Xi turned to Haku who had caught up with them, "It certainly has. I was just telling Laiha the same thing." Xi giggled and greeted Haku with a soft smile. "I'm Meng Xiang, It's alright to call me Xi though, I don't mind. I saw you on the train earlier, but you were busy, so I thought not to interrupt. I really wanted to talk to you though, you seemed intriguing. " Xi flushed a bit, nodding at the Inugami boy. He wondered if the boy would like to join their little group also, seeing as how they were already together. Besides, the more the merrier or so they say.

Haku gave the boil a brow quirk at his giggling and flushing and - what was Xi, a girl in disguise? Oh well, better excitable than irritable he supposed. "Er, not so much busy as . . . taking things in one at a time. There was always somethign happening on that train, no? But I am Haku; a pleasure to meet you, Meng Xiang. To you as well, Natalia and Laiha," he added while bowing a little to the trio, very sure at this point that he hit his head something awful to be casual about the girl that looked ready to eat her fellow students on the train.
Then again, this was no time to be looking down on anyone. He was armed with a Jacking bell. Who knew what laid out here?
An ear turned at a familiar voice, and he turned his head to look over his shoulder. "Over here!" he called back to Nefertari, jingling the bell a little in his pocket. Oddly, he felt slightly invigorated after doing so, though it might have been his imagination.

Nefertari's cat ear turned in the direction of Haku's voice. He had appeared next to the other group. She smiled and walked over, nodding to the others present. "Hi, I'm Nefertari. You guys ready for a merry jaunt through the woods to grandmother's house?"
Hey she could have a sense of humor. She looked around for any others that had already entered the forest. The half dressed feline looked to the others and was glad for the company. Even the lemur girl was comforting to have around being strong. Tari was fast and had strong claws but brute force was not on her menu. She had her own stength and she felt she would need it consider the attack already on the train.

Mry wasn't going to go fasr from her at all if he could help it, but the large amount of people gathering around made him slightly nervous. He didn't really do good in crowds, and really, at this point he was just waiting for something else to go wrong.
Still, it was a good way to get to know people, and he made a note of people's names as they said them. He wasn't sure if he'd remember them in the long run, but at least for the short term it would be fine.

Xi nodded to Haku, "Yes, there was never a calm moment on that train, was there? I was mostly quiet though, I don't usually like to get involved." The Inugami was quite handsome, Xi had to admit. He had a funny feeling in his tummy, like something fluttering around inside... was this how it felt to be attracted to someone? It wasn't often that the Jiang Shi was attracted to anyone... in fact this was the first time he had ever been attracted to anyone. Xi quickly shook away the thought though, that was nonsense. Crushes and love was all nonsense as well...
Well, now that they had four people they would be okay out here as long as they could protect each other. It wasn't long before he turned to the direction of another voice joining them. It was Nefetari, the sphinx girl telling the riddles earlier! "Oh, hello again! Well, we couldn't possibly head to Grandma's house because then Natalia would have to eat one of us, her being the 'wolf' after all. I'd rather not be lunch anytime soon." Xi chuckled softly, though actually quite serious...

Sepheran had miraculously survived the train crash, and even managed to find his luggage as he had landed straight on it when they fell. Sepheran had the bruise to prove it, but the basilisk didn't mind much since now he was covered with a warm green scaly jacket, he had his hood up to insure Liannan was covered as well before he had went to see what was up.
After listening it seemed everyone was trying to get to this Sandy Claws workshop place. Sepheran didn't know what it was exactly but maybe it had something good if they were willing to brave a scary place they are making it out to be. Sepheran was more then happy not to open his eyes, but the description given by Liannan was enough to make him shiver.
Grabbing the first weapon that was offered to him which happened to be A Sack Full of Joy Sepheran made his way towards were Liannan said she had saw people from the train gathering. Going as a group was the best thing to do right?

