”This is your commanding officer Roku, we’ve got permission to encounter the invaders with force! I repeat all shinobi engage in battle!” Roku and his squad quickly leapt from the rocky structures only to rush towards the beaches of Kumogakure. Suddenly two other squadrons appeared on either side of Roku’s. They would over power the Kirigakure shinobi and capture them, injure them if needed. ”In the name of Kumogakure stay where you are intruders! We have you surrounded and will use force if need be! State your reason for being here or you’ll be killed!” Roku’s hands were flared up with red lightning as others from Kumogakure had lightning blades and claws of all sorts of weaponry. ”hmmm they don’t seem like much, do they Roku...” Roku tisked in response. ”don’t underestimate them Kumi... they might be using disguises or something.. not to mention I don’t care how small they are.... they’re trespassing on our territory!” the Kumogakure shinobi held their offense waiting for a reply from the unknowingly genin in which they’ve ambushed all the while Aizen was peacefully pass the boarders and onto the road of no return. Kumi couldn’t help but notice how shocked the group was... it was rather unusual for such expressions. ”So tell us... why are you here and what are your intentions.... my lover boy Roku doesn’t like his patients to be tested now.. speak up before one of you die...And when you speak up... do it in a fashionable manner... I refuse to be yelled at by such degenerates." a third figure appeared from the rock structures as he seemed annoyed by this all. "Why don't we just kill them and be done with it already..." Kumi looked over to the shinobi and chuckled. "oh gray, you're always so dark minded... we need to at least find out why they're here... but even if they tell us we might just kill them after words... Oops did I just say that out loud... I'm sorry it slipped." Roku simply spoke up one last time. "Enough... let's hear it or you all die...last time I'm going to ask..."

~*[( Everyone who posts following from the Mist Team: Though I have no authority over what you do, I'd appreciate it if you continued to post from the time you left the ship, as to fill in the story of what we all did from landing up until being confronted by the Shinobi from Lightning Country. It's only proper to cover what happened on our characters' ends up to that point and the posts are ever increasingly valuable to us as exp. A side note to further add that we need to add to the story. When I left off, I was walking next to Novvus on the docks and it was still day-time. We were all going to gather apparently. Zeru wasn't even off the boat yet! We need to slow it down and actually give an idea of what progressed from boat to camp and then from camp to being confronted. )]*~

Novvus tended to the fire as the others disembarked from the ship and made their way to the campsite. Night had fallen and the first few stars were beginning to appear. A voice caused the dark-skinned boy to look over his shoulder. It was Takera who was inquiring about the the following order of business, that being preparing for the upcoming battle. Novvus smiled. "First we get situated. After that we will discuss our battle plans as a team." He paused, then added, "As long as the Aburame isn't around to obtain any info, we shoulf be fine." A cold wind caused Novvus to look up. The Aburame was now disembarking from the boat and overseeing their tasks. "Speak of the Devil and he shall come..." he muttered as the treasonous genin arrived at the campsite. ”I’ll go ahead to find food, it should take me a little bit to get some resources.” he said after some time and and ran off in the direction of an outcrop of rocks. Novvus eyed the Aburame suspiciously, taking note of the direction the treasonous shinobi was traveling.
Oh, no you don't! he thought, You aren't getting away from me that easily! The dark-skinned boy left the fire and went into Kaji's tent. The feral boy was snoring uproariously and smelled like liquor, but Novvus didn't dwell on it for too long. Let me see where he's truly heading... He weaved a few hand seals, ending with his left hand in the ram seal. Novvus sent ice chakra into his finger tips, then drew them over his left eye, creating a rectangular lens that ended over his ear and secured it in place. Next he created a disk-shaped ice mirror which he levitated using airbending. With a smile, he linked the receiver to the mirror and closed his right eye. The dark-skinned boy saw his head as it was through the scouter he had created. Maneuvering the mirror around the tent, he could see what was going on real-time. He could see Kaji sprawled on his bedding. Making the mirror slip unnoticed through the tent flap, the others were visible doing their business around the camp. The only draw-back was that he had not been able to get an audio feed from his creation, but to Novvus it did not matter. As long as he could see what that suspicious Aburame was truly up to, all was fine.
Satisfied with his test run, Novvus propelled his spyglass toward the rocky outcrop the Aburame had gone to. From the air, Novvus could see that the terrain of Lightning Country was very rocky, almost mountainous. The rocks shone with a dull silver under the moonlight. It was a few minutes before the disk was close enough to capture the Aburame in its field of vision. He was traveling at a speed that amazed Novvus, who tilted the mirror to check the trajectory of the Aburame's path. There was a forest up ahead, but not as dense as the ones in Water Country. Where does he think he's going? thought Novvus with a frown, He must be at least two and a half miles away. After a quick stop to rehydrate himself from a small creek, the Aburame continued forward and subsequently entered the thin forest. It was not hard to keep track of the Aburame's progress through the forest, so Novvus kept the spyglass above the trees.
What happened next caught the dark-skinned boy off guard. The Aburame used vanished and reappeared behind a Kumogakure ninja, no doubt part of a reconnaissance cell, knocked him out and reappeared behind another. Novvus activated the telescope mode of the spyglass to get a better look at the situation. There was a short exchange between the two, then the captured Kumo shinobi backed off and shot a flare into the air. The projectile traveled too fast to be able to evade. It exploded a few feet below the spyglass, which sent a blinding flash of red into the dark-skinned boy's left eye.
