Sparrow approached her master, glancing around before sitting beside him. 'Do you want to rest, Master?'

We've eaten well... The day has moved on. ... Nothing threatens us for now... Rest is a good idea.

'Alright,' Sparrow said, offering Koth a small smile. The gesture still confused her, but it seemed to happen unconsciously so often now that she had begun to stop fighting with it. With that she decided to flop back on the grass, resting one arm under her head and the other on top of her stomach. She peered up at the sky, wondering if, on some of the other worlds, there was a time without starlight. It seemed likely.

*Koth collapsed beside her, keeping close though opting not to hold an arm around her this time*
Sleep well Sparrow... Tomorrow... we bathe.

Sparrow glanced his way before saying a somewhat tired-sounding 'Alright.' Turning her head back up to the sky, she closed her eyes, beginning to drift off to the sound of the fire crackling.

*There was a rustle in the bushes overlooking the valley, the crack of sticks underfoot, and a few small rocks falling carelessly downward toward the resting Koth and Sparrow*

Sparrow's brow furrowed when she felt a small sprinkling of dust against her face. Opening one eye, she squinted and then tilted her head back, catching the sight of some movement. She sat up, on full alert for either potential food or an enemy, quickly getting to her feet and beginning to crackle warningly with DRKNRGY. Eyes fixed on the source of the rustling up above, she stalked as close as she could.

*The source ran off into the shadows and protections of a small pocket of trees, completely out of sight*
*Koth rolled to the side in his sleep, mumbling on about poison*

Frowning and narrowing her eyes, she turned back to the dragon and crouched down. Giving his shoulder a shake, she asked 'Master?'

*Koth opened an eye and a half smile when prodded*
... Did I miss breakfast?

'Something was moving, up there. It has escaped.' Sparrow glanced up to the last place she'd seen the creature before turning back to Koth. 'I'm sorry.'

Probably a squirrel... or something...
*The dragon sat up and opened the other eye*
Slept like a rock. You?

'Me...? I slept...fine.' Sparrow seemed to have still not yet adjusted to the concern for innocuous personal details her master possessed.

Good. Good...
*He looked about and down the valley to the lake in its end*
Up for a bit of a swim? Time for a drink, at least.

'Okay.' Sparrow agreed, offering her hand to help her master upright.
