Landry was pushed onto his back and into a pin.

Landry was forced to relinquish the submission to avoid the pinfall.

Riker rolled away from Landry, getting to a knee as he grabbed at his shoulder, messaging it to ease the pain that had just been shooting through it.

Landry would usually be frustrated that he was switched into the pin from his submission, but the thought occured to him. His only option out of the submission was to switch into a sloppy pin, which made his confidence skyrocket. He grinned at the champ and did the same wide stance and head tilt that he did before, but this time much farther away from him.

Johnathan got back to his feet, rolling his shoulder, as he got the last of the kinks out. He then turned around and looked to Landry. As soon as he turned he saw Landry, again in the mocking stance. Johnathan then tilted his head as well, as the thought of Landry losing it was running through his mind. Riker then took a few steps towards Mike and went to send a hard forearm into The Heartbreaker's jaw. If successful Riker would look to push Landry and into the ropes and use them to help him whip him across the ring.

Landry could have avoided the forarm with ease, but his confidence was so high he chose to take it anyway. Landry stumbled into the ropes, still grinning and was sent for the ride with an irish whip, rebounding into...

Johnathan took a few steps forward, to meet Landry in the middle of the ring. As soon as Landry was close, Johnathan ducked and went to scoop Landry onto his shoulder, and then quickly fall backwards to slam Landry with a Samoan drop.

Landry was heaved up onto the shoulders but used his momentum to slide off. He attempted to hook Riker's head on the way down and bring him down in an Inverted DDT.

Riker was unsuspectingly brought down, and his skull was planted with the DDT. He rolled onto his side holding the back of his head in pain.

Landry tried to grab Riker's arm and twist it around his leg, then roll over and scoop him over in an Oklahoma Roll pin attempt.

The Ref slid over as Riker was rolled into the Oklahoma pin, and began to slap the canvas.
1..2..
Riker managed to kick out just before the three, saving himself from an early loss.

Mike tried to reach out and grab a leg to begin to work on while on the ground. If he was able to latch on to one he'd attempt to roll Riker over into a half crab.

Riker was pulled into the half crab, and as he back was and leg were bent, he let out a grunt of pain, grinding his teeth. After nearly a minute in the hold, Johnathan went to lift his chest off the canvas, and reached under at Landry's leg. Riker had managed to reach Landry's ankle and went to pull it out from under him. Looking to force Landry to release the half crab, and tried to applied his own submission an ankle lock.

Landry's confidence was so high that he was so easily able to work faster and smarter than Riker that he didn't pay attention to his footing, which caused him to face plant and be trapped in the surprise ankle lock.

Johnathan quickly went to lock in a grapevine around Landry's leg, and would then try to gator roll Landry back and forth, looking to cause so much torque and ware on Landry's ankle and would just snap off.

Landry was in tremendous pain from the Ankle lock, and the dissorienting gator roll wasn't helping. Landry kept kicking backwards with his free leg. Given the confusion and dizzying properties of the gator roll, Landry felt he could get away with a deliberate low blow attempts and blame it on an accident.