Novvus whispered a curse, taking off the scouter and massaging his eye for a few seconds. It took all of his concentration to keep the disk airborne. Novvus blinked experimentally, and once he was sure his eye was troubling him no more he put on the scouter and gasped. The scene was now empty. He swiveled the spyglass until he caught movement a few meters ahead. The dark-skinned boy maneuvered the spyglass until he could see the Aburame again, but this time he was not alone. A stronger-looking Cloud-nin was now blocking his path. They had a short conversation, followed by the Cloud-nin speaking into a communication device and letting the Aburame through.
"No....no!" whispered Novvus as he swiveled the spyglass to see where the traitor was going. In the distance he could only see a white haze. When he swiveled the camera back to face the scene below. The Cloud-nin had now sped off in the direction that the Aburame had come. "s**t!!" Novvus disintegrated his spyglass and scouter and ran out into the camp. "That b*****d Aburame sent the Cloud ninja after us! They should be here any-" He was cut off by the sound of a man hiding in the rocks. Novvus was forced to remain still, like everyone else. Once they were prompted to speak, Novvus turned his head in the direction of the voice.
"Sir, we have been sent here to recover three rogue ninja from our village, and our intentions are to reclaim them and bring them back. We did not mean to trespass across your borders, but we have intel that they are hiding in Frost Country. The quickest way there would be to pass through here. There was one among us who has been exhibiting treasonous behavior, for he has been expressing a desire to converse with the rogue ninja we are pursuing. He abandoned us and continued on his own, thus making him a rogue as well. All we wish is to do is pass through the border, capture the traitors, and bring them back to Water Country." Novvus tried to swallow the knot that had formed in his throat. It was impossible for them to win against so many trained ninja, and he hoped that his speech was enough to allow them to pass unhindered.

kuro’s facial expression was less enthusiastic as his direct orders were to secure the Mist shinobi. ”Well I’ll give you credit kid... it’s very convincing but we of Kumo don’t take things so lightly...You’re being detained and brought to our commanding officer, He’ll decide if you pass or not.” Kuro’s bright red hair swayed between the winds as his yellow eyes pierced those of the Genin. He stood approximately five foot six inches and he was very fit He wore a white jumpsuit, Kumi was a slender yet bustful woman for her age; although, she indeed did have looks that killed. Long brown hair with cherry red lips, she stood around five foot four inches and wore a Japanese dress. Gray was the tallest of the three standing a solid six foot five inches, he wore robes in which covered most of his body. ”Oh looks like the boy was a bit impatient and didn’t want us showing up... what a pity.” Gray seemed to growl at the pest intruders he didn’t like new people in fact he usually killed them. ”You’ll be lucky if you don’t see what my babies can do to your bodies... eaten alive only to cry out in pain and agony as I was in delight...Mmmm.... yummy...” A com-link opened on Kuro’s end as he spoke up in response. ”yes, sir! we have the shinobi detained at the moment, they’re apparently after three rogue shinobi... that includes the informant...” crackling noises were made and finally a voice spoke from the com-link. ”I was warned about something like this happening.. disarm them and bring them to the village... I’ll have to talk to them myself...someone isn’t telling the truth...for I didn’t sense the informant telling any Lie... could he have used specific words in which to tune my senses out...” The com-link ended and with a sound of the mouth Kuro’s hands came up once more in lightning. ”Disarm them... and then we’ll be headed up to the village...You‘ll obtain your weapons when all of this is sorted out...Until then you are our very watched guests, try anything suspicious and we won‘t hesitate to kill you on spot...don‘t try to escape either... Gray loves to hunt his food...” Gray couldn’t help but laugh at the joke. ”Quite literally indeed!” a long pale tongue escaped from Grays robes only to be sucked back into his hidden mouth. Kumi walked forward and waved her hands in front of the Kiri ninja. ”Be still wouldn’t want to shock your precious little faces.... Metal attraction jutsu!” suddenly the jutsu would no doubt suck all of the metallic weapons and the sorts from their pockets and put them in the possession of Kumi. ”now.... up into the forest and then onto the mountain where you’ll be held until we contact your village...”
Within the forest Vex seemed puzzled at his lost efforts in which to sense a detections of a lie from the informant. It was odd, could both parties be telling the truth... or possibly could the informant have some type of way with dealing with situations to make it all workout... ”Damn.... just what the hell is going on tonight...” Vex stated to himself just before heading to the meeting spot to meet up with Kuro, Kumi, and Gray.

