"Your right... I DO apologize for trying to keep you from distractedly walking off a cliff edge. What WAS I thinking..." He snapped staring around and staring upwards. It was really kind of ....strangely beautiful in a "Welcome to Pandora" kind of way.
"What...happened here..." He said quietly, was this what happened when you left senshi alone with a world? Surely no one else could come here uninvited. Then again it was like nothing he'd ever heard of in the science books. How could their world be so...limited in what it knew. The glamor that hid them in uniform...could it be powerful enough to hide whole civilizations in space? Or rather...the remnants of them. His skin prickled and he didn't manage to suppress the small shudder.

"Its my first time here." In this life anyways, she added mentally. "So i really know about as much as you do about this place." She really had no clue about what happened here, what caused them all to be sent to earth... something had happened to ALL the senshi empires, not just her home world. God why couldn't she have brought a SENSHI with her... she could have discussed things with them then, without fear of it getting into the negaverse.
Strangely enough.. she still had a hard time not letting things slip. "You know." She said, reaching a hand into the cool waters of the lake. "If i was not entirely positive you'd run with information to your nega buddies, i might have been inclined to tell you things." It was true, and no matter how much he said he wouldn't tell... she knew all too well never to trust a negaverser. She was trying her best to hide that she was seriously pissed he was here... a negaverse CAPTAIN..here.
"C'mon lets go look at other places." Her eyes flicked towards the spire of the castle... walking back out of the grotto like area, and up another particle pathway like it was nothing. As they grew closer to the castle though.. it was clear the castle took the hardest hit of all. It was a shock the spires for the paths were still in tact.

"You say that... like anyone will believe me." He said staring around him wide eyed like he was only half listening to her. He folded his arms tight against his chest like he were guarding against attack. It was an move that Zack made when he was uncomfortable too.
"I don't believe me..." He added shaking his head. "This is... this is... christ...and I thought YOU people were hard to rationalize..." He glanced at her and was clearly trying to read her face, his own eyes far more readable than he would have liked. He was ... uncomfortable, dare you say scared?
"You COULD just take me home...you can come here another time I'm sure... I wasn't exactly looking to hitch hike."

Pausing the senshi stopped, and looked over her shoulder back towards the negaverser. "Is it really so hard to believe that there are other worlds out there? I mean hell... we were born on earth why couldn't there be other 'earths'?" She turned around fully now, hands on her hips. "Look at me, im running around in a magical miniskirt and have talking cats for friends. Look at you too, your a captain in a magical military organization thing with powers of your OWN too. Is it really so hard to imagine that something like this... is real? Im sure your queen would believe you in the least" Lyra shrugged. With that last note she turned around and started up the path again ... wait why the hell did she give him a pep talk? Ugh the BMC members would be chewing her head off for THAT one.
"Here." She said pulling a pepsi out of her bag and handing it to him. Maybe some sugar would calm him down. "Your good and stuck here until i am done, i can not travel for a while after this it might kill me to use that much energy in such a short time span. If YOU have a problem with hanging around me, you can stay here and ill pick you up later... or you could always try to find some inter space taxi. Im sure theyd accept human currency."
"Though i dont think youd like the final bill." She rolled her eyes and continued up the path.

he glanced at the pepsi and back to her like he expected her to ball her hand around it and use it to slug him in the face. He cautiously took it but didn't drink it. "She might... and I suppose your right, I would not have said that a few years ago that anyone could stick a hand in the chest of another and remove it without having cut a hole there. He looked down at the pepsi and back and pondered if he should tell her that they wouldn't be ripping out star seeds any more. He fingered the few pearls of energy in his pocket pondering suggesting that she eat one. The irony of it would be outstanding but he elected not to reveal any more 'state secrets' than she had.
"I wonder that I could tell ANY of this to the queen, after all I'm not trying to kill you ... I don't know that she'd accept "I needed to get home" as a valid reason not to.

She gritted her teeth in reminder that the man was a cold blooded killer. Here she was starting to enjoy SOME conversation... but no, he just killed it. Killed it with the remembrance that people she KNEW starseeds were in their 'collection'. "You know i would have asked what the hell you did with starseeds a long time ago, but then i remembered that information was hard to get." She was intel for BMC... maybe this WOULD be a good way to get some sort of information.
"Oh your queen doesnt value you enough to know you got home safely... no matter the means you used?" Harsh, maybe. But she wasn't in the best of moods anymore. Using her senshi like strength she shoved aside a large hunk of stone that was blocking her pathway.
Once inside... she was greeted with what had to have once been a lush garden. It was a maze of rocks and stones... even something at its center that looks like a fountain. At one time it had to have been beautiful.

"You can still ask... can't promise I'll answer... " He said though there was a little smirk that had appeared on his face. "I swear I haven't taken any for several days... how's that...feel better? And for someone who's queen won't even appear, I wouldn't talk too much about being -valued-... at least I can see your potential, do 'your people' understand how gifted you are Lyra?"
He was slipping back, or trying to slip back into the mind games.

