered why the girl was in that town. he figured he would make sure he was gone far from that town the next day.

She arrived at the base exactly at 9. That was the time the soldiers had to go to bed, so she did as she was supposed to. She woke up in the middle of the night, having a dream of the man she saw earlier that day, and shook it off, and went back to bed.

He fell asleep curled up near the fire. his dreams where varried and she seemed to keep popping up. he slept close to the fire the warmth being reflected by a blanket he had pinned up behind him and under him. (maybe he gets picked up by other soldiers?)

(Yah, that sounds good. I gotta get going soon..)
Max woke up from the sound of tumpets. Everyone quickly got up, got changed, and stood in line. There, the checked everyone, and they headed out to breakfast before standing guard.