Zeru was so excited to be back on land and this land was so different, the land was rocky and solid like a mountain accept everywhere. Zeru smiled as he looked around at the natives and smirked, he was still very careful to hide the fact that he was blind and he made sure not to move his head to often, he picked up a small chunk of land and felt it between his finger's with a grin he loved it already. Zeru then quickly followed his brother after Novvus, but he said nothing he simply enjoyed the sights as he walked behind them, he found the people here interesting ti was different from Mist village, where it was basically nothing but fishermen, and such. Here people seemed different tougher exterior it seemed like. But then again every village had it’s own customs and traditions. Zeru wanted to wonder about and look at things but he knew he shouldn’t leave the group or his brother’s side at least for now. Then he followed the others to make camp, he helped them set up tents and make sure everything was correct. He smiled sitting by his brother. They where to a share a tent,. Which was not a big deal to Zeru they had shared things their entire life, in fact Zeru had very few things that belonged to just him, but the one he did have was his metal shoulder plate that he always kept on him and protected, it was the one piece of his family he had the one thing that reminded him where he came from. When the Aburame left Zeru didn't take much notice, he was just enjoying being in a land they had never visited before it was nice to see new places, he sat silent and contemplating what they would do next it was obvious the boy with the pale blue skin was the leader but he had yet to speak about a battle plan. Zeru hoped someone had some kind of plan. While he waited Zeru played with his hands forming seals, he couldn’t wait to test out some of the new jutsu he had developed, hopefully he would get to truly help out. Something else came to mind as he sat there, he had heard the fish boy yell that Aizen was their only medical ninja which was not true, Zeru was also trained in Medical jutsu, he smiled at the thought and stood to find their leader and inform him of that fact since he thought it would be very useful. Zeru was moving towards their leader when Novvus came into the camp and high speeds saying they had been betrayed, no sooner had the words left his lips, then had an entire squad of Lighting Ninja appeared and demanded their surrender, Zeru made sure to make no sudden movements or any at all, as they surround the small band of Genin. Zeru observed each of them, they all had very different personalities, a few of them seemed a little unstable, but then again their group was rather odd. and demanded many things, along with threatening their life's and accusing them of being there to start a war. Zeru was tempted to speak but Novvus attempted to explain Zeru thought he did a good job, until the Lighting Nin decided to take them prisoner until they could figure things out, Zeru felt anything metal on them start to float from the magnet jutsu, that's when Zeru decided it was his turn to speak, the first thing he did was he placed his right hand on his shoulder plate to keep it from moving, he held it tight he was not about to let them take it. "A bit of a rash decsion. I guess you guys where not taught manner’s, we have paper's that allow us to travel through this land into frost, it also states that we are after rouge ninja's apparently they will need to be amended and add another ninja, but I think you'll find they are in order, of coarse we will be more than willing to show them to you captain as well." Zeru stated as he produced the papers from his bag, and extended them towards Kuro, since he seemed to be the one in charge. Zeru was pretty angry at this point but he had always been one to keep his cool under pressure. However in his mind he was imaging burying Aizen alive and leaving him there. He still made sure to keep the image that he was blind but if they pulled of the bandages he would have to reveal the truth. Zeru waited patiently for them to take the papers, which would prove that they where there to do what they said, and the papers where indeed real, he wondered why none of the others had said anything about it. He hoped this would help things go smoothly as they had some hot tempered members of their group and they did not need an bigger mess to clean up. [42 lines] Quote: ssA: Burn. Takera continued walking with Novvus for a while, but Novvus didn't respond to him. What's the deal? Takera thought to himself. He was somewhat hurt by this, but decided to leave it be as they were new and Novvus had no obligation to speak to Takera. Once they had reached the camp, Takera began helping with the tents along side his brother and then collected wood for the fire as well as cutting 1 tree down, to which he cut long ways and down at the center of it's length going width-wise. He placed the halves in a box around the fire with some distance from the fire as a place for everyone to sit.
Aizen had given his line and took off. Novvus rose from his spot rather quickly and began doing something. Takera was intrigued as he didn't know Aizen, but Novvus was intent on staring in that direction via the ability he brought forth. After a while Novvus had flinched and began tending to his eye. It was clear something happened, but he didn't speak up. Instead he took a quick look around the camp simply turning his head and remaining silent. After a while Novvus busted out telling the camp that Aizen betrayed them, but as it stood, they were caught.
Takera stood up quickly, but the ninja had them surrounded. Novvus proceeded to explain the situation to the foul-mouthed ninja, but he wouldn't have it. Once the ability of magnetism started, He noticed his brother holding onto the armor on his shoulder and began explaining that they had paper and that the Lightning Ninja could do very little more than to take them to their captain before letting us go. Just then, however, Takera felt a tugging sensation. It was his weighted vest. It was almost like close-knit chainmail with sturdy thread woven in to look like an average vest.
The vest began tugging Takera forward sharply, lifting him off his feet for a second before he touched back down landing forward on his knees. The vest had tried to pull free of Takera sliding over his head and down his arms. The vest had turned itself rightside out. Takera held both hands together inside the vest cuffing them together in refusal of the Lightning Ninja's commands and efforts. The crest on the back on the vest was now displaying itself openly floating in the air as Takera rose back to his feet. The crest was that of the Uchiha. Takera pulled the vest back to his chest and proceeded to take a few steps back resisting the magnetic pulls and focusing his chakra in his feet to keep himself in place. "You won't take this from me. If you touch it, you'll regret it."

