Malodore nodded at Nukpana - a little warily, given the skinwalker's behavior the night before, but so far so good. "Grazie for the candy yesterday," it said, inclining its head politely. "I am sure it will be of use."
Familiar footsteps sounded on the bridge behind them, and Malodore turned to see Jericho and Riley. It seemed more students were filtering past now, some looking a bit the worse for wear, but nobody seemed so badly injured that Malodore felt the need to intervene and offer its assistance. "Buon giorno," it called in Jericho and Riley's direction, lifting one hand in a small wave.

((Ickis hurr!))
"No problem dude," Nukpana replied easily, completely unaware of the Plague doctor's wariness of him. It was possible he was just used to it. "I figure it's probably only going to get worse from here... better be prepared. Or maybe I'm just tryin to get the JOYful things to head in your direction." That was an outright lie, clear from the look in his eyes -- truth be told, he was kind of itching for a fight. He just couldn't help tease.
Nuk heard the sound of a few loud crunches in the snow behind him, pausing as he stepped onto the snow on the other side to turn around, seeing Jericho and Riley land (somewhat bumpily) close by. As per usual, the skinwalker smirked a little at the scene, leaning against one of the wooden pillars holding the rope-bridge in place to wait for the others to catch up a bit. With Riley and Jericho, that made four of their seven -- it seemed they were still waiting on Shehk (whom he assumed had scampered off in her canine form,) Israfel and Lucien. He wasn't too worried, sure they were close behind.
Lifting his normal hand, the skinwalker gave a short, hailing wave towards Riley and Jericho, just to show them where he and Malodore were.
"Looks like you lost your mount, Tentacles!" He called in a teasing voice, grinning between the dragon and mindflayer, "Probably for the best, you might break the bridge if you tried to get across before, Jericho!"

Riley took Jericho's helping hand, pulling herself to her feet. I don't hold you at fault. This place is making a mess of us all. She patted his back with her free hand, and let him go.
It was time to survey her surroundings, and she did so skeptically. Though her eyes found the sight of Nukpana and Malodore a welcome and familiar sight, it was the area they all found themselves in that she was most interested in. She walked up towards the two, absentmindedly rubbing her rear with one hand - falling that hard hurts, okay? - and returned Malodore's wave when she passed between the two. She sent out a quick hiss of My -name- is Riley to correct Nukpana, before continuing past them. A few steps and she was up front, taking it all in. An island, hmm. Her pointed ears perked up when she heard a distant roar.
This could be interesting. She secretly hoped there would be no further tree molestations, however.
She turned around, looking all business as she calculated in her head.
Who else is here with us? She asked Nuk and Malodore, looking from one to another. Her eyes briefly moved between them to the bridge, and further distance - she was pretty sure Israfel had been right behind them, but she knew he felt terrible. She only hoped he didn't lag behind too far.. it was a dangerous place, this JOY filled nightmare.

Waving back to Mal and Nuk, Jericho went on to join them while giving the skinwalker somewhat of an irritated grin.
"Yeah, yeah... I could have just flown across though," he replied. And he still could, but he wasn't too certain if he wanted to since he'd end up getting way ahead of everyone else that way. That and he wasn't too certain how he would handle shifting in mid-flight if his body decided it wanted to go dragon all of the sudden.
"It looks like there's t-two others with us," he observed, spotting two unknown students at the other end of the bridge. Now that he wasn't running anymore, his body was starting to cool down. Unhappily, he rubbed his arms, trying to generate a little more heat.

Sepheran couldn't help but chuckle lightly in response. Indeed he knew family naming traditions, he was glad his parents had decided something easy for himself compared to that of his siblings which were quite the tongue twisters. "What can you do?" Sepheran shrugged lightly in a playful response. "Well then Myr, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, and on somewhat good terms so far...we're both still alive at least," he added.
Hearing his question about Liannan being a familiar he nodded softly, "Well I guess you can call her that, though to me she means much more. She helps me move about so I don't fall over stuff all the time, at least until I better learn how to take in the information my senses give me, don't got much as far as eyesight goes I'm afraid," Sepheran stated. "But don't be looking down on me because of that! I'm plenty capable of putting up a good fight even without using my eyes. Basilisk's are tough creatures by nature after all," he grinned.

Meng Xiang had stumbled along after Laiha, keeping close to the monster girl. When he had finally emerged, he had found that there was no more forest, but now they were all in a strange new part of Christmas Town. An eerie island now that gave him a really bad feeling... luckily, he noticed that most of the Oblina people had decided to take this path! Oh, how relieved he was! He quickly found Sepheran and Myr and caught up to them, "You guys!" Xi called as he quickly fell into step with the two of them, "I'm so glad to see you two are okay... is anyone else here besides you two and Laiha?"

