(will be developed) Number of soquili owned: (I'm nosy) 2 razz It did say two or less. /brikd Prompt: B The day was young and the sun was bright over the fields. The foals were out in the open again. Playing and chatting as usual under the gaze of their loving parents. The foals were playing about in the fields, the butterflies and the birds up and about in the air around them. The parents off to watch and take a quick rest, closing their eyes for a bit, a little one trudged off on his own. "Where's sister?" I asked, my nose taking on the fact that she was gone. "Oh? Yeah Yeah." my brother replied. "Maybe she went for a walk? "Maybe she found food and she's not sharing!" I glared. "Let's go and find her!" we declared, prancing off to follow her scent wherever she went. "They'll never find me." she snickered, passing through her large expanse of bushes and into what came to a large riverside. Hanging over the rivers were many trees bearing many a delicious fruit. "Ya-" she exclaimed and was cut short, a pair of bodies landing on her. "Oh come on now! You spoiled my secret spot!" she pouted. "Secret spot?" I asked. "What that?" by brother asked, looking intently at their sibling. "you know, its a place to call your own, " "ooooh." both of them awed in unison. "Its pretty." I continued out of the awe and beauty of this tranquil place. "Yeah and its not secret anymore now that you two know." the sister glared. "What!?" the brother exclaimed. "We followed you here!" "Come on, what part of secret do you not know?" she sighed. "Besides, what kind of place is secret if others know?" "We can keep a secret!" I responded in between. "Me too! Me too!" my sibling responded in kind. "Alright alright...so....what else do ya think?" their sister asked, approaching the cool and clean gentle stream of water that ran pass them. "Its pretty sis." I replied, joining her. "I know, but this is, or was my alone place." she replied. "Oh....how about you guys...what would be your alone place be like?" she asked her siblings. We both pondered at her question. My brother answering first. "A large valley1 with lots and lots of rocks to climb and play! And a pool to cool off after." he grinned proudly. "not surprised there." she snickered to her sibling, gently nudging him. "How about you?" she asked me. "Hmmmm... " I thought for a bit, smiling I replied "I don't think I need a secret place." I eplied. "If I wanted one, I think it'll be like a big field with lots of flowers and trees. but it won't be complete if its not with you two." she cooed, snuggling up to her siblings, making them purr. "Come on, let's go back to mum and Dad before they wake up..." And so we went home... Our secret kept together.

Fauns and roses! Username: Aurrific Soquili Name: Edelweiß (It's a white flower, though if needed, it can be spelled with "ss" instead of "ß" (Plan to use for either male or female) Personality: Young, brash, and idealistic, Edelweiß hardly has grace about him. He tends to act before he thinks things through, which can have dire consequences, given the circumstances, but he usually managed to extricate himself from situations