Hibiki and Kuro slowly followed the other as he made minuscule observations upon the new country. The ground wasn't soggy, swampy, marshy, or squishy, it was hard as a rock. Probably because the area was mostly mountains and valleys. Well duh, The Inuzuka scorned mentally, The Village Hidden in the Cloud was named that because it is placed high on a mountaintop... His demeanor just grew bitter from there on out. Between everyone feeling tense, Kaji's alcoholic tendencies was getting on his nerves fast. Every time Kaji even took a breath of air, Hibiki shot him a glare that would make a kage drop dead from the intensity. That wasn't the only thing intense around the group, it seemed like everyone was sobering up to the fact that they are about to face the missing nin, or at least they were all trying to distract themselves from it one way or another. Even Hibiki and Kuro felt a bit glum, although, maybe it was just them feeling the despair?
Either way, it wasn't long until they began to set up camp since nightfall had, well, fallen. The intoxicated Kaji finally passed out, and awoken a while later to help set things up a bit, before trying to sleep off his hangover in his own tent. As soon as the Wolf Boy left, Hibiki grabbed the bottle of whiskey and ferociously threw it into the fire, making the flame bounce a bit higher. "Putrid scum." He muttered under his breath, but not before Kuro heard it and whined slightly. Novvus disappeared shortly after into his own tent while the others seemed to be mind their own business, in fact, the Aburame left altogether. Leave the last five to themselves. "So Kyu, I expect you have a..." He was cut-off almost immediately as Novvus, who had slipped away without Hibiki noticing, had informed them of the Aburame's treason.
On cue, they were instantly swarmed by large group of Kumo Nin. Out of instinct, Kuro transformed into the replica of Hibiki as they stood back to back, scanning their enemies. They demanded that they tell them of their intentions, or various things would happen to them, including death, maiming, and humiliation. Hibiki's morbid mind began to twist a dark prediction of what each Kumo Shinobi's body looked like after he maimed them while Novvus told them everything. The Commander decided that it was still too fishy and had a comrade of his take away all their weapons via magnetism. As soon as the jutsu was activated, all of the psuedo-twins kunai, shuriken, and other metallic ninja tools and traps began to fly right out of their ninja pouches and backpacks. At first, Hibiki didn't care, but he saw that his flute was also following the trail of metal items and began to swipe at it in mid-air. However, the jutsu was too strong for such a little object, "My flute!" He cried out loud as he took a few steps forward.
The Vupine duo thought it would be best to let their comrades do most of the talking, however, his patience was obviously left back at Kiri, "You of Kumo don't take things lightly, yet you'll accept information from a Hidden Mist Traitor on a whim? Of course he'd say something to rile you up, he wants nothing to do with us and is only trying to get in our way. The Missing Nin we are trying to capture destroyed most of our village, what makes you think they won't attack Kumo? Now, if you let us go on our merry way, we will capture the infidels and Kumo won't be struck down like Kiri was. I mean, its all logical, right?" He half-whine, half-barked, with Kuro nodding beside him. "See, we're doing both our countries a favor. They are hostile and need not be within your county, and we want them contained back in our. If you wish to slow us down by bringing in us for questioning, so be it." And with that, he flung his hands up in the air, as if he was being robbed.

Kaji awoke to shouting and yelling which caused his head to throb. He saw that the others were being detained by cloud ninja. He heard that the aburame had betrayed the mist village and let out a quiet growl. "This complicates things." He thought to himself. He and Kurosai shape shifted into animals native to the region and silently circled his team mates waiting for a signal from Kyu. The feral boy swore to himself that he was going to rip a hole in the traitorous aburame for delaying his efforts to save his family. His chakra started to flare up and he quickly move out of detection range. Kurosai also let out an angry growl, as the pair continued to circle the cloud ninja. With the situation looking grim The feral boy decided to flee the scene and shape shifted into a bird. One of the cloud ninja chased after him and Kaji decided to have a little bit of fun. He sent out a sharp jolt of lighting through on of his tail feathers and temporarily knocked the ninja unconscious. No physical harm was done to the ninja but Kurosai and Kaji were able to escape and follow the aburame's scent trail towards the land of frost. The feral duo kept within range of the rest of their team and circled in the air waiting for them to escape as well.

Kyu left the ship. As awful as it was that Kaji was drinking, it seemed to soothe the savage beast inside him. From there, Kyu spent the rest of the day at work. While the others chatted or got drunk (thanks to the whiskey-passing crew), and set up camp outside of the port town, and the sun began to set, Kyu spent his time working and reworking his plans for the upcoming battle in privacy. Since Kaji seemed harmless at this point, there was no reason to watch him, but little did he know... Kaji wasn't the one to be worrying about.
From his thinking spot at the top of a tree, Kyu heard some of the conversations below. Novvus was waiting with Takeru about how the fish-ninja would be passing along his plan after the camp was fully set up. However, Novvus had his doubts. He didn't want the Aburame to be in on the plans. Like Novvus, Kyu had doubts about the boy. He didn't seem to agree with the village's ways, nor the mission. He wasn't cooperative, and didn't even follow the order to help the innocent man who Kaji hurt. Kyu pulled down his facemask, and bit his right index fingernail nervously. "Where would I put him? I can't trust him to keep our disguises or cover... He'll give us away to speak with the twins... If I give him a forward position, he might speak with them, and turn on us. Worse yet, we have weaker genin on the team, that could die if he and the twins were to aim their attacks at them... He might spill our strategies in combat as well. A leak like that could spoil even the best plan."
