Blinking Alamar had to sit down. Miss Ritsu was not a miss? Her.. no his attitude and actions were so much that of a female though. It would explain why he had no tovarish though. Many males do not feel the need to keep another fox so close. Rather they found a female to protect if they so desired. Why would such a thing result in violence though? It is true a part of me would like to challenge Ritsu for mocking me. Though there would be no honor in defeating such a weak opponent. On top of which I do not feel this was meant to mock me, rather this is how Ritsu is. Out worlders are so confusing. The females have no tovari and want none, and the males dress as though they are vixens. Perhaps I should have staying in Tzara. Is dressing as a vixen common to out-worlders? Alamar looked at his own coat wondering if he had desecrated some rule. The bow his mother had given him on the day of his departure was somewhat feminine he supposed.
(Ritsu has just confused Alamar beyond all believe wow... *two thumbs up*)

Ritsu peeked out from behind his paw, surprised that he hadn't been struck. Alamar hadn't seemed like the violent type, but he hadn't thought other males were either. He didn't know what to do, other then tell the truth.
"No.....my dress is uncommon..." He whispered, mortified with the whole situation, "I am the only male....as far as I know.....who dresses this way...I am sorry to have deceived you.....Please forgive me...I'm so sorry...I should go....I shouldn't bother you anymore.....I should go..."
Ritsu went to stand up, but then tripped over his own paw and went tumbling back down to the ground, "Ow....ow....ow...." He whined, having landed on his paw wrong.
(lol poor Ritsu....so clumsy...he's always getting hurt.)

(oh no! poor Rit *huggles*)
Alamar had to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from chuckling. This outworlder is certainly strange. He really is more female then male I believe despite his anatomy. Alamar’s eye twitched when Ritsu fell. A hopeless female at that.
Feeling more at ease Alamar was relieved that he didn’t have to wait on the curtseys’ and politeness of protocol that was necessary for females. He moved by Ritsu and grabbed him by the scruff of the odd fox’s neck with his teeth. He didn’t bite down or cause pain he merely made the motion to stop Ritsu from moving as Alamar would have for a male kit. Then without pausing he slid one paw below Ritsu’s belly and maneuvered so that Ritsu was off the paw that was injured by the fall. Then he released Ristu.
You can’t walk with that. So now sit and listen. Well it is true you did have me thinking that you are a girl I’m not offended. You cleared up the misunderstanding quickly enough and have apologized far more than necessary. Had you been a bother at any time I would have simply left. After all there is nothing tying me to this place. As for the uncommonness of your sense of dress…. It seems quite normal amongst all the strangeness that is the outerworld. Alamar grinned at Ritsu to show there were no hard feelings. It was a common thing to see in the outerworld. Alamar only hoped Ritsu could recognize it. He seems stranger than most outworlders. May I assist you back to your den?

"Mm!" He looked up baffled as Alamar grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. No one had done that to him since he was a kit. It brought a hot flush to his cheeks, making him feel as helpless as a youngster. "I...." He was quickly interrupted by the male so he decided to be polite and listen.
"My....." Ritsu blinked at the male taken back. He wasn't angry! Truly! It seemed impossible to him that after all that had occurred he was still being nice, but a small flame of hope sparked inside him. "Oh! Yes my den...." He looked to his right, "It's over there...." He stood up, making sure not to step too hard on his injured paw.

Alamar kept to Ritsu’s side that had the injured paw. To think that I would have to look after a male because he can’t look after himself. Alamar mentally sighed. Still leaving Ritsu was wrong. The male that dressed like a female was weak, helpless, and alone. Alamar’s code would not allow for him to be abandoned in such a state. Once Ritsu is back at his den I will have to do some hunting for him. He cannot hunt with a paw injured as it is. Should he place too much pressure on it, the paw will become more damaged. I will have to stay around for a day or two at the least to be certain that Ritsu will not become more impaired.

('more impaired' awwww poor Ritsu....He's hopeless lol)Ritsu blushed, "I am fine thank you.....I can manage....." He shuffled his feet to keep the weight off his hurt paw, not used to this kind of attention. Honestly he didn't know what to do with it. Normally he wouldn't have welcomed the help from a stranger, but this one appeared to be friendly. He figured all he had to do was get back to his den and he would be fine.
"This is my den.....Thank you for the help...but i can make it from here...." Ritsu pulled away from the male, he was used to taking care of himself and didn't want anyone to feel obligated to assist him, it was the main reason his parents had come to resent his existence. Not only had he been born a boy, but obligation demanded that they raise this child that they didn't want.

(it’s how Alamar thinks >.< he is so strange, yet he thinks everything else is odd. Also may I time skip a few hours and have Alamar come back with a few small fish?) Slight irritation flickered through Alamar. Did this male not realize how helpless he was? There was no shame in accepting help if one was injured. You will be unable to hunt in your condition, how do you plan on getting food? Looking Ritsu over Alamar decided that Ritsu had probably missed a few meals already. I will be back in a while with some food of some kind. Stay here and off of that paw. Alamar turned without waiting to see if he would be obeyed. He gently removed the bow his mother had given him and placed it by the entrance to the den so it would not get dirtied. Please look after this for me. It is precious to me. In truth I doubt this timid fox will so much as touch my mother’s bow, but still even if he does he seems gentle enough to not do it harm. There was stream I crossed a few hours back, perhaps I might some food near there.

