Following Mitsu, Shun felt himself fairly out of place in this strange strange land. Some of the things he saw here were straight up ugly and he had to wonder why anyone in their right mind would wear such a thing. His brow furrowed as he listened to her, seeing the look in her eyes.
"I'm sure he'll be found sooner or later," he said quietly. Though, with his knowledge of some of the darker things in humanity, he knew very well that when he's found, he could be dead. He refrained himself from saying this.
"That one?" he asked, noticing that Mitsu was eying one of the dresses. His tone didn't hint that he liked or disliked that particular choice.

Pulling the dress off the hanger Mitsu held it up to herself. It looked like it was going to be the right size, which was surprising since she was rather small. "Y..yeah. Its like what I had.." She said softly. "I don't know if its very suiting but..." She couldn't seem to complete her thought as she took the dress up to the front counter to pay.
As the lady rung her up and gave her the total, Mitsu looked a little reluctant but pulled out her wallet anyway. From working at the cafe she had enough, but this was going to drain a lot of the money that she had. But it wasn't like she used it for lunch or anything.
"Its so sweet of your boyfriend to come shopping with you," The clerk said with a smile. "Normally guys won't step foot in here."
"B...boyfriend?" Mitsu looked rather confused for a moment but blushed quickly when she realized she was talking about Shun. "I...I don't think....he's not..." She couldn't seem to get her words out as she struggled to pull the money out of her wallet to pay.

Blinking at Mitsu, Shun wasn't sure what she was trying to say about the dress. Perhaps it reminded her of something? It was hard to tell. Following her to the register, his eye twitched slightly as the lady referred to him as her boyfriend. Was that what he looked like here?
"...I'm not her boyfriend," he said plainly, feeling slightly annoyed. Did the woman think that just because he happened to be hanging around Mitsu here? Spotting that the girl was having some difficulties with her wallet, Shun reached into his own and set down the money for the dress, not really caring about price or whatnot.
He wasn't exactly one to flaunt wealth, but it seemed he was fairly well off. Then again, that probably didn't come off as too much of a surprise for those who knew his 'night job'.

The clerk raised a brow as Shun declared he wasn't her boyfriend, but then he immediately put down money to pay for the dress. With a look of disbelief the girl behind the counter smiled. "Right, not her boyfriend. But you're paying for her dress?" Collecting the money before Mitsu could say a word the clerk finished the sale. "You don't look like siblings to me. And guys usually don't come in here and pay for dresses for friends."
"Ah, Shun you don't have to pay," But it was too late, the lady had completed the sale. And it seemed she was still talking and Mitsu really didn't want Shun to get mad. "No, no, he's just a really good friend." Collecting her dress quickly once it was bagged, Mitsu tried to steer Shun toward the door. "T...thank you."

Narrowing his eyes, Shun looked like he was about to give some biting words but Mitsu had already started to steer him away from the counter and out the door.
"Damn idiot of a woman," he huffed under his breath when they were outside, though he didn't care if she happened to hear. Glancing down as he was thanked, he shook his head, "It's nothing really."
He was about to start heading on back to the school, but he paused.
"Is there anything else you need?" he asked.

Mitsu sighed with a bit of relief that they were able to get out of the store with only a slight remark on Shun's part. Even though it seemed like the clerk was giggling as they left.
"N..no, I don't need anything else." Mitsu shook her head. "Will you at least let me pay you back for the dress though? I feel bad with you paying for the concert and this too." Pulling out her wallet again she pulled out the amount needed and held it up to him. She wasn't well off but she at least had the money at the moment.

"You shouldn't feel bad," he said as he looked down at the money she offered to him. Now Shun was fairly aware of Mitsu's general financial situation. At the same time, he was generally one to make sure debts were paid. These two conflicting thoughts caused him to take half of the money only.
"Keep the rest."
Turning, he went on to walk towards the school, "Let's head on back. I'll pick you up at five."