She waved her hand almost dismissively. "I think we have known each other well enough at this point to know you wouldn't answer even if i asked." He would give a round about not-answer and just mess with her head.
"How can you expect value from someone whom is DEAD." Lyra growled... eyes glinting ad she looked back at zink. Her temper getting the better of her... she had a hard time not slapping him. "I dont wait blindly around for some dead queen, i look forward to the future and not the past." Was this his first time hearing this from a senshi?
"I dont care if anyone 'understands' if im gifted or not, as long as i get the job done." She was starting to wonder why the hell she didnt just lock him up somewhere and leave him there.

He arched an eyebrow hearing those words from her. "First time I've heard -that- from one of you. You're positive she's dead then?" He tilted his head curious. "For what its worth... I understand, I see your talent, your potential." Soft words like the snake that lured eve to the apple. "But since I know that doesn't matter.. tell me... tell me what you want for the future. That at least can't do any harm can it?"

"... You know, im not going to talk to you anymore. " Lyra knew this way of talking all too well... she knew this was his 'mind games' way of speech and was not in the mood to listen to it at the moment. She had fallen for it one too many times. Sighing she walked the cobblestone path that lead towards what used to be a massive door. It seemed to be made of thick heavy wood with intricate carvings on it. Well... massive door that wasn't budging no matter how much she attempted to move it. Even her senshi strength would not dislodge the huge thing.
Oh she was going to regret this. "... Can i ask for assistance?" Yeah her vow of silence sure hadn't lasted long.

Zink arched an eyebrow at her and then looked around as though there was some third party there she was addressing. He even went so far as to look upward as though some party might be hanging over their heads. Though all things considered with rocks and particle bridges you never knew.
"OH... I'm sorry, I thought you weren't talking to me." He said with a slight amused narrowing of his eyes. "Working together then are we? Are you sure you can risk contamination from my profoundly evil self? You never know...proximity could be deadly."
Weapon grade sarcasm probably wasn't the best course of action when you were trapped on an alien world with only one ticket home but some things you just couldn't help.

She should have known his reply would have been something like this. No yes... no no, just some sort of median smart a** reply. Her fingers clutched the door harder... as if that would help.
"Keep it up and I'm leaving your 'profoundly evil self' behind to contemplate the scientific reasons behind this place." She grunted, pulling a little harder at the door.. it budged a little but nothing more than that.
"Dont test my patience... my fist to your chest the other time should have been practice enough for that."
"....Besides, your bark is worse than your bite." Yes, it was meant as a insult... but that's how she saw him.

He said nothing more but looked amused, his 'bite' was his brains, that was all he needed to know... he might not be Albert Einstein but he thought he did rather well enough, better than many if worse than some. He gripped the door and gave a good hard pull. At first it gave little more reaction than she had on her own, but he had a strength advantage on her, physical over magical was the rule of the Negaverse, and had he needed he might have tried to summon his yoma...fortunately it wasn't necessary. With a groan and a grind of rusty hinges and age the door moved at last.

Not to mention... he was taller than her too. She hadn't had a growth spurt since she was 12... so she was permanently, thus far at least, stuck at 4'9". Did she really need to give him thanks?... Nah. He was here
The door creaked open just enough for the two of them to slip through. Upon entering... Lyra's eyes opened wide. A vision, a building not in ruin.. but full of life. The sun was warm, the walls were clean and not broken, the floors not cracked and gleaming. It was almost as if she knew this place, well enough to know where things were or used to be... well enough to know something was still wrong about this world, this vision. It was a place she knew well, but a cold feeling went up her spine causing her to shiver.
In a trance like state she wandered towards a corner of the room... picking something up that lay rested covered in dirt and dust, something she probably would not have seen otherwise. It was hidden under some rubble, something that she reached around in present time while he mind saw the past. In her current mind it was fuzzy... but still somewhat clear. The vision had not lasted long, something in the building caused her to trip and snap out of the vision. Even while her hand curled around something small. Opening her palm she revealed a small rusted skeleton key... it had a loop around it almost as it it used to be worn as a necklace.
Finally in the present, the room looked exactly like her small memory... only things were not missing. A layer of dust covered nearly everything as well. "The hell...." If zink looked close enough, he might have seen she was crying for no reason.

He stood back, almost holding his breath as she moved forward like someone half asleep, picking up the small thing and holding it in her hand like someone had left behind a diamond, but all he could see was a small rusted key. He could think of more than a few comments to make, but he stayed quiet and waiting with a heavy feeling that he should -not- speak. There was a feeling in the air that pressed against him like the whole world held its breath till she spoke, shattering it like an ancient cobweb torn to tatters by a chance breeze.
"... are you alright?" he said very quietly
