To answer that statement Stray, here's one of my favorite comic images of d**k and Jason kicking butt!  Yeah, Jason did wear shorts, in fact it was Tim that broke the tradition... in 1990, which I think you'll agree makes him the coolest Robin ever!

Stray_Dog Match, who I'll be playing, is an imperfect clone of Superboy, who is in turn a clone of Superman. I'll need to see about the timeframe of our rp, because what I have for Match's profile may change depending. I don't think we've had a Superboy, in this continuity. Besides, wasn't Connor Kent half human anyway?

rofl Yup, you got it. In a closer view of the pic, the hair is quite the indicator as well... I didn't make the highlights in the black hair as noticable as in other pictures...
Tim's my fav, as Robin.... ((Grayson's great too, but I really like him best as Nightwing...)) mrgreen He's the computer whiz, he's dorky and he gets the best uniforms... that's why everyone is stealing his designs for d**k and Jason in their shows and movies. xd

OK, if we're talking about Robins, I have to say this; - d**k had issues in the costume department early on [those who disagree, I give you...campy disco crimefighter! ] - Jason...personally, a fan of the old Red Hood outfit. He gave me a reason to fear Bikers. Loved the movie. - Steph, Tim, can't comment - Damian has issues I like the way, in the cartoon, they do the opposite to people's thoughts and put the new DC character in charge. Not only does it provide a new spin, but Robin can no longer be accused of favouritism if he decides to try to hit on the new Ms Martian (hell, I know KF was! Although I think SB could be a winner there). Interesting concept for Superboy by the way...I think that should be the first arc! Much like in the 'Independence Day' Young Justice ep.

Yeah, that sounds cool. If we do a Superboy arc, I'd love to play him. I mean... I'm already 3/4 of the way through an Impulse profile, but I still kind a wanna play Superboy. Can't choose... Who do we need the most? And if someone else wants one of them that's fine too.

Well I was thinking for the first arch we do something simple like foil one of Luthors plans. The next arch would be Apokolipse- 1st off world Mission with Kara MIA. Next would be something to do with the Ocean, Something in Gotham, then something in Coast City. I would like us jumping about so we can keep busy.
And as for Leader..
I was thinking they would take turns.. Or say a monthly Rotation so everyone has the oportunity to lead and not have favoritism.
Canary in the mix would be great.. We are going to have some Cross over action so be prepared. smile

I already know that I've gotta portray him as a leather-jacketed badboy. He's gonna be like Superboy's twin brother who was neglected. XP As with all my characters there exists the potential for good. But... he's very angry currently.
If we get a Wonder Girl, that's when he might consider changing his ways. He's a lone wolf, babeh! But she can tame his restless heart!
Hell, what if Match actually stood in for Superboy? He's a precise duplicate and the same problems afflict him as do Superboy. But then again, he has other problems too. Where Superboy might be naturally accepted as 'Superman's son' or something, Match isn't really anything. Maybe Superboy's brother? Hell, he might actually call him brother, like Liquid always did to Solid. XP I think that's pretty cool.
I dunno, maybe I'm drawn to monsters. I definitely get a Frankenstein vibe from Match though, so I wanna play that up. He does bad things because nobody accepts him.

I'm gonna chronicle the change too, I've decided. He begins as a functional clone, and THEN begins to deteriorate. He slowly gets weaker and weaker. He'll also start off very brilliant, but then slowly begin to lose all of that.
It's the angstiest thing ever. He loses his powers, loses his mind, and he can't stop it. He's scared and all alone. Everyone wants him dead just because he exists.
....Is this a little too much for the rp?

What I don't get is why you don't just do Superboy like that. We've all reinvented our characters slightly anyway, and you've said it yourself he is a flawed copy of Superman anyway... Why do I suddenly get the feeling that we're looking at another Bizarro?
Anyway, since there hasn't been a Superboy in the game why not just make your character Superboy and throw in all the quirks you want.
Babs wants a Luthor adventure, others want a sups rescue adventure, so why not mix 'em. I mean Luthor did build Superboy in the comics, so why not have Stray's breakdown being a result of Luthor's tinkering. Maybe he was trying to remove the Kryptonite weakness or something, I don't know. That's just my two cents.
As for leader, I think Robin became leader initially because they couldn't trust anyone else to do the job. I'm kind of happy with the whole friends just hanging out thing, but I don't like the idea of having a 'leader roulette' ... although now I've said it it sounds like the wacky stunt that's both fun and unique. "Who will lead this week? Let's play who wants to be a legionnaire!" xp
