"I wrote it myself, about a small green firelizard actually, she woudl constantly fly back and forth through the Harperhall complex, carrying messages back and forth." Shdrawn explained, "I don't think she liked to go between. She was a bright personality. A pleasure to have, especially if you had gotten runner duty and she was working. The hall has a lot of stairs.. ugh."

Mercy nodded as he explained the inspiration behind the tune "Thats interesting...I hadn't heard of a firelizard who wouldn't go between before" She remarked, she wondered i there was a reason for it or if the little creature had simply enjoyed her trips back and forth to much to cut them short but betweening to her destination. It was of course something she would never know
"I've never been to Harper hall" Of course she'd never had a reason to go so that made perfect sense..really when she thought about i Mercy hadn't been much of anywhere except here and the hold she'd been born into. 'We will go many places when we fly together mine' Aerith promised. 'Of course we will, we will make sure to see everything we can in this world' She promised the little white before refocusing on Shedrawn "But maybe when Aerith is bigger I'll have a chance"

"Oh that would tie the Masters up in a knot," Shedrawn cried delightedly, "a rare white dragon in their yard, what to do?" he fell into fits of laughter. After he got himself under control, he asked her, "Where were you from by the way? What craft?." His curiosity nagging him. "And the green flit could go between although I only heard that she could, I suppose she just hated the cold?"

"Well..I would hope they'd just come out and say hi" Mercy responded with some amusement in her voice. "It will be quite a while before we'll get the chance though I think" She admitted before glancing at Aerith - who by this time had fallen fast asleep "She's so much smaller then the others..I don't think we'll be allowed to fly when they do" She confessed with a slight shrug.
Turning her attention back to Shedrawn she smiled "I was hold born and studying to be a healer when the search dragon found me. I figured even if I didn't impress there would be a need for a healer here so I came"

"Oh they would come out all right, bowing and scraping, babbling inscecently. And healers are always helpful, I for one am very glad you came." He said sincerely. "You and Aerith will rule the skies someday and I hope to be there to watch. You know, I wouldn't mind exploring the Southern Continent more, how about you? Any places you want to go once you get your wings?" He asked

"Well theres isn't really any need for bowing and the like" Mercy stated with a touch of amusement "I mean she's just a dragon, a lovely, good tempered rather pale colored dragon..but just a dragon like all the others in the end" She stated firmly...sure Mercy loved Aerith, with all her heart really but she honestly didn't think they were any different from any other dragon/rider pair in the Weyr.
"I can't wait to fly and Aerith wants to see as much of the world as we're allowed to explore...I tend to agree with her on that, I mean when your given the opportunity to do so, might a well take advantage of it" She stated "Perhaps we can explore together when you impress" And she was sure he would.

" We know Aerith is special but not too much more so than other dragons, but they don't and whites are so rare, I can see the drool now." He replied. Isdrayon insinuated his face into Shedrawn's line of vision until Shedrawn could scarcely see anything else, eyes whirling. "Yes you are "special" too, brat." Shedrawn satisfied the little cheeky flit. "And that would be wonderful, I can't wait to fly! Imagine the consternation if I got a white too. Wouldn't that be a sight, but that will never happen the odds are too great against us." he laughed. "Besides no offense to your pretty there but I kinda would like a bit bigger of a dragon so I wouldn't have to worry about squashing him or her every time we flew. Although in the early days, Aerith is much easier to pack around conviniently." He grinned. "And so pretty too." he made sure to compliment the little white. "If I impress at all. There is always the chance I won't but I will keep trying. But one can wonder right? Makes for great conversation at any rate."

Mercy had to laugh a little bit at the flits actions - he was certainly a character and she was sure would get into all sorts of trouble as he grew up. He'd probably run Shedrawn ragged, though she doubted he would mind all that much and in any case he'd end up with a fine helped when he impressed.
"She is small" Mercy agreed "I guess its a good thing I am too, but I imagine she'll grow to be at least as big as a runnerbeast" She mused as she eyed the white who was still involved in daintily eating her food. "Maybe you'll get a bronze, they're huge" She remarked 'and I'm sure you will, I failed my first time too - and it was certainly worth the wait!"

" No matter what I get it will be worth the wait, and thank you for your faith Mercy, you certainly got lucky with your princess here." he stroked Isdrayon absently. his eyes wandering off and seeing the different draconic possiblilities. "So nice to be able to fly." he mused too bad people don't have wings, it seems everything else native to this planet does except tunnelsnakes and the fish."

"I certainly did" Mercy agreed as she looked over at Aerith "Bu I expect everyone thinks the same once they impress" She confessed with a laugh - after all how could a rider think otherwise of their dragon?
"Don't worry..we'll fly together someday" she assured him "You'll see...and Aerith and I will be there to cheer you on in the next hatching" She reminded him "Moriath wished me well the last time and you see how that turned out - obviously having a dragon cheerleader is a good thing" She joked

Shedrawn grinned. He was so excited! "Can't get any better than a white dragon for a cheerleader." Isdrayon chirped in agreement. Shedrawn yawned "Well Mercy my dear, I believe I am going to go to bed for a little while, i have night shift in the kitchens today and I am already tired just thinking about it." He bowed to her and Aerith, Isdrayon went and gave Mercy a goodbye squawk.

"Take care of yourselves" Mercy told him with a smile, reaching out to stroke Isdrayon as he came over to say good-bye "And you be a good fellow and don't cause your friend to much grief yes?" She encouraged the bronze.
'Tell them I say goodbye as well' Aerith suddenly piped in and Mercy obliged "Aerith says farewell too"