(of course...no problem)
"I...." He went to talk but Alamar interrupted him, he seemed to be doing that a lot. Along with bossing Ritsu around, not that he would ever put up a fight. It wasn't in him to disobey, even a complete stranger.
"Thank you...." He whispered softly, then turned and looked at the bow. Precious? Fearing that something might happen to the bow, Ritsu walked into the den and set it carefully on the ground. The entire cave floor was bedded with thousands of sweet smelling flowers, with vibrant purples and pinks coloring the drape cavern. He knew on first glance a person would think it a vixen cave but he didn't care. It suited him.

(lol poor Ritsu. Now that Alamar knows his a male it’s a whole new set of rules.) Alamar came back a few hours later carrying one medium and one small sized fish in his mouth by their tail fins. The bottoms of his legs where caked in mud. The fish were gutted and beheaded at the stream in order to prevent Ritsu from seeing anything that could cause the delicate male to faint. He walked to the edge of the den; leaned down to look inside and was surprised to see his bow inside the den. Ritsu had seen to it that it hadn’t been harmed at all. Alamar was pleasantly surprised. He set down the two fish outside of the den not willing to enter the other male’s den. To do so might be seen as a challenge or imposing.
The fish here are for you. I caught another small on at the stream but I ate that on the way back. A pleasing floral scent emanated from Ritsu’s den and Alamar took a moment to appreciate it. It was foreign to him like the rest of this area, but not unpleasant in any sense of the word. Looking at his own paws he decided to do a bit of cleaning and began to wipe of his paws while facing away from Ritsu’s den so he wouldn’t get any dirt on the fish.

Ritsu look up at the sound of footsteps and was surprised when he discovered that his tail was wagging. He couldn't remember the last time he was excited to see anyone.
"Are you not coming in?" He looked at him shocked when he stopped at the entrance, "Did i....do something wrong?" He looked down to see if the bow was still alright, maybe that's why he didn't want to come in. But everything look fine with it.
"I'm sorry if i offended you in any way...." Ritsu poked his head out of the den.

Alamar turned still wiping off mud from his paws. For once mild surprise was etched in his face. Mmm? Would you take offense if a strange male entered your den without your express consent? In Tzara it would be an insult and a challenge to do so. What is it with outworlders and their strange ways? Do they have no sense of territory or is it only Ritsu with such manners. Besides which my paws aren’t really fit for entering another domain. Alamar held up his dirty paws slightly embarrassed. Normally he would have cleaned himself off in the stream but truth be told he was worried Ritsu might injure himself more without supervision of some kind, not that he would ever admit such worry over another male. I am grateful to you for watching my mother’s parting gift for me. You have my thanks Ritsu. Alamar bowed to Ristu as was fitting.

Ritsu blinked, "You have been so nice to me....why would i think you're insulting...or challenging me by entering my den?" He cocked his head to the side. he didn't understand the strange customs of this male's homeland, the code of conduct he was expected to follow made absolutely no sense to him whatsoever.
Then he looked down at the male's paws and then blushed hard as he bowed at him, "Oh no.....no you don't need to bow to me..." He shook his head, "It was nothing special...." He looked at the bow, "I set it on the ground is all....Please.....It's fine....." He said quickly, "And please...come in...."
(lol i thought it fit perfectly.)

Alamar tried to explain why he would not enter Ritsu’s den uninvited. Outworlders are such unusual foxes. A den is a home and a territory. To enter another’s without permission is unthinkable. Alamar listened to Ritsu and entered Ritsu’s den feeling uncomfortable with the other male’s blush. It is odd to believe that Ritsu is a male. He appears so delicate and submissive. He would do well as a female. I wonder how he was raised because of that. Alamar was careful where he stepped while in the den there were so many fragile little flowers that Alamar was afraid to crush them. Did he pick all of this himself? It must have taken hours. He certainly has dedication to what he enjoys. Alamar retrieved his bow and carefully reaffixed it to his side.

Ritsu blinked, then shook his head. "Well.....i guess i could understand that.....at least a little bit...." He turned his attention to the fish that Alamar caught for him. "Mm....." No one had ever hunter for him, not even his parents. They said since he was born male, of course he would be able to hunt for himself.
WHich of course he couldn't. Not only was he a kit, but he was the most clumsy and awkward kit in the world..
He scooped up the first fish, then slowly start to munch on it. After he was finish he cleaned the sides of his mouth and looked up at Alamar. "Thank you....." He smiled weakly, it was embarrassing to have someone hunt for you because you were incapable.
When he walked in, RItsu smiled, chest puffing out in prode for his den. He had put lots of time and energy into making it a home.

You are welcome. Your den seems well cared for and looks…. Feminine. Pleasant. The flowers are a nice touch. How long did it take for you to gather them? Alamar cupped a flower delicately but didn’t pick it up. It feels strange to have someone thank me for doing something that is so basic. He is injured and required aid. Why should he be surprised when I give him aid? I did not give him anything large or difficult to obtain. Alamar released the flower not wanting to bruise the fragrant blossom’s petals. Noticing Ritsu had finished the fish Alamar wondered if the other male was thirsty. Do you have something with which water can be carried? It is a short trip to the stream, it should not take more than half of an hour since I don’t have to try and catch any fish. I could be there and back without being missed. If Ritsu has two water containers I can also bring back some water to soak his paw. It might not be broken but cool water will prevent any swelling.
