 She doesn't notice the fire as she turns over and faces the wall just before it enters her room. She stretches her arms over her head, yawning, while closing her eyes and falling asleep. Her ear twitches slightly as she dreams. She dreams of her past, thinking how things would be different if her village had never been destroyed. It doesn't take long for it all to become a nightmare and she quickly sits up, trembling. It is then that she sees the fire and her ears flatten. She's always hated when he does that and she growls slightly, conjuring up a small sphere of wind and flicking it at the flame to make it go out.

 He shifted the fire out of the way as the wind blew past it. The fire changed color from orange to blue. He moved it closer to her, but far enough away to be able to move it out of the way if she sent another burst of wind at it.

Kira sighs and sits with her back against the wall. She stares at the flame with her ears flat against her head and a snarl starting in her throat. He always does this...

He smirked and put the fire right up to her face. It changed colors again from deep blue to pure black. It grew for a second, then vanished. He opened his eyes. The flame was gone, and he'd made sure not to touch her with it. He may be mean, but he wouldn't burn her for no reason.

She lets out a sigh when the flame finally vanishes. "'bout time..." She mutters under her breath before digging under her pillow for her diary. She writes down her nightly adventure, unconsciously writing it out in detail. The way she writes it is almost like some sort of demented fantasy written by a possessed child. She frequently glances at the door to make sure he does not enter, or send another flame in.

He sighed and stood. He was hungry. He walked into the kitchen, opening the fridge. He looked around for a moment, trying to decide what he was hungry for.

Once she finishes writing in her diary, she hides it under her pillow again. She feels her stomach growl slightly and digs through a pack that is sitting at the foot of her bed. She pulls out a half-eaten deli sandwich from when she and Chaos had gone out to renew their food supplies yesterday. The sandwich is still fresh as she had kept it in its wrappings and so she sits back and starts to eat slowly.

Not seeing anything that he really wanted, he decided to just go with simple. He poured himself a bowl of cereal and stood at the counter to eat it. He leaned on the counter, propping himself up with his elbows, as he ate the cereal.

She stops eating momentarily as the sounds of fighting can be heard clearly. "I wonder when this war will end.." She says to herself, looking out the window as the noise draws nearer. And I wonder why no one has attempted to drag my master into it...do they even know that he owns a slave? The ground suddenly shakes violently for a few seconds and she topples off of her bed, hitting the floor with a thud. After it passes, she sits up and rubs her head. "Oww...must they use explosives this close to someone's home?"

The bowl of cereal spilled when the explosive went off. He growled and walked outside, up to the idiots who'd used the explosive. "What the hell?!" he shouted at them. They looked up at him unconcerned. "Are you really that blind that you can't see that house right there?" he asked, pointing at his house. They continued to look unconcerned. "Look man, mind your own business," one of them said. "Oh, mind my own business? Okay, I'll do so." As far as Chaos was concerned, setting off explosions outside his house was his business. He let out a dark chuckle and his arms lit up in blue-black flame. He sent fireballs at the men, who freaked out and took off. Chaos laughed and walked back into the house. He walked into the kitchen. So much for his cereal. He put the bowl in the sink and got a towel to clean up the spilled cereal.

Kira winces and takes her hand away from her head to find blood. She looks down to see what could have caused it and notices some broken glass on the floor. "I wonder what that is from..." She says to herself while cautiously standing up and leaving her room. She goes straight into the bathroom and takes out the medical kit so she can clean and bandage her wound properly.

Chaos sighed and went to sit down on the couch again. He heard the bathroom door close, but didn't bother getting up to check. He probably should have gone to make sure she was okay, but if she was hurt bad enough, she would come to him.

Kira carefully wraps a bandage about her head after cleaning her wound. She hides most of it with her bangs before leaving the bathroom and returning to her room to pick up the glass. Without really thinking, she ends up cleaning her entire room.

Chaos closed his eyes. He didn't really have anything to do at the moment. His wings were stretched out behind him as he leaned back on the couch. If he didn't angle his wings the right way, it would get bothersome when he sat like this. He wasn't tired, but he'd probably end up falling asleep if he sat like this for more than a few minutes.

Kira waits until he's fallen asleep. She ventures out of her room in her wolf form and sneaks into the living room. She doesn't like to bother him when he is awake, for fear that she might do something to raise his anger. She curls up in the middle of the room with her back to him and watches the front door.
