If Bell had anything to do about it, he wouldn't end up in the hospital again. She still needed to track down whatever blue haired b***h had been responsible for the first trip. Somehow Bell had managed to forgo any hospital visits. For that, she was thankful. Though perhaps that spoke about how carefully she patrolled. She didn't normally step out of her safe little comfort zone. Well, not till recently, and she probably now had the scars to show for that. Thankfully said scars were easily concealed by normal clothing.


"I guess that means you're back at work in time for the rush of the holiday season. I bet they're glad." It was bound to be a juggling act - work, school, senshidom... "But even more important - real hugs!" she chuckled as she reached for the quilt that had gotten thrown to the other side of the couch.

Snuggle, Bell did - cuddling up close along side him and throwing her legs across his lap, then wrapping the two of them in the nice warm quilt. Now she supposed it was time for her little surprise to him - even if it was her birthday.

"So. My father is sending a half sister I never knew about to come live with me," Bell said this quite casually. The letter that had been stuffed in the envelope with the birthday card her father's secretary sent had been short, but to the point. Bell had a little sister. Nine years old. Her name was Ainsley.

Bell wasn't good with children. She wasn't quite sure how this was going to go. However, at least this little girl wasn't going to face the same fate Bell had - to be raised by boarding school after boarding school. This girl would have her big sister. Even if big sister was a total fail with kids.

"Assholish, WTF-worthy, shitty, ******** up, absolutely irresponsible of him~" she verbally filled in the blank. Yes, Bell was perfectly capable of cursing.

She sighed, "Her name is AInsley, and she is nine." It could have been a worse age. At least said sibling wasn't at that rebellious pre-teen age, or too young to understand things. But either way it totally tore Bell's schedule all to s**t. How was she supposed to go patrol and watch a kid at the same time? Bell supposed she could do so while the runt was at school, but it wasn't like a lot happened during the day time... that and - le gasp! - what did that mean for cuddle tiems?

"Sometime after Christmas, I think. The letter really didn't say."

Oh, surely introductions to a nine year old couldn't be near as worrisome as Bell was sure finally being introduced to Xavier's father would be. As if Bell wasn't nervous enough, yknow? Not only did Bell not know crap about kids, she had never really interacted with any parental figures, either. At least that weren't temporarily under the guise of teacher or store clerk.

But now Bell had to decorate the spare room, and she had no clue what Ainsley liked. Oh, Bell knew she was totally going to girly-fy the room, and she'd probably look for all manner of plushies, but..but what if the little girl didn't like girly things... ARGGGGGG. Bell tried to throw all her frustrations away in a sigh.

Bell shook her head, "I don't think so. Beyond listening to my ranting, anyway," Bell gave a small laugh. It was good to finally have the news delivered, and to have vented her frustration. She just hoped having a pint-size tag-along now wouldn't put a damper on things. She didn't think it would, but one could never be too sure.

She reached up and played with Xavier's hair, idly combing through it, and twirling it. Where there had been frustration, there was now some semblance of content. Deep down Bell knew it was foolish to have any worry.

Ah, but did most people leave kisses on their teddy bear? Bell was still keen on those cuddles and kisses. She was, however, still generally shy and innocent in her delivery. But it was true, the best solution to her frustrations was distraction, and what more welcome a distraction than sharing her affection?

Bell smiled. It was too cold to leave the house, and she wasn't about to force him out in to it, even if she had been hungry, which remarkably she wasn't. She blamed that on the fruit she had earlier. Nothing more filling than a fruit salad. Of course she might very well have still been in a partial natural sugar coma. Later she would probably make dinner, despite any protests that she shouldn't have to on her birthday. Bell was used to treating the day like any normal day, after all.

"You're already here. That's all I want." Corny as the line may have been, it was the truth. All she wanted was him. "After all, you've already done more for me today than anyone had before," and there was that adoring look in her eyes.

The whisper name her shiver slightly as it tickled her ear, and caused her to grin. Bell knew she was very fortunate to have met Xavier. How would she have even gotten through current turns events had she not? She might have run away, for she doubted she would have been strong enough to see through with her duties as not only a senshi, but now a sister. But love gave her the strength to stand alone.

She sat up slightly from where she had been nestled by his side, the quilt falling slightly from around her shoulders, "You would still call me a lady after those awful words I spouted in regards to my father?" Bell asked playfully
