Ace frowned, "I am sorry! It was just a joke!" He said and put his hand on Max's shoulder.

Max flinched when Ace touched her shoulder. She removed her hands from her head very slowely, "You shouldnt do that." She said softly. "When should we get a full look of this house?" She asked.

"Now, I guess." Rachael said uncertainly. (Right ;3)
"Let's split into groups. I'll go with Max, and you go with Ace."

Ace stepped back, "That sounds fine." He nodded, "It is gonna take a while to look at all the rooms, this place is huge!" he said

Rachael was filled with sudden comfort. She had a secret, minor crush on Ace, and always felt safe with him. She nodded and stood next to him. "I know, isn't it great? And it was cheap!" Jake said happilly.

Max giggled, "Haha, yah." She said, with a smile, "Lets hope this place wont fall on top of us." She said, looking at Jake. She was relieved she could go with Jake, he made her feel warm inside.

Ace smiled, "What a deal! Now shall we go?" He asked Rachael. "I guess we can take the upstairs i guess."

Rachael nodded. "You first." she said nervously. "That's the spirit." Jake said. "Let's go, then." and with that, he walked down the hallway.

Rachael followed, Snickers in her arms. "Slowpoke." Jake said, grinning a little as he continued down the hall.

She looked at the ripped wall paper at the top of the wall, "This place is spooky." She said, looking around them. "Slowpokes are the best." She added.

As they walked up the stairs the steps began to creek. "oh, i don't trust the stairs to much..." He said to Rachel as he got to the top.

As he said that, the step underneath Rachael's left foot gave out. "Ah!" she yelped, her foot falling into the newly-made hole. She pulled, but couldn't get it out. "I know isn't it great?" Jake said, looking at the wallpaper.
