Ren Coulter  "I'm currently in school at the moment and since I'm out of state, I figured I may as well get a house since being on campus can be quite boring most of the time. Mass Communications is things like journalism, broadcasting, etcetera."He had to wonder if she would then ask what those were. Things like that usually came up in his head. He wanted to know a few things about her as well. It did seem fair seeing as she was going to stay with him for a while. "Alright, so tell me a few things about yourself that you want me to know about you and I'll do the same."

As she sat there on the bed listening to him she gave small nods of her head to indicate that she was listening to what he was saying. "Oh, your in school? Are you taking classes or teaching them?" As he explained what Mass Communication was to her she hid her confusion about what it was. "Oh I see, do you enjoy doing those kinds of things?" When he asked to know things about her she got a little nervous but said softly to him. "Well, if you wish to know anything you may ask what you wish. I will try and answer your questions as well as I can."

Ren Coulter Ren thought of what to ask. He wasn't going to ask anything personal about her. At least he wasn't going to try to ask her anything that didn't seem personal or would offend her."I'm taking classes and sort of teaching some people. Yea, I like it. It actually will allow me to travel the world one day just as soon as I graduate in the next year or so. Anyway, what part of France are you from?" He decided on fixing some tea to drink. He was thirsty for some reason when he barely did anything for the day. Well the things he did to make sure his past didn't catch up with may have finally been taking its toll. He waited on what she would say before he did anything else.

A week later Ryssa was standing in the kitchen trying to make something for her and Ren to eat. She wasn't sure when he would be back, but she wanted to have something ready for him when he got back to the house. She had been trying to do what she could around the house, so she had been cleaning, cooking from time to time and paying rent with a few of her belongings. She moved about the kitchen preparing baked chicken flavored with nacho cheese as well as cook rice flavored with nacho cheese as well. "I wonder when Ren will be returning." Ryssa closed her eyes for a few seconds as she tried to take a few breaths. She would get the feeling like something bad was going to happen and when that happened she would start to get a little shaky. So she would take a few breaths to calm her body body down. "I wonder how the rebels are faring here? I feel so horrible for leaving my people but I couldn't marry that...thing...I just couldn't could I?" She asked herself before she shook her head and went back to making the food. Once it was done she plated the rice on a large plate and then cut the chicken up into small chunks and then put the chicken on top of the rice. She had already set the table with plates, utensils and glasses so all she had to do was put the large plate of food in the center of the table. Once that was done she grabbed up a glass and filled it with water and sipped on it as she sat at the table waiting for Ren to return.

Ren Coulter Ren was in school at the time. He was in and out. Mondays were his busiest days seeing as he had a majority of his classes on that day. He sighed as he was relieved that it was over with on that day. The next days were better for him. He wondered about Ryssa though. He had been with her, helping around and everything since he was on his break. He wondered about how she was doing now. Maybe she was out like she usually would be on certain days. There was nothing wrong with that. He understood as well. People have things to do. He climbed in the car, driving home slowly. Once he pulled in the driveway,e parked the car, turned off, and got out. He opened the door and walked in. He looked at everything that Ryssa had done so far."I see you had a busy day"he said as he walked off to set his things off on his bed. He walked out the room and sat in another chair."Everything alright? You just seemed bugged by something is all.

Ryssa had finished her glass of water by the time Ren had returned to the house. She gave him a small smile before he walked away to put his things in his room. "How was school? Things go alright?" At his comment she gave a small laugh as she nodded her head. She was finding out that she actually enjoyed caring for herself and others around her. She had never liked having people do everything she had said and was relived to finally be able to do things on her own. "It was busy but I enjoyed it." As he sat down in the chair at the table she smiled and served him some of the rice and chicken. She then served herself some as well and got up to refill her glass with water. As she sat back down and placed her glass on the table he asked if everything was alright. She gave him a slightly nervous smile as she nodded her head. "Y-Yes, everything is fine. Just missing my home and family is all." She hadn't told him that her whole family had been killed in a war between her planet and the one that was close to her's. She had just said that she hadn't been able to see them and would never be able to see them again. She was feeling as if something was going to happen but she didn't want to tell him that and then have to answer more questions that could lead to Ren finding out that she was not a human like him.

Ren Coulter Ren wasn't used to a person waiting on him a lot as well as serving him things. He usually had to do it all by himself. That didn't mean he wanted her to keep doing it all the time. He would do it as well. He ate some of the food and drunk some water. He looked at her at what she asked."Everything's great. Thank for cooking as well as cleaning up." He understood how she would feel about being homesick. He only used the house when he was at school. It belonged to one of his aunt's who used the place for vacations if she wanted to go sightseeing and stuff. He would go back home for the holidays, though/"I understand how hard it can be. Being far away from them and all. It was hard for me the first year." He had no idea that she was from another planet and that her family was dead. He just hoped that everything would be alright with her."Kind of odd though. I never met a person that actually enjoyed cleaning" he said chuckling, joking aroun.