Kyu heard an all-too-familiar voice below. Aburame say that he was going to find food and resources. He smiled lightly, and said, "You know what? Maybe he's coming around. If he keeps this up... Maybe we'll come to an agreement, and everything will be okay." However, Novvus didn't seem to think so. He trailed the Aburame into the woods. Kyu frowned, "Wait... He doesn't think... He wouldn't..." Kyu began to sweat, "No... He wouldn't set us up, would he?"
Novvus dashed into camp, scared as hell, yelling that Aizen had reported the group to the Cloud ninja. The shark ninja put up his face mask and gripped the tree below him. He slid around the branch he was on so he was free-hanging from it, then backflipped off the large branch. He fell through several meters of leaves and branches to land on the ground gracefully. Just as Novvus finished his sentence, a Kuro ninja came onto the scene. Kyu was kicking himself, he should have stayed in the tree!
Novvus explained their actions and motives, remarkably not spilling anything too serious. He conversed with them, explaining that the group only wanted to pass through momentarily so they could catch up to the rogue ninja and return them to Water Country. Although he spoke with confidence, Novvus was extremely nervous; it was pretty clear to Kyu.
These ninja were strange and bloodthirsty it seemed, probably more so than many of the ninja he'd met in Kirigakure. Kyu could only imagine that they hadn't had many invaders lately. The ninja didn't buy Novvus's plea, not right away at least. Instead, they decided that they'd have to talk to the group.
Suddenly, they were being disarmed by a powerful magnetism. Some of the team tried to grab for their stolen items, but the silent Kyu allowed his shuriken and kunai to fly out of their holders. They simply weren't worth fighting for. However, the loss of Hibiki's flute set off a trigger inside the fox-genin.
Kyu grimaced, Hibiki began to spill classified information right before his eyes. However, before he could stop him, he leaked out several facts about them. Now Kuro knew that Kiri was weak. Now Kuro knew that, if they attacked, they could overwhelm the weakened Mist Village. Kyu gritted his teeth, and slid his hand into his pocket subtly. There's no time for this. I need to take hold of the situation! His fingers wrapped themselves around two of his smokebombs, and he pulled his hand out of his pocket just as secretly. The twin eggshell bomb was in his hands now, and he just needed the right moment, when the wind was the slowest.
From there, he would create a distraction, a fire, and make their escape. He waited, peering around at the ninja, and catching sight of Kaji in the trees. The wind gusted violently from the nearby sea, then began to die down until it was simply a light draft.
With a swift motion, Kyu flicked the bomb out of his hands and in between the group of Cloud ninja and his group of Mist Ninja. Kyu acted his way into sounding scared, "It's the traitor! Scatter!" In the cloud, he dropped his second smokebomb, which exploded with thick black smoke, and expanded the cloud. Kyu dashed away from the clearing and to the tree he had come down from. He dashed up its side, and made a quick handseal. Fire flicked on at his fingertip, and he lit a few of the branches on fire. With a careful jump, he got to the next tree and repeated the action. In only moments, the first tree was up in roaring flames, and was passing it on to the others.
Kyu grinned, and muttered, "This should hold them up..." His voice changed to a yell as he fell to the ground, "Men! Follow my voice! He's set up firebombs to slow us down! We must regroup!" Kyu backed into the forest a ways, and continued to yell out calls for his team. Once he had a head count, they could make their way to the border, and cross it before the situation got worse.

Rinku yawned as the group began to set up camp. He helped with some small things and when it was all over he went to rest underneath a tree. He pulled out his empty bottle from his satchel and sighed as there was hardly even a drop of milk left. He tossed the bottle a side and stared at the grass. The drunk ninja seemed to be calm which was a rarity and it seemed the team was no longer fighting. It also appeared as if the Aburame was finally going to make himself useful and get some food. Rinku smiled Now that’s more like it… bout time this team started to work more smoothly. Rinku got up. Some of the shinobi rested and others left in search for food. Rinku figured the most helpful thing he could do right now was to not suck when the time was right. He got into a stance and practiced his movements. He swung making large crushing attacks in the air. Rinku focused hard and turned and smashed a tree so hard he almost put a hole in it. “GAH!” Rinku said as his fist lodged itself in the mighty trunk. “What the-“ Rink tried to pull his hand loose. Rinku wasn’t even aware he could hit that hard. He put one leg up on the trunk and kicked himself loose from the tree. As he sat on the ground he looked at his hand. “God dammit… I can’t even practice without screwing up…” Rinku dragged himself up and dusted himself off as he continued to practice, this time making quicker strikes with less power. Suddenly Novvus dashed in saying Aizen had set them up. Rinku’s eyes widened. “Wh-what!?!” Before he knew it a small group of cloud shinobi had forced their way into the camp. Rinku stayed still and silent as the strange ninja seemed to jump the gun on what the mist ninja were up to. Novvus spoke up and tactfully gave them the necessary information while Zeru backed them up. Suddenly a magnetism justsu was activated. Many tools began to fly into the shinobi’s hands, most except for Rinku, who had not a single metallic thing on his person, no ninja tools or metal heirlooms, he was only aware of its activation when other metal objects including Hibiki’s flute flew away. Hibiki, most likely angered about his flute, spoke in a tone of forced calmness with Kuro angrily at his side. Rinku was angry too, This Aizen guy sure picked his moments. This was the last thing