"Not like any wolf I've ever seen," noted Haku, who was otherwise oblivious to Xi's small inner conflicting. "If anything, more like a raccoon . . . bear hybrid."
LIke he would know what a lemur was!
They were joined by the blue-skinned reaper who has been somewhat accosted by Sepheran before, Sepheran himself (who was trudging up the hill to meet them; Haku rang his bell a few more times to help him find his way, again feeling oddly light-headed while doing so), and Nefertari of course.
"Rather, it's to grandfather's house we go. I imagine 'Sandy Claws' will be expecting us." Because everyone was out to get everyone as adults, right? "How well armed are we? I have this bell," Haku said, pulling his Carol out from a coat pocket. "Although not by choice . . ."

Tari was glad everyone still had something of a sense of humor. She greeted Xi again. She felt a little safer as her new pride came together. Strength was in numbers. She turned as Haku asked his question
"I have the bag of joy plus some fighting ability," she held up her own bag. She, however, did notice the other boy's reaction to Haku but she kept it to herself. Her family liked to play match maker so she knew a few signs to keep an eye out for. But she didn't want to impose on the young man. After all he wasn't her family and he might be embarressed. She'd let him do whatever it was his kind did.
"I would suggest the mountain range be our route. While narrow walkways might be bad, being surroounded on an island doesn't sound better," she took a piece of paper from her bag and drew a quick map from memory. It wasn't an master painting but it at least gave them some sense of direction.

This day had been... well, so far it kind of sucked. Not only did Raziel have no one to talk to on the train ride, and had been ignored by most of the other passengers, but the train had managed to CRASH and now they were being forced to walk around a foreboding forest as if everything was supposed to go like this.
"I can't believe this is happening..." Raziel grumbled, mostly to himself. He desperately wished right now that he had either stayed home with Onibi or managed to convince Onibi to come too. At least that way he wouldn't be alone.
Raziel walked slowly and silently near the outskirts of the major group of students, choosing to stare at the ground in despair rather than look up to others.

It seemed as though only 2 of their group had been armed with offensive weapons. Indeed, they mostly had bells, which were good for healing but not necessarily for battling. Some of her companions, though, seemed to have other things to defend themselves with, the New Natalia especially. The little Jiang Shi and the unarmed reaper, they might be harder-pressed. If they all stuck together, though, they would all survive. Indeed, each member of their party had to rely on the others to make it through.
"We should go," Laiha mumbled, her first words posed for people since the story game, "The faster we get there, the better loot we'll find." She was in agreement with the Sphinx girl as per the path they should take. She wasn't entirely certain that she could swim, herself.

"Raccoon bear thing..." Xi began to giggle almost instinctively at Haku's comment, quickly covering his mouth and tried to shake away the giggle. He flushed and covered his face with his sleeves, "S-Sorry..." he apologized. What was up with him today? Most of the time, the Jiang Shi was calm, but something about Haku ... even Xi himself didn't understand what was wrong. It was a bit frightening, not being able to keep in control of his emotions like usual. Xi wanted more than anything just to hide away in a hole right now, maybe bury himself in all the 'snow' that they were walking in.
The small group of four now became a group of seven as Xi acknowledged the presence of the blue-skinned reaper and the other one he had never seen. After his small outburst, Xi was reluctant to speak again though he had to, "Um... I also have the bells..." he mumbled quietly from behind the sleeves hiding his face. Xi nodded in agreement to Laiha and Nefetari as he quickened his pace a bit.

Sepheran smiled softly to the sound of a bell to help him better find the location of the group, Liannan was helpful but he would have to rely on his senses to get through this forest as well. "Ah, thank you Haku," Sepheran stated as he came into the group. With Liannan and his sensitive ears picking up on things he was able to form a general picture of the group around him, though there were more so people he had yet to meet then those he had already knew from the train.
Moving towards Haku just out of being more comfortable around the other boy he brought forth his weapon. "I was handed this Bag as well...not quite sure what's in it I'm afraid...but I'm sure it will be useful in a fight anyway," Sepheran stated, "And I might not be the best in seeing things, but I do have great senses otherwise," he added.

"Presents," Laiha said to the strange boil. He has no eyes, did he? Or they were covered, at least. It would suck if something sneaked from the bushes silently. Perhaps this was the one who would need most of their bells.
"Projectiles."

Oh, no!
"BEHIND YOU, BLIND BOIL! NOT A FRIEND, GET IT GET IT!"
So it had begun! Laiha wasn't sure why she was so concerned for this boy, but she was.
