((distance: 10 first four: 1d20 + 26 = Arin's DEX roll second four: 1d20 + 17 = DC failure means one unit of distance lost. Once all units are lost, Arin is in range.)) "It was strange, Querrellous. I've never seen anything like it on a living being before... The Original Mark was present, but inactive. She was very much alive and fighting, but she should have been dead... And that shape... What does it mean? She couldn't be...""Silence! Speak no further of those thoughts on your mind, child. We shall see."Arin's eyes opened slowly, and she found herself in a dark, stone room, laying on what could most readily be described as a rock. In fact, upon closer inspection, it was, in actuality, a rock. She looked up to notice the old man known as Querrellous enter through a hole that served as the door."Woman. I could just as easily destroy you as I could pluck a blade of grass from the ground, but there are larger things at work here. If you can survive a few tests to assess your worth, you will earn your right to live. If you refuse, you will be killed. If you run away, you will die. And if you fail, you will be ripped apart, you will be chewed, you will be swallowed, you will be digested, and then, thankfully, you may die. What do you say?""Do I have a choice?" Arin sat up, feeling completely at ease strength-wise. She must have recovered immensely, although she couldn't tell exactly how much, due to her ki being absent. She had nothing to go off of."Now that you mention it... No." He nodded slowly, giving a slight smile. "But don't worry; if my friend here is correct, you've got nothing to worry about."A weak smile came from the pale blue M'Erian peeking around the corner of the door before she disappeared behind the wall again. She looked no older than a fifteen-year-old human, if your eye was accustomed to sorting out an M'Erian's age. Arin's eyes narrowed. "And if she's wrong?"A small, nonchalant smile. "Well, then you should worry. Come."Arin followed Querrellous several yards into the stark light of day. It seemed that they were in a cave, near a rare copse of trees, that stretched almost a mile in diameter, and the ocean, which stretched half the planet. "You've been covered in your sleep with a perfume, scentless to you, perhaps, but quite pungent to the creature that it is meant to attract. In fact, here it comes now." He smiled softly.Arin saw a creature thirteen feet tall step out of the trees, sniffing the air. At the age of thirteen, our children take this test in groups of three or four. Each child is often comparable to your powerlevel... Before you were restricted... Three out of four groups fail... You will be acting alone. I would suggest fleeing in terror.""WHAT THE HELL!?" Arin took Querrellous' advice, and began sprinting as fast as she could inland, away from the trees, the giant raptor shooting after her.LV. 35 Experience:Hp: 945 Strength: 44 | mod = 17 Dexterity: 44 | mod = 17 Constitution: 44 | mod = 17 Intelligence: 14 | mod = 2 Wisdom: 44 | mod = 17 Charisma: 44 | mod = 17 Ki: 32 | mod = 11 Dodge Bonus: 44 Base Attack Bonus: 35 Attack Melee: 52/47/42/37/32/27/22/17 Base Save Bonus: 17 Fort: 34 Rex: 34 Will: 34 Damage: Martial damage: 18-23 ~Skills~ Swim: (Str) 83

She had finished two cups when a circular shadow appeared in the corner. the shadow grew upwards and changed shape to resemble that of a human figure before the shadows dissipated to reveal Tora."Well if it isn't the trophy wife herself. how are you doing?"Selena looked up from her tea temporarily."Are you going to sit down or what?"Tora, somewhat surprised, sat down right across from her, another cup of tea appearing in front of him. he drank deeply of the tea. and a smile crossed his lips. "What are you planning?"
Lite jumped from treetop to treetop, enjoying his old stomping grounds. he was surveying the land for a good long while, when he saw a glow in one part of the woods that wasn't there before. he pulled a u-y, and went to check it out.

Selena took another sip of her tea. "What? Why do I have to be planning anything? Can't I just sit down with the most hated being of the man I love and have some tea?"Tora gave her the look. you know the look. it's the one people give you when they want you to be serious because they know/strongly suspect you are lying through your teeth. she set down her tea "Okay, you got me. I want you to stop ruining the life of Rota." "BA-Hahahahahaha! you DO know you have a better chance of convincing a waterfall to become a geyser, right?"Selena picked up her Tea cup once more. "I'll make it worth your while." She said in a sing-song voice as she took another sip of tea, reveling in the quizzical look on Tora's bleeding face.
Lite inspected the purple light from a distance, not wanting to get too close, lest it be dangerous. his face had grown serious, his tail had stopped moving, instead curling around a nearby branch as he clung to a tree. the hackles on his back had risen slightly in preparation for the worst. The worst of it was that he didn't have a clear sight to what the source of the purple light was. he needed to get closer.