this team needed on this mission. He was hoping that the cloud ninja would see the papers and simply turn the other way. However Kaji, at the last minute transformed and made a jolt for it, knocking out one of the ninja. Rinku gritted his teeth as he got into a stance. Great… that makes us the enemies now… But before much more could happen smoke filled the area. He heard a voice yell, but he couldn’t quite make it out in the commotion. He coughed no longer able to see clearly he felt around. He heard a voice similar to Kyu’s calling out to the team. Rinku jumped out of the smoke and landed on a sturdy branch. He used his arm to rub his eyes which stung from the smoke. Onl to open them to see more smoke, he had landed on a tree that was covered in flames. The branch he was on snapped and he jumped to dodge the crash, but hit the ground hard. Rinku opened his eyes again. The ground in the land of clouds were so hard compared to mists. He sat up straight. His leg had broken from the crash. He pulled up his pant leg and winced at the pain a little. He heard more shouts from Kyu. Rinku detected the direction Kyu was calling from and hoped that the cloud ninja would be incapable of the same, he was sure the fire must have been set as a distraction. Using his power over his bones he was able to mend his broken bone into a mildly sprained one. He sighed in relief at the absence of pain and got back to his feet. He ran till he found an area with trees not in flames and hoped using his right leg to land first and kick off to allow his left to recover. If he stayed in the trees as stealthily as he could the cloud ninja could not normally follow him. Rinku listened to hear Kyu’s call again. Once he had detected it he had just about caught up, landing on a branch near Kyu he gave him a thumbs up to let him know that he was ok, he didn’t want to make any more noise to avoid being detected by the enemies. Rinku awaited the rest as he kept his eyes peeled for the Kuro ninja who were hopefully far off their trail.

After he had explained their current position, it seemed as if the Cloud-nin were going to let them pass, but things got hectic fast. One of the Jounin barring their path used a magnetic attraction technique that disarmed the team of any ninja tools. Zeru and Takera fought against the strong attraction, saving their shoulder plate and vest respectively. Hibiki's flute and Kyu's ninja tools were the only things that got caught in the technique. Novvus himself didn't carry any metals on his person so only the cool evening breeze stirred his clothes. It wasn't right for the Cloud-nin to disarm them! thought the dark-skinned boy hotly, We haven't shown any hostility yet- Before he could finish his train of thought, a sound from within the tent reached his ears. Kaji had come. Novvus shifted his gaze toward the feral duo as they meta-morphed into birds. He cursed to himself as one of the Cloud-nin decided to follow the disguised Kaji, and groaned in dismay as the latter struck the ninja unconscious with a jolt of electricity. " Never mind..." he sighed submissively to himself. Not even the papers that Zeru had brandished would help at this point. Novvus noticed Kyu hanging from a nearby tree. At the fish-like boy did nothing. After a strong breeze coming from the sea subsided, Kyu threw a smoke bomb into the midst of the Cloud-nin and began making an improvised diversion. Subsequently he popped a second smoke bomb into the center of the first's radius which increased the affected area. " Kyu, you're a genius!" whispered Novvus excitedly. The dark-skinned boy dashed up to the perimeter of the black cloud, from which he could here coughing and gagging. He took a deep breath, holding the air within his lungs and imbuing it with ice chakra, then breathed out a steady stream of wispy vapor. Waving his arms in circular patterns, Novvus mixed his icy vapor with the smoke from Kaji's bombs. The result was a sooty substance that floated heavily in midair. " It's about time you guys left us alone." Novvus separated the heavy substance into five portions that would cover an adult-sized head. He span on the ball of his left foot and unleashed a kick with his right leg into the middle of the smoke cloud so that a corridor of clean air exposed the Cloud-nin. Before they had time to react, Novvus launched the wet soot clouds at each of their heads and froze it solid. He watched as the Cloud-nins clawed at the slippery substance that encased their heads. The woman's magnetic control faltered and the objects she had attracted fell in a heap. " Swift!" the muscles in his legs activated their potential, and he was able to retrieve Hibiki's flute as well as Kyu's weapons. Now to get the hell out of this damn place. Those helmets of mine wont hold them for long... Putting everything into his pack, Novvus dashed out of the corridor of smoke and sealed it around the Cloud-nin. Looking around, he found Takera, Zeru, and Hibiki standing nearby. " Guys, c'mon! I suppressed them for a little while so we should put as much distance between ourselves and the Cloud shinobi." He took off towards the direction Kyu's voice was coming from, beckoning to the other three to follow. The dark-skinned boy ran into a wall of heat which nearly suffocated him. The surrounding trees were on fire, casting a dull orange glow to show through the undulating gray smoke. Looking around and keeping his head below the smoke, Novvus saw that only the upper sections of the surrounding trees were affected. He crouched low and dashed, turning around midway to instruct the others to do the same. After avoiding the section of burning forest, Novvus spotted Rinku and Kyu in the trees. Kaji and Kurosai circled as birds overhead. Once the group had congregated, the dark-skinned boy dug into his bag, returning the flute to Hibiki and the weapons to Kyu. He gave them a chance to catch their breaths, then went on to address the team. " It is too dangerous to stay here any further, now that that traitor Aburame has turned the Land of Lightning against us. While i was tracking his movements, i learned where the