"So how do you get the middle of your back?" He turned his head as he thought of a way Nanashi could without hurting his wings. At that moment a brave little mouse made its way towards the water. Bruiser's eyes light and he jumps at the mouse, paws curved so not to hurt the creature. "Have you ever looked at one of these guys?"

"Um....Generally I don't....i just wait to see if.....it goes away...." he shrugged his shoulders then looked over at the male who was currently chasing a mouse. "Have i ever looked at a mouse?" He chuckled, "Up close...not really....but if I get desperate enough...I have eaten them." He smiled. This was the most interesting fox he had ever met before.

Still holding the mouse, he turned towards the phim, "Have you ever spread your wings open and stood on your back legs, rubbing against a tree? You know almost like those giant fur things with small ears." His eyes closed as he thought of the name for the creature, his tail thumped against his head.."Bear! That is the name of them."
The mouse tickled the bottom of his paws and Bruiser started to giggle. "Mice are a fun snack, but they are interesting in the way they are made. Those little whiskers are always moving," moving his paws some. "Look for yourself, then maybe we can get something to eat."

Nanashi chuckled as he walked over to the other male and looked down at the mouse that he had trapped. "You like their whiskers then?" He leaned down further until he could see them twitching uncontrollably. "I can see what you mean....It is kinda amusing."
He smiled and pulled back, "Right.....getting something to eat sounds like a good idea..." He looked up at the sky. "I can take to the skies and go scout the ares. There is a family of deer that migrate here around this time of year." He smiled, "Deer is my favorite thing to hunt....Besides cats...mountain lions and the like...So difficult to capture, but the reward is all the sweeter." Nanashi chuckled.

His mouth watered at the thought of deer. "How far away would you judge this herd?" He didn't want to go rushing into them and lose the meal. Releasing the mouse, Bruiser looked at Nanashi's wing curiously.
"It wont pain you so much with that injury?" He was asking to be polite. The starry male wouldn't make anyone deal with pain just for the sake of food, unless it was food.

"I heal fast..." He smirked at the little fox, "you told have to worry about me." He spread out his wings and tested them on flapping. it didn't cause much pain. As long as he didn't fly for a lengthy time he should be fine.
"The herd is about a mile up ahead..." He nodded with his head, "If you can track them on foot....I'll go above them and have a few of the scatter...that way it will be easier to pick off the weaker males." Nanashi smirked, "It shouldn't be too hard as long as I land within ten minutes or so."

The starry male nodded. "If you say so, my feathered friend." Bruiser was a little nervous about tracking a herd. It wasn't like he never had before, just the results were not always good.
He smiled up at the phim. "I will do my best." His body quivered as the thought of fresh food entered his mind, he could almost taste it. Mouth open wide as he drooled at the thought, he barely caught the last of Nanashi's words. "Right, about ten minutes." Facing the direction of the herd, Bruiser started heading that way.

Smiling, Nanashi took a running start and lifted himself into the air. It twinged a bit but it wasn't that bad. He knew then that his wing would heal within a couple of days as long as he didn't stress it too long. Which mean that this was going to have to be a short flight. Sinking down lower he tried to scatter the herd toward the direction that Bruiser was heading in from.

Bruiser made his way as quickly as possible and spotted a few of the herd heading his way. There was one buck that looked like it's front leg was injured during the scatter. He tracked that buck as the rest ran left and right.
He dropped his body as the buck came close. Even though the buck was injured, Bruiser knew he had one chance to take it down without injuring himself. A jump with jaws open, he caught the bucks neck in his mouth and pulled down with all his weight.
