He leapt to the side, padding to the edge of the hill he had previously tumbled down and turned to her. "Excellent! I was worried I'd have to hunt by myself, and in all honesty I fail at hunting. Though, maybe being near such a lovely maiden will give me the lucky I need." He said, grinning cheekily at her before climbing up the hill carefully, digging his nails into the earth to host himself. It was times like these he wishes he had wings.
Well, it didn't matter, his wingless self had just made a new friend, and a rather pretty one at that.

"How do you propose to hunt with the BCRs dangling from you....will they not get injured?" She asked worriedly as she followed him up the hill. It was steeper then it appeared at first glance, and she was embarrassed to find herself nearly toppling down it.
However she caught herself at the last instant, using her claws to steady herself. Then she managed the rest of the way up without incident.
"Mm." She looked up at him, "You think i shall be a good luck charm?" Heat rose to her cheek once again, it appeared she would be spending the whole day with rosy cheeks.

"You seem to think I did not think things through, hmm?" He called out once he reached the top. He padded up to a tree, marking it with a long slash before carefully setting the BCR's down, covering them with leaves. He nodded, marking the tree one more time so he could not miss it before backing away, glancing over at her.
"Why yes, I do think you are. Now, what do you think about my hiding spot?" He questioned, slightly impressed that she had climbed the hill alongside him.
"This way they won't get harmed, and the tree is marked so I will not be able to lose them."

Ocianna giggled. She couldn't help it, this male had a spirit unlike any she had ever encountered.
"It's splendid Pharos....I apologize for my lack of confidence in you...." She dipped her head forward with a soft smile playing on her lips. "I will endeavor to have more faith in you from this point on."
She walked over and made sure that the BCRs were resting comfortably under the tree, checking their temperature to make sure they were warm enough.
"I think we should stick close to here...just in case." Even though the hiding place was excellent, she still didn't like the idea of leaving them out here alone.

He nodded in agreement, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth before glancing about. "Sounds good." He chimed out with, approaching the vixen and nudging her softly. "Well then, Flower Maiden, you know the area better, where would we find something to dine on?" He questioned, smiling at the younger vixen.
"Unless you want to make this a game?"

Ocianna blushed as he nudged her, then smiled. "Well there is fish down there...." She indicated the lake, "Or....I know of an excellent place to find a hoard of rabbits...." She licked her lips, "In fact....the rabbits sound by far tastier at the moment....This....Mm....game?" She looked back at him
"And what sort of game are we talking about?" she cocked her head to the side.

Pharos grinned at her, checking the BCR's once more before padding off a few steps, tail flicking side to side. Honestly, he liked girls tails better, they made a better whooshing sound when moving through the air. Oh sheesh, if she knew the strange thoughts in his head she'd call him a madman. Hmm...Pharos the Madman. Funny...
"Rabbits seem more appealing. Once I caught a fish and it slapped me in the face. Stung like hell, have you ever had a fish smack you with its tail? It's rather degrading." He mused, chuckling to himself before turning to her, cocking his head to the side.
"A game, yes yes. Did I mention I like games? Whomever catches the biggest catch gets... I'm not sure yet. You decide the prize, Miss Flower Maiden."

"Mm..." She looked at him and laughed softly, "No....I can say honestly that a fish as never slapped me in the face." She smiled at him, amused. That seemed to be happening a lot. Pharos was so unlike any male she had ever met.
"I'm not sure what sort of prize to choose." She took the lead, knowing the area far better then the male. Her tail wagging steadily from side to side as she tried to think of something. It wasn't in her nature to play games while hunting, but the aspect of it appealed to her.
"What would you like?" She catalogued her possession and realized she didn't have much to offer him.

He smiled at her, tail flicking softly. "I would like.... a promise." He decided, leaping beside her and grinning before trotting off to the forest. He scanned the area, eyes flicking side to side before he turned to grin at her, nosing aside a branch so she could walk over unharmed. He was after all a gentleman.
"What the promise will be is a secret." He said, eyes widening slightly. "Oh, it's nothing bad, don't worry."

Ocianna looked at him suspiciously, "I....suppose that would be alright....As long as the promise is something that i can provide....." She smiled as he moved the branch. "Thank you for that...." She walked past him.
"May I have a hint as to what this promise entails?" She looked back at him curiously, with a bemused look on her face.

He turned on his heels, grinning at her and cocking his head to the side. "Perhaps..." He trailed off, tail wagging once more before he turned back around to travel onwards.
"Perhaps I can tell you." He called out, his leg feeling lighter from the lack of BCR's, almost bouncing as he moved. Deities was she cute! He was so lucky to have met her! Oh he didn't care that she was one solid color, no no no, she was cute the way she was! Of course, he wouldn't just blurt that out.
He turned, caught in the shadows of the tree's. His eyes seemed to glow like a cats, friendly and inviting. "That you won't forget me." He said, standing there for a second before he heard a rustle, the calm aura around him vanishing as he grinned and dashed forward.
"Flower Maiden, I believe I might beat you in this bet!"

Ocianna giggled as she watched the male fox. He was so cute! He acted like a kit half the time, and surprisingly that was one of the things she liked best about him.
"What....is that it?" She looked at him slightly caught off guard, "How could i ever forget you Pharos...." She giggled softly, "You are far too funny to forget.......and cute." She walked into the shadow of the tree he was, but he dashed off. She cocked her head to the side. Was he already hunting?
Slowly she closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the forest, straining her ears to pick up sounds of the rabbits on the forest floor.
Off to her left she heard the sounds of small footprints on a a pile of leaves. Eyes snapping open she crouched low to the ground and stalked toward her prey.

Pharos dashed widely, lunging into what he believed he had heard. For once, he met a body, hearing a squeal as he rolled the creature over and snarled. A large bunny was on its back, squirming about. Quickly, Pharos offed the bunny in a painless fashion before grabbing it and glancing about. He hadn't just heard the bunny, no.. he heard hooves nearby.
He was terrible at hunting, but maybe this would be his lucky day to impress the Flower Maiden? Yes, it seemed so.

She poked her head out of a bush and watched the rabbit poke it's head out of it's hole. She smiled softly to herself, then lunged forward at it as it popped half way out.
Unfortunately she was a second too late and it receded back into it's hole before she could get to it. Sighing, she turned and tried to find another rabbit. She usually was an excellent hunter, but something today had her distracted.

Pharos set the bunny down, crouching low and spotting the deer he had heard. His body tensed, shooting forward as he attempted to attack the deer head on. Instead, his shoulder was clipped as the deer lashed out, sending the fox rolling into the ground. The deer bolted, and Pharos trembled as he sat up, gritting his teeth in pain. Well, that had failed. And was his shoulder bleeding? Not to bad.... it was best the Flower Maiden didn't see.
He ripped a leaf from a tree, fumbling as he fastened it into a loop around his leg. He could say it was a fashion statement! Yea! She'd buy that, right? Right.