border to Frost Country is situated. It is a few miles southwest of our current position." Novvus pointed in the direction of their destination. " We have taken way too long to get here and i believe it's unwise for us to delay any longer." He turned as if to go. " We can devise a battle plan once we are safely across the border. Let's go hunt down those god-forsaken terrorists and that traitor!" At first Novvus began traveling at a slow pace, but it slowly quickened into a well-balanced dash. The dark-skinned boy controlled his pace so that the others could easily fall in line with him. After about an hour of travel, the air began to become colder and his breath became clearly visible the further they went. Novvus descended from the trees and gazed at the ground. A thin layer of snow blanketed the path and trees ahead, and got noticeably deeper down the road. A set of fresh footprints disrupted the even coat of frost on the ground and continued for a few yards before the elements erased the trail. " Well guys, this is it. Before we continue, i would ask that if you have any wishes to turn back, to do so now. If you have none, let us travel together into the Land of Frost." Novvus made a few steps forward and turned around waiting for those who would make their choices. After their choices were made, they would walk into the land of snow and finally begin their search. After regaining his composure, Takera quickly turned the vest inside out, but did so carefully as so he wouldn't lose his grip on it. Luckily for him everyone had been so pre-occupied that no one noticed the crest that was previously shown on his vest. He did his best to keep the crest hidden. He noticed the flute fly by out of the corner of his eye. Takera reached for it, hoping to keep it away from the Kumo Ninja, but he fell short as he wasn't quite capable of moving freely with his vest being strongly tugged out with the magnetism. If he had tried to go forth enough to grab the vest, he might've been pulled off his feet again and potentially lost his vest. "Damn. I couldn't get it." Takera whispered to himself. He looked back toward Hibiki and tried to move a bit further from the magnetism as to weaken it by moving farther than it's radius, but just then smokebombs went off.
Takera turned back to see Novvus blowing out what seemed to be mist. He watched as Novvus performed. Takera was entrigued with Novvus's abilities. He watched as Novvus had effectively dropped the ninja that had tried to detain them. When the magnetism cut, Takera snapped out of it and realized they had to go and quick. He immediately threw the vest over his head and wore it inside out as he had done prior. Novvus ran by telling them to move, but Takera had already turned as he ran past and began running himself.
Takera had run close by to Novvus for a while before he had passed through the wall of heat. Dazed by the pounding heat he had choked to a degree and dropped to his knees for a second. After catching himself he continued to press forward as best he could before he had come across Rinku who had been tending to a wound. In his state of panic he rushed up to Rinku as fast as he could, but Rinku had made it to his feet. "Are you alright?" Takera said kind of loudly. "Let me help you." He grabbed Rinku's arm and slung it over his shoulder helping him to keep the weight off of his leg. He had helped him up until they reached Kyu. Stubbornly he had thought Rinku needed his help at the time, but now free of the fire, he had realized Rinku seemed to be just fine.
Takera had lost himself in thought for a moment remembering what Novvus was capable of. I need to get stronger.. much stronger. Snapping out of it, he had moved forward towards those who had been regrouping and found their way to Kyu. After hearing Novvus speak, he set out with the group towards the border. Upon reaching the border and the team haulting. Takera had watched as Novvus turned and consulted the group. Turn back? After all of this. Even if it were possible, no one with any sense of pride would back down now. Not after everything that's happened. Takera thought to himself as the words rung through his head. Takera stepped forth immediately without much more thought into the matter. "I won't back down. We came here to accomplish something important for the sake of Kirigakure. I'm not a coward and I refuse to be brandished as one, so lead the way." Takera confidently spoke his mind before following Novvus into the snowy land that was unknown to him.

Kuro growled slightly at Hibiki as he released some sensitive information out of anger. The fox knew that the boy wanted to mock them somehow, but it just made him look stupid, and telling the Inuzuka that he had failed that would clearly just make him angrier. With a quick side glance, they both noticed the hungover Inuzuka who immediately took flight with some weird jutsu that shape shifted him into an avian. Hibiki glared at him again as he shocked a pursuer. There was a tense pause in the conversation as the wind blew by, making the Vulpine Duo's Kiri-camouflaged sweatshirts whip to one side as they stared down the Kumo ANBU. As the wind died down, someone released a couple of smoke bombs and Kyu yelped in surprise about 'the traitor'. Closing his eyes out of instinct, the world around him seemed to fill in with color, from the various chakra scents he was picking up. He could see a multitude of color rushing around in chaos, as a fire came to life in a few of the trees in the area.
Hibiki, filled with a vengeful anger, dashed towards one of the ANBU that were holding them up. Kuro wasn't fast enough to grab a hold of him this time, as the Flutist decided to punch one of the ANBU full on in the face before being half-dragged away by Kuro. "That's for being stupid!" He shouted in rage as he began to hightail it out of there, after Kyu's scent. Hibiki could 'see' that his scent was elevated, along with Rinku's, meaning that they were either on a large rock, or in a tree. Either way, he followed Novvus scent, avoiding the large fire that was no consuming part of the forest in the area.