The man took a deep bow, standing back up and responding and a smooth, almost melodic voice, "I am Kruxias, your forefather of many years. I am also the first of our kind."
Zyke looks at Kruxias with a questioning glance, He didn't know what this man was talking about. What did he mean about the first of our kind? How could he possibly be Zyke's forefather but still here talking to him? The look on his face must have been obviously puzzled, because Kruxias took note of it and said to him,
"There shall be other times for your questions to be answered. For now, you must listen to me and learn, because you are going to need the knowledge and power that I will be giving you in the time to come."

Arin looked back. The raptor was gaining... Quickly... And it didn't even seem to be using all of its energy... Without her ki... I don't stand a chance... Teams of four, all more powerful than her... All of them unsealed... Three out of four fail... She was terrified. There was no way she was surviving this... Especially without flying. The creature was gaining ground on her, and it wasn't even trying... Her time had run out... She'd had a couple months... But eventually, all things come to an end; including, it seemed, borrowed time.

(( 1: Arin's sense motive 1d20 + 16 2: raptor's intimidation 1d20 + 17
whoever wins gets initiative. Winning by ten on Arin's part means the raptor gets -50% to all checks for the remainder of the fight. Failure by Arin leads to a bonus of the difference to the raptor's checks))
Arin looked forward for a moment, to watch her ground; yeah, that's useful... There's nothing to trip on here... Giant ******** grassland that it is... When she lifted her head, mid-stride, to peer behind her, she noticed that the beast had closed half the distance between them in the space of only a few seconds. The only thing that could have beat the insane speed of the crashing of her feet on the grass was the pounding of her shriveled, black heart in her chest. She heard the shink, shink, shink of the raptor's claws in the soil, and its body in the knee-high grass. It's going to catch me... It's going to kill me... "I'm going to die..." At this realization, Arin did something inexplicable; she stopped running. She stood still so fast that the grass in front of her parted as if in her wake. And she stood, even as she turned to face the creature bearing down upon her. She tried to will steel into her bones... But at the moment, it seemed that all she could manage was lead. Her feet were frozen to the flattened grass, and she watched as the creature barreled toward her, noticing the saliva on its fangs, its mouth large enough to swallow the small queen in just a couple, vicious bites. Arin would not go out of this existence fleeing... And she would not let herself die a coward.
Querrellous watched as Arin stood firm against her death. She didn't know it, but this animal had no external senses... Well, touch and taste, to be sure, but hearing, scent and sight were long extinct in the species. They had one sense that could not be understood by Arin's brain, though... They could sense fear. All creatures felt it, and any of them that hid or flew would feel it. This made it perfect for tracking. If Arin could defeat it, she might have a chance. Being on her own was an advantage... not everyone can stifle their fear... Especially not when their friends are being ripped to pieces. He watched with crystal-clear vision, and un-barred anticipation.

"You have a power that only a few members of our family has had, thirteen in fact, the first being myself, whom lived many millenia ago. You've inherited the same genetics and will to achieve what we have achieved before you."
Kruxias walked toward the tree in the center tree, looking toward the top.
"This is my tree. Here, it represents my lineage in your blood. The rest of this trees all represent the rest of your family who have had our power. Your tree is this one, the only one with leaves, because you are the only one left alive."
Zyke continued to stare at Kruxias, not even following his gaze at the large central tree.
"What is this power you keep on referring to?"
Kruxias looks back to Zyke. He says with a calm, yet much more menacing voice,
"We are the White Saiyans, our name coming from our White hair and ki when we ascend into super saiyan form. The few of us that have ever been have always been extremely powerful, even as far as super saiyans go. All of us have had similar physical traits, namely being our red hair and eyes. And our Super Saiyan forms have violet eyes instead of the tell tale green."
He walks towards Zyke and touches Zyke's forehead with his forefinger, a symbol appearing in light blue runes on his head and face, spreading across his whole body, illuminating brightly for a few seconds before fading from view.