Mitsu furrowed her brows when Shun only took half the money. With a hesitant nod she put the rest away in her wallet. Maybe they would stop and eat and she could pay for food or something. "Alright."
Following Shun back to school she went to her dorm and set up her dress, careful to not hang it next to something to keep it from getting wrinkled. As she straightened out the fabric thinking about tomorrow a slight smile tried to make its way on her face again, though it just as quickly failed. There were still so many other thoughts crowding her mind but at least now there was something to look forward to.

The next day Mitsu had gotten ready early. The dress fit rather well and she had a black wrap to drape over her arms. The shoes were simple but still well suited enough for the occasion. After pinning up some of her hair to the back of her head to keep it out of her face she felt she was ready and left the dorm to meet up with Shun.

Shun arrived just outside of the girl's dormitory, far enough that Tobi wouldn't get onto him. He wore a fairly simple suit, not really being one to dress all fancy and whatnot. The jacket part of it remained opened and he had no tie.
Seeing her exit the building, he nodded to her and greeted, "All set?"
He didn't have an actual car, so he had to borrow one from one of the others in the 'family' for the night. Of course, he could have used his normal ride, but he had a feeling Mitsu's attire wouldn't be all too appropriate for a motorcycle.
In a way it was kind of odd seeing the girl dressed up like this, having never really seen her fancied up. It wasn't bad though.

"I guess I am. It doesn't look weird does it?" She turned a bit to show him the dress. Desmond had always called her beautiful....but she was starting to wonder how much of what he had told her had been a lie. It had been a game after all right?
Noting the car not far off, Mitsu raised a brow. "Is that your car?" It was a rather nice vehicle. Sleek and stylish....no doubt expensive. But then again a lot of the children in this school were rather well off.

"Not at all," he said while looking her over. For a moment, the words fumbled through his mind as he tried to think of something to add to that, "You look... nice."
That was all he could come up with right now. Looking towards the car, he shook his head while getting into the driver's seat.
"Nope. I'm borrowing this. I just have a motorcycle," Shun replied, "The concert hall is a little ways from here, so get comfortable."

"Oh? Borrowed?" Walking up to the car Mitsu got into the passenger's seat and closed to door behind herself. The car was even fancier on the inside. "This....is a really nice car." She said with a sense of amazement. Her eyes trailed over the little buttons and knobs, unsure what a lot of them did. Of course, she didn't have a car herself and her brother obviously didn't drive.
"So you have a motorcycle? What's it like?" She asked curiously as she got comfortable in her seat.

Nodding, Shun cast a glance to the side, noticing Mitsu's awe. He supposed it made sense in a way seeing how she likely didn't have a car herself. Starting up the engine, he went on to head towards their destination.
"It's a sports bike... or crotch rocket I guess. So it's pretty fast," he answered, "If you want I could take you for a ride on it sometime."
In the back of his mind, he felt a hint of agitation regarding the bike, if only because he was reminded of what happened to his original one. The damn thief of a roommate had taken it a year back and he hadn't seen the thing since then. He wasn't even sure if Blade still had it.

"A....crotch rocket?" It was an odd term that Mitsu hadn't heard before. "You would take me for a ride?" Her eyes looked curiously at Shun, silently wondering why he was going to all this trouble just for her. Sure they were friends but.... "It sounds like fun." She finally said, her eyes brightening slightly.
For a long time there was silence as Shun drove, Mitsu taking in the passing trees and buildings. It was obvious her thoughts continued to shift because her expression would go from fairly neutral to sad at the drop of a hat. A few times she had thought about saying something but then her words were lost to her. She didn't want to say something overly depressing or sad, Shun was....he was......he was trying to cheer her up wasn't he? That thought made her look back over at him, eyes softening as she let that thought sink in. He went to all this trouble...just to cheer her up.

"It's what some people call it," shrugged Shun, nodding as she took up the offer.
As they made their way, he occasionally glanced to the side to see how she was faring. Her expressions shifted from here and there but none seemed particularly happy or even content, not that he could blame her with what had happened. When they were just about there, he noticed something slightly different in her eyes; a softer look basically.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked while looking around for a parking space.
