Don't look at me, I dunno how to make new compound greek words. X3 I had "Skiakinesis", but that could so easily be misread as "skankykinesis". :/

paralock Yes, there are many more Kenisi (forms of Kenisis like telekenisis, pyrokenisis, aerokenisis). Here are the ones I know: Telekenisis: Moving Objects Aerokenisis: Air PyroKenisis: Fire HydroKenisis: Water GeoKenisis: Earth Umbrakenisis: Shadows Spectrakensis: Light Biokenisis: Living Things There are many more, and there are training exercises for all of them... This is just my two cents on the matter but the way I see it is that there is only telekenisis and all those other names you have up there are just one focused use. Take pyrokenisis for example, if you look back a your high school science class you know that fire is created but the movement of atoms, and as soon as they start moveing at the right speed they give off energy as heat and light aka fire. So the way I see it Telekenisis, Aerokenisis, PyroKenisis, HydroKenisis, GeoKenisis, Spectrakensis,and Biokenisis are all the same thing. Becuse light is nothing more then particles the all you need to do is control them and you have Umbrakenisis too.

Aye, but some folk (apparently) have better control over one aspect rather than a whoe range of them. Just like all magick is essentially the same, but some people are just better at say, scrying, or rituals, etc.

I don't believe Clairvoyance is strictly seeing what is going on in a particular place or around a particular person/thing. I've heard many of instanceses of clairvoyance where it was simply the knowledge of present occurences popping into the mind of the 'seer' in question. I believe that it works both ways, thus the two terms above should be thought of as two sides of the same coin. I think Precognition can work both ways as well, but as far as I could tell you there would almost now way of distinguishing clairvoyance from precognition.

HI I was browsing around and I saw this and I hope you don't mind me posting here. I've been a psion for about a year now, and Atticus is right, all those other "kenisis" terms aren't actual terms used in the psionic comunity, it's all telekenises/psychokenisis. Many psions will get irrateded with you very quickly for using them. Some people are better at moving certain things, but that's just because that's what they practiced with, or just what the thought would be easier. Oh, and "biokenisis" is called DMILS or Direct Mental Influence on Living Systems. smile