Zyke felt a tug at his back, as he began to slide back towards the opening in the roots of the tree. Kruxias watched as Zyke began to slowly glide away.
"We will speak again, Zyke."
Zyke was pulled back through the tree, flying at a remarkable speed back to his own consciousness where he began to awake, the regeneration process being complete, and his body beginning to rouse him. The bacta tank emptied and Zyke stepped out, fully refreshed. He looked down at his hand, and saw a fleeting trace of a blue rune on his hand, skittering up his arm.
He didn't sit and reflect to hard or long on what he had seen during his meditation, all he knew is that Alice was going to take a while to become repaired, and that their leader Arin was missing in action with absolutely no trace of her ki anywhere. so he was going to trust that she was in control of her situation, and that she would return in due time. So he was going to train until then.

Zyke walked out into the light of M13 and took a look at his surroundings, taking in information that he had not previously bothered to gather while he was struggling to rectify the problems that had befallen Tenkuu. He stretched and made sure to check his ribs. Feeling that they had mended perfectly, he relaxed himself and prepared to begin his training.

"How so?" Tora said, placing the teacup on the table, completely uninterested in anything liquid based at this moment.Selena smiles as she sips her tea once more. she had him where she wanted him. "You stop tormenting Rota, and I'll make sure you get your own body."Tora sat there.mouth agape.
Lite went towards the purple glow, and saw Arin standing there, radiating the purple flames she was known for. "Hey! Auntie Arin! what are you doing here?" Arin paid him no heed as she stared into the distance. Lite got behind her and looked where she was, and was horrified by what he saw.

Grave held his position floating above the water. Slowly using air to pick up the water and trying his hardest to control it. "All I have to do is separate the water while its in the air and I can live up to my forsaken name." As it rings loudly in his head ...Demon of the Mist...
Grave's eyes start glowing deep and blue as the water rises up from the fold. He softly smiles as air cuts up the thick water particles in the air and shoots up the small particles into the the sky. As the water falls back down he softly curses as he realizes he made rain. "Damn, it'll never be mist at this rate."

Tora sat there for an unknown amount of time, weighing the pros and cons, few there may have been. he pondered and puzzled and thought and irked, and what have you. Selena just sat there, sipping tea. if he wouldn't come to the desired decision, she would persuade him with force. if that couldn't be done, she would kill him. simple as that.
Saibamen. hundreds upon hundreds of Saibamen. their green figures and piercing red eyes stared directly at Lite, completely bypassing Arin in their entirety. Lite expressed aloud his fear and disdain for this situation. just as he thought all was lost, he saw his he watched as the figure of Rota walked to take his place along side Arin.

He had sat there for the longest time that he had ever shut up for. he finally looked up, and looked right into the eyes of Selena. "How do I know you will honor this agreement?" Selena put her teacup down, and said matter-of-factly "If I break this agreement, then you have every right to take control of Rota's body and kill me."
Lite glowed with happiness. he had no idea he was dreaming at this point. he watched in awe as Arin fended off a few of the horde of Saibas with relative ease.saibamen started exploding in desperation, but the Rockba-Uhala's were tossed into the crowd to kill of even more of the horde, witch was not shrinking in size anytime soon.

Arin raised her fist to strike the beast on the jaw, watching with wide eyes as it leaped forward in a predatory pounce, claws on its hind legs flared, teeth bared and gleaming in the sunslight. Is it always day on this planet? She didn't have time to ponder the astronomy. She was fighting a losing battle, in the most direct sense of the phrase. There was no way she could beat this creature... It was vastly more powerful than her, and she had no power to use against it...

This concept surprised and intrigued him. the chance to kill the love of his most hated person's life was almost too good to pass up, but he couldn't be sure she actually meant it. he would leave nothing to chance. Selena could see the wheels turning in Tora's Demented Head. she knew exactly how to play to his murderous and psychotic personality, and how to exploit it beyond all reason.
the saibamen numbers were only increasing that would make the Hydra jealous. for every handful they killed, 50 took their place. Arin resorted to her method of butchering them last time, and that was to decimate them with all her might. she charged her purple, flaming Ki ball as the phoenix on her back seemed to screech out to the heavens. she threw the ball at the oncoming onslaught, and blocked the brunt of the blast. for Lite, this was De'ja Vu all over again. all of the saibamen seemed to be killed off, and Arin was looking really ragged. Lite felt a smile form on his face, untill he saw the last saibaman rise from the ashes of his comrades.
