"I know," Kleos smiled and laid a hand on Moriath's hide, "believe me I understand that very well indeed." That was just the way it was, every rider would say so but by Mercy's attitude she believed that it would be so.
"Indeed!" Moriath agreed with a happy croon. "You'll do well, I have no doubt at all." Imagine the speed and agility the little dragon would have. It would be something amazing to behold to be sure.
Mentally agreeing with her dragon's sentiments Kleos gave a wearily contented sigh and stretched. "Forgive me," she smiled to Mercy, "we're both rather tired from drilling, I wouldn't wish you to think I was implying you were boring us: we were on our way to bathe when we spotted you down here and just couldn't fly by without saying hello."

Smiling slightly Mercy was quite sure that Kleos did indeed understand - in fact she was pretty sure that all dragonriders would, probably dolphineers and wherhandlers too as all of them had special bonds. She'd just as soon cut out her own heart as let anything happen to Aerith and likely many of the others felt the same. "Well don't let us keep you!" She told the crimson rider "I'm sure your both itchy and tired but it was wonderful to speak with you, we're glad you stopped by to say hello"
Mercy wouldn't say so of course but since impressing some of her fellows - both those whom had impressed and those who hadn't had gotten a bit standoffish..oh some of them were the same of course, like Wykla and a few others but Mercy couldn't help but notice the others as well. The ones who were either uncertain of what to make of Aerith or outright didn't seem to like them anymore. There was of course nothing she could do about it - but it was nice to have a friendly conversation with another rider who didn't seem off put by Aerith.
"Mine says you are going to bath and I shouldn't keep you to much longer" Aerith told the older dragon "But I look forward to flying together when I can" The little white chirped cheerfully and despite what everyone kept warning them Aerith was quite sure that it wouldn't be all that much after her siblings were allowed to do so. She'd grow strong if not large and she'd show them all.
