"Let's go Major!" chants began to fill the arena as the fans began to get behind the up and coming superstar. Major Devastation would try to guide the Prodigy to his feet before making an attempt at positioning Nuke for a hanging vertical suplex.
((Did I do that right? Just to clarify, the attempt is for the lift and stall part of the suplex.))

[[Yep, that was right.]]
The chants started across the arena, as Devastation was able to bring Nuke in to mid-air. Although he had been continuously attacked throughout this match, there was an instinct in him that allowed him to continue the lift, and drop; only to land on his feet on the other side.

((Ah, good))
A grin spread across Major Devastation's face as Nuke slipped out of the hanging vertical suplex attempt. His opponent was living up to his expectations thus far, and this match wasn't just going to be an easy win...and the Master of Disaster wouldn't have it any other way.
The big Texan would turn to face the Prodigy and wait to see just what his opponent had up his sleeve.

Nuke needed a bit of time, some space to catch his breath, and that's when he took the opportunity. With the ref's vision blocked by the large body of Devastation, Nuke went for a quick eye rake. He would then feign an injury had been inflicted on him, and hold his own eye.

((Are you going for an eye rake on Major D. or yourself?))

((Ah, okay. No biggie...stuff happens.))
The big Texan staggered backwards, shielding his eyes and blinking furiously to ease the watering. Major Devastation had just begun leaning against the ropes on the opposite end of the ring from Nuke to attempt to start regaining his composure when the referee began to admonish him for the Prodigy's feigned eye injury.
"Yo, man," Major D. said, while rubbing his own eyes, "I didn't do Jack to his eyes...HE RAKED MINE!"

Nuke punched the mat, shouting out in pain. While the ref wasn't looking, he had openly cut himself and was bleeding lightly from a small cut just underneath the eye.
The ref ran over, checking the cut. He told Major Devastation to keep back, and almost called for the bell because of what seemed like an eye gouge. But Nuke grabbed his arm, telling him not to, and just feigning the injury a little more by using the ropes to get to his feet, staggering a small amount.
The crowd jeered Fusion loudly, although the ref wasn't noticing them.

Once Major's eyes had finally stopped watering, he looked up to see the ref checking on Nuke, but couldn't tell why because of the ref's positioning. He moved in closer to try to get a better view, only to be instructed to stay back...although by this point the Master of Disaster could clearly see that his opponent had juiced himself.
Lovely, he thought. He's pulling an Eddie...
As soon as the official moved out of the way, the Devil Dog went in and tried to Irish Whip Nuke across the ring, hoping for a rebound. If all went as planned, he would attempt to catch the Brit with a Double A Spinebuster on his return.

Nuke allowed his-self to be Irish Whip, but held on to the ropes as he was about to rebound from them, holding his cut eye with his left hand.

Major D.'s expression after the Prodigy caught himself on the ropes could only be described as "Well, there goes that idea". He would quickly shift gears and charge across the ring, looking for a running Lariat.

This was where Nuke's experience and 'chess'-thinking came in to play, as he planned a few moves ahead in the match. Dropping down and pulling on the top rope with him, he would attempt to send Major D flying over the top rope!
