Europa struggled to wipe snow and gravel off her face, cringing as she did. This was going to be an absolute mess in the morning, she could already tell- But at least the camel was cornered. She glanced up at Scylla, remembering the other scout's attack's destructive potential.
"You're going to smash it to smithereens, right?" she asked weakly. After what that thing had done to her face, she wanted it dead. "Please tell me you're going to smash it to smithereens."
All rules about respecting other people's property were suspended as soon as said property turned vicious. Before the nativity set had been undeserving of whatever wrath had been inflicted on it, but now... Europa wouldn't be half surprised if the camels had done all the damage.
The camel pulled back its lips, readying another snowball.

"Do you know a way to stop it other than smash it to smithereens?" Scylla asked as she pushed off the ground. Her voice came out sharper than it probably should have, considering the other senshi was bleeding profusely out her face. Scylla's own leg ached, and her neck, where she had taken a gravelly ball herself. And her arm, and stomach, and kidneys- well, that was where she expected her kidney was- and all the places she'd been hit by the one that had cornered her in the manger. Stable. Thing.
And much like Europa, she wanted this to be over, and these monsters to be finished. "I will smash it to smithereens." She agreed with a sigh. The camel was preparing to spit, when the thick arm of one of her three tentacles jammed it. The look on the camels face was almost comical. Until the other two limbs caught it by the front and back legs and hoisted it into the air, weaving threateningly.
"Lets get some cover." She told Europa, wincing at the blood on her face.

"Okay," nodded Europa weakly, getting to her feet and wiping her bloody nose on her glove. She did a bit of a bob-and-weave as she followed Scylla, still catching her bearings. Through the trees, she could see the red and blue flash of police cars, and she could hear their sirens.
"We'd better power down and play innocent," whispered Europa, who was grateful to at least be thinking straight even if she wasn't able to walk in a single-file line. Her glamour faded, tiara disappearing into the ether and fuku dissolving into jeans and a sweater beneath her coat, and Tallulah stumbled ahead of the still-transformed Sailor Scylla.
When she emerged, battered and bloody from the trees, she found herself face-to-face with three very confused looking officers.
"Oh my god thank god you're here it was terrible," she wept. Her face certainly seemed to back up the story. "We were just trying to straighten up after the vandals and they attacked."
"The terrorists?" asked the cop quizzically, and Tallulah shook her head.
"No," she said seriously, pointing to the mangled camel lying in the doorway of the manger. "The camels."

There were the sounds of ceramic splintering behind them as they moved back the way that they had come, and then Scylla's strain faded; with no one to control them in their immediate presence, and no prey, the Kraken's power slid away like rain sliding off a roof, leaving Scylla feeling quite self-satisfied. "Right," she agreed, seeing Europa change into someone she may have seen before. "Play innocent."
From head to toe, the girl who stepped out behind 'Sailor Europa' was almost impeccable enough to make their story ring false. Black boots underneath of tailored straight-leg black wool pants, and a black double breasted Cashmere and wool coat with a funnel neck collar. It was almost military, complete with epaulettes and a pleat or two. Front button closure, belted waist, and above the open neck was a purple silk business shirt. But her face was lined with tears, and her sniffling had caused the little bit of mascara that she wore to run down her cheeks. Her face was red from the cold, but she didn't blotch. (Jada was always glad she didn't blotch when she cried.) "We'd been out for a walk." she explained, chiming in. "And... then... Officer, it was terrible. The camels spit at us, and it really hurt."
Exchanging looks, the officers decided two pretty lasses like these two... needed to be drug tested back at the station. After the bleeding was stopped. The issue here was clearly the work of the terrorists. Jada sniffed, dabbing at her cheeks with plush black gloves.

Tallulah pulled a tissue out of her coat pocket and dabbed at her bloody face, aware of the officers watching her. Her face would be a mess of cuts and scratches in the morning, but right now she was pretty sure it looked a lot worse than it actually was. Her nose wasn't broken, although it was dripping slightly. "Sorry, officers," she sighed. "We didn't see anyone."
She glanced back at the girl who had been Scylla, thinking she looked familiar but not knowing where from, and then back at the very perplexed cops.
"Maybe you ought to come down to the station," the middle one offered, and she shook her head.
"I don't think we'd be much help," she sighed.
"Or at least go to the hospital."
Spotting an exit, Tallulah nodded. "We're not parked too far from here," she explained, hoping it wasn't a lie. Scylla looked like the kind of girl to own a car. "We'll take ourselves."
She glanced ruefully around the destroyed nativity set. Youma camels or not, she felt awful. "I'm sorry we can't be more help."

Two of the police officers walked the two girls to where Jada's car was parked, and luckily it was! The silver BMW gleamed in the light of the gas station about a quarter mile down the road, and Jada burbled at one of the officers on the way. His eyes had glazed over quickly enough listening to her talk, so whatever was coming out of her mouth was probably socially normal. Goodness knows what was on her mind was other things.
"Officer," she asked, after she had opened the door for Tallulah and solicitously let the girl slide in. The seats had been covered in individual covers of white-trimmed red velvet, in keeping with the season, but she pulled the cover off before letting her in. The seats were still heated, as Tallulah would soon find out. There was even a small Christmas tree hanging from the rear view; the ornaments were tiny pictures of her family and a few close friends. There were even little lights on it which shimmered when Jada pushed a button on the base, casting light enough for the girl to see by. "What will be happening with the remainder of the Nativity?" She had left her flannel pants wrapped around baby Jesus.
"Evidence." He told her, and moved her around the car to the driver's side while the other shut the door for Europa. "They'll be kept until we've solved this terr- err- this camel issue."
"Fight the good fight, officer." Jada told him, tilting her chin up. "Don't let those vicious, violent camels win!" She got into her car, shutting the door behind her. "Hospital or my house to clean up?" She asked Europa as they pulled out of the gas station. "I'm good either way!" Off they zoomed.
In the forest, pieces of camel dust floated and settled on the remaining two hidden wisemen.