Ryssa smiled to him and ate some of the food. She was slowly finding out that she actually liked it here. She liked it even more living in this house with Ren. "That is good to hear. Oh, there is no need to thank me dear. Its the least I could do since I don't seem to be able to find a job." She nodded slightly at his next statement as she took a sip of her water. And when he said that it was odd for her to enjoy cleaning she laughed a little. "Well I'm sure after so long of me cleaning I will not enjoy it but considering I have never had to really do much for myself, being able to finally, is actually fun."

Ren Coulter Ren smiled as he finished eating his food. He had to guess that she came from a rich family since she said that she hadn't done things like that. Well, she didn't say that, but he could guess that she hadn't done things like that a lot. He stood up and gathered the plate and things he had used. He went to the sink and placed them in there.He enjoyed her being there and it was nice of her to do those things. He would be sure to return the favor for her. He heard something about there being a carnival somewhere tomorrow. He would take her there after he was out of school. It wasn't like he had anything else he was going to do for the day."Alright, I'll do the dishes and everything else that needs to be tended to. There's this carnival or something coming to town tomorow, you want to check it out when I get out of school?"

Ryssa soon finished her food as well and stood up and put her dish and utensils into the sink. She gave a small nod of her head before she walked back over to the table and sat down sipping at the water. "I wouldn't mind doing the dishes but if you want to you can I guess." She looked to him as he spoke about a carnival coming to town and grew a little excited. She had heard of things like carnivals but had never been allowed to go to them. "Sure, I would love to go."

Ren Coulter Ren didn't mind doing it. It was the least he could do. "Alright. My last class ends at 6:30. We can go afterwards.Once he was finished cleaning everything, he went to his room getting things to take a shower. He didn't have much to do tomorrow, so he didn't mind going to it tomorrow. Just as long as the place wasn't crowded and full of stark raving mad maniacs,he could deal with it. He went into the bathroom and turned on the shower, letting the water warm up before he did anything else. Afterwards, he headed off to bed to get some rest so he could be ready for his morning class.

Ryssa was sitting in her room reading the letter she had gotten from the rebels. She was glad they were all doing alright, but she was also worried because she still had this feeling like something bad was going to happen. She finished reading the letter and slipped it into her bag, she had removed most of her things from it but had kept a few things in there, not wanting them to be found. She knew it was getting late so she laid down and slowly fell asleep.
The next morning when she woke she went to shower and then after she was finished she went into the kitchen to make breakfast for herself and Ren. She also made him a few different things that he could eat for lunch. She finished making their breakfast and waited for Ren to wake up. She sat at the kitchen table eating the food in front of her while reading a book.

Ren Coulter Ren awoke when the alarm clock went off. He groaned as he turned it off and layed back on the bed. He really wasn't a morning person. He layed their for a couple of minutes before groggily getting up. He was going to take another shower to wake him up. While taking a shower, he was thinking about what he was going to do throughout the entire day. He had the morning class which was at eight o'clock and the whole interval in between from that class to the night class at six. He would get some work done within that time as well as rest a little. Everytime he was tired with some of his assignments, he would cram up on them.
He hopped out the shower and cleaned it shortly afterwards. He still had time to get something to eat, iron hi clothes, and brush his teeth as well as for anything else. He walked towards the dining room. He saw that Ryssa had once more prepared everything. He stretched some and then walked towards the table."Good morning. Did you sleep well?"

Ryssa smiled up to Ren and nodded her head as she put the book she had been reading down. "Good morning Ren. I did sleep alright. How about you? Did you sleep well?" Ryssa hadn't slept alright, in fact she had been woken up many times during the night because of the images that were flashing through her head. But she wouldn't tell Ren that, for she would then have to explain them and then explain who and what she was. "Oh I also made you a few different thing for you to eat throughout the day while your at school."

Ren Coulter Ren smiled a little as he ate and drunk some coffee."That's good. I slept well as well. Thanks for fixing breakfast and all. It makes me think about my mother for some reason." he said laughing a little. He got up to iron his clothes, brush his teeth, and do other things. He walked out fully dressed in an attire suiting for the weather. Even though it was winter, it was going to be a sunny and warm day. He walked out the door in some sort of cheery mood. He was starting to like Ryssa around. Not because she was doing things in the house he would always have to do by himself when he had free time away from all the work, but she was nice. She was caring. He was also concerned for her. Even though she said she slept well, to him it seemed like she was a bit tired out. He hoped the carnval would relieve her of some of her problems. He sighed a little and got into the car, heading off for school.
Once Ren was done with his morning class, he was in the library working on assignments. Afterwards, he had some of the lunch that Ryssa had prepared. Sometimes he had to wonder if she was from another planet. It was a joke of course. After he was done breaking, he went back to work until it was six o'clock. When he done with his class fifty minutes after, he drove back to the house. He didn't want to keep Ryssa waiting on him, although she probably had found several things to do throughout the day. He got out the car and walked towards the door, opening it and going in. He wasn't sure if Ryssa was ready or not, but waiting was a good thing. When she was ready, they would leave off for the carnival.