After they met up, he was handed his flute, amongst his other weapons and traps that were attracted to the jutsu. It lessened his short-fused temperament a bit as his smile was now not so forced as it would have been. Pointing in the direction of the Land of Frost, Novvus led the group through the rest of Lightning Country. While most of the group took towards the trees to stay out of the snow that began to form, Hibiki and Kuro stayed on the ground. It felt more natural to run on all fours while on the ground and not in the trees like some large monkey. At first, He was worried about leaving footprint behind, but thanks to the mountainous region, and the lack of snow on the ground in general, the path was rocky, and had a few spots of rock jutting out of the snow. If that wasn't the case, the snow was so 'messy' that no one could make out Hibiki and Kuro's footsteps anyways. Glancing at some of the other prints in the snow, the Inuzuka could tell that several deer, or rams, were in the area, along with foxes, rabbits, and some type of large prowling cat. Then again, there was barely a few inches on the ground, making most of the tracks hard to distinguish if you didn't know how to track to begin with.
The Vulpine Duo's breath came in short puffs due to the cold climate as the group stopped. Novvus told them it was now or never, except in a more formal way, "Don't you think if we wanted to back down, we would have done it before sailing over here? Turning back now would be both pointless and hazardous, since now we have Kumo on our tails." Meandering forward a bit, past Novvus, he began to sniff the ground excessively while Kuro mimiced him nearby, "Zese arrre zat Aburame's trrracks." The Transformed Vulpes said as he studied the fresh footprints. Hibiki continued on a few more paces before stopping to think. Hmm, there a few different scents around this area, but only that goddamn Aburame's sticks out the most. Kuro and I splitting up to follow different scents would be a bad idea. The enemy would love to divide and conquer us if possible...
"Alright my fellow comrades, here is how this is going to go. Since Aburame's scent is the freshest and therefore the easiest to track at the moment, we will try to follow him. It won't be any worse than trying to track the twins because he is trying to find them. So by fulfilling his own selfish needs, he is indirectly helping us. Got it?" And with that, Hibiki and Kuro dashed on past the group and into the weathered terrain. They weaved in and out of each other as they tracked his movement via smell, so that, if ambushed, not many people could tell the two apart unless they were very skilled to begin with. "If anyone does not trust my tracking, go ahead and try it yourself, but I am pretty confident in my ability." He growled as he continued to weave through the very deep snow.

Zeru gritted his teeth as he waited for the stubborn Ninja to inspect the paper's, but before they could Zeru heard a bit of commotion. Before he could react the area was filled with black smoke he felt the magnetism release on his shoulder plate and he looked around trying not to move his head to much as more smoke appeared in his vision he heard Kyu's voice over the commotion telling them to run, Zeru quickly turn stuffing the papers in his jacket as he bolted through the smoke screen, he was confused but he knew they needed to get away from the lighting ninja, he moved quickly trying not to breathe in the smoke. He heard his brother cough somewhere next to him, as he came out of the smoke he saw the blaze of fire and quickly moved through it, he could now see and he wasn't stopping as he followed Novvus. Towards the land of frost.
Zeru followed them quickly until they reached the border then Novvus gave his little speech, Zeru didn't say a word as he watch Hibiki, and Takera walk past the boarder with Novvus into the snow, Zeru was ready to explore more and see what they had come all this way for, plus he wanted to deal with Aizen, that traitor was not getting away with betraying them and feeding them to the lighting ninja. Obviously he wasn't very smart though since he had thought about he would have know that they would have papers saying they could pass through the boarder. Zeru followed Hibiki quietly as he walked next to his brother, he hoped the journey to their targets would be a little less crazy. He sighed and watched his breath appear, he was never a fan of snow, it was always cold and unfeeling, it always killed the land around it. But he would have to deal with it for now.

Kaji continued to circle over head as the smoke bomb went off, but he wasn't really paying attention to the commotion below. He was picturing all the different ways he could skewer, impale, and otherwise destroy the traitorous abruame b*****d. When the feral boy finally did land and shapeshift back Hibiki was in the middle of some kind of speech about his tracking. "I'll track him with my own nose thank you very much." Kaji said with a growl. He and Kurosai paced back and forth anxiously. They couldn't wait to get into battle and feel the warmth of fresh blood flowing over fur and skin. Kaji's charka cloak flared up violently as he began to pace faster. The feral boy also began to growl under his breath. "Leave that traitorous b*****d to me, he's mine." Kaji said with a very authoritative growl.
The feral boy thought back to his family and how they were being held captive, and how he was unable to help them until he finished this mission and a feral rage built inside of him and consumed his human side. The air around him crackled with lightning and he dashed off towards the border. He no longer cared about making this a peaceful mission and smashed through the border guard's post to get into the land of frost. He stopped and sniffed the air for the smell of insects., When he found the scent trail he followed it all the way to Aizen. "Get ready to die You b*****d. I'll kill you for your crimes, and for keeping me seperated from my family!" Kaji thought hatefully as he approached what he thought to be the traitorous bug user's position.
The snow melted as lightning arced from snowflake to snow flake. A heavy storm blew in with blizzard like conditions but The feral boy did not feel the sting of the arctic winds, nor did he hear it howl around him. The chakra cloak and his feral rage blocked out all sensations other than the urge to tear apart his prey one organ at a time. When he met the aburame in battle it would be the last fight for one of the two.