Malodore doffed its hat in Nukpana's direction, then put it back on with a small open-beaked grin. "I believe the appropriate phrase is 'bring it on'?" It was quite a bit less concerned about toys than trees. Misfit toys were practically Halloween already, weren't they?
"Israfel and Lucien are close, I believe - they should be well." Malodore added, glancing at Riley. "Was Israfel... ah... more coherent this morning?" It devoutly hoped so. It wasn't sure it was ready for yet another day of Siren Management 101.
It peered over the edge of the bridge at the icy water below. "At least there aren't any trees here." Or any visible alcohol.

As if summoned by the call of his name, Israfel appeared, panting and gasping for breath. "You...guys..." He groaned. Oh great. A bridge. This wouldn't end well for him. "Oh god I'm going to get sick aren't I?"

Still alive. That was kind of amusing, but Sepheran had a point. Neither of them had been seriously wounded yet. None of their car had been really.
Myr shrugged. "There are other ways to see." He wasn't about to suggest that the Basilisk boil wasn't strong, not when he was likely stronger than himself.
"Hey," he greeted the ones who had caught up to the two of them. "Haven't seen anyone else from our train yet. I'm sure they're on their way but they haven't shown up yet.

Nuk barked out another laugh at Malodore's 'bring it on,' smirking at the slang term coming from such a proper creature. Man, they really were growing on him, their little group, especially when they kept going above and beyond his expectations. The Plague Doctor had seemed so... clinical, which wasn't a bad thing, but it pleased him to see that little feisty side of it.
Then again, it had tried to mate with the tentacle girl... maybe there was more to it than met the eye~
"Alright, alright, Riley," he replied with mock-exasperation, giving her a fake-scowl. Rolling his eyes teasingly at Riley's response, he watched as the two approached, waiting until they were all together before picking up the bazooka again, getting ready to head out. As they were talking, he could see the blueish purple form of Israfel running to catch up, nodding in his direction.
"There's the dodo. Shehk's coming as well, I'm sure she'll show up soon... anyone seen Lucien?"
Looking around them, he wondered if the air elemental had somehow managed to slip by them, or whether he and Shehk were off together. This thought made him pause, more because of the turn of phrase than anything, furrowing his eyebrows a bit. Lucien and Shehk? No, he could never see that, not even if he'd meant it that way.
So with Israfel, that made Malodore, Riley, Israfel, himself and Jericho. Nuk's eyes traveled around the group as he thought of their names, finally coming to settle on the shivering form who was rubbing his arms, tilting his head a bit curiously. "Still cold?" he questioned the dragon, quirking an eyebrow, surprisingly very little to no judgement in his voice, "I'd offer you my arm, but I don't do dudes."

Sepheran twisted his head in Xi's direction, "Wait...you mean nobody from our car is in front of us? And I thought you were with them Xi...when did I pass you guys? I swore I was lagging behind you in the forest..." Sepheran stated clearly confused on how people where starting to "catch up" to him. It worried him greatly. "You guys didn't run into any trouble did you?" Sepheran questioned lightly wondering if that was the cause of all this.

Finally she was out of that forest! Where was Sin? Junko already saw so many people, most of whom she either knew or recognized, but no sign of Sin. Malodore, Riley, Nuk...were they all together? That was good, she was glad to see people she knew were safe and sound. But there was still no sign of Sin. The ghoul held her wreath tightly in both hands, looking back to make sure she hadn't lost Quarria or Alcie. She should have waited for them, she didn't want to be here alone. "This place is strange...it's...so quie--wh-what was that?" Home? No. They weren't home. Home was darker, home was not littered with snow and filled with JOY. This place was not home, but that roar didn't seem very...joyful.

Xi nodded at him, "I have no clue who's in front of us. It's all a blur to me. I just remember a lot of running and shouting. Yeah, I was ahead of you at first... but then I got attacked by that tree. I was able to flee from it though, but everyone was already ahead of me by then." Xi wasn't exactly sure if there was anybody else in front of them, he had only seen Sepheran and Myr so far. Laiha had stuck with him the entire time. "No, we didn't run into any trouble. I was in trouble with the tree for awhile, but I ducked past it. Is Tybalt, Natalia, or Haku here?" they were the people Xi worried about most, though he cared about all of the people in Oblina very dearly.

((OBLINA FTW! )) Astra saw the bridge below her, but took to the air this time, finding that flying would be a much faster choice. However...it was still hella cold. She could feel icicles forming on her wings! She could see below her a number of students, including the ones from her train! but there were more of them this time as well.

Nefertari finally made it out of those acursed woods. She was glad but still uneasy about the so called island. Misfit toys? Were they violent and terrible? Didn't sound misfit to me. She wondered what kind of toys were created in a place like this. The JOY was scary enough, she didn't even want to imagine what they had in mind for children's toys.
She thought of her own toys. The Scarehouse Pyramid with secret doors and real traps that go off! Mike the Mummy with curse-fu grip. And of course her favorite Sahara Box. All these had been her childhood favorites. Her brothers prefered their Anubis Army of the Undead figures and Horus Hawk Planes.
She looked up and saw a few others from the Oblina car; Xi, the snake boy, and the lemur girl. Well at least they had made it out. She gave a friendly wave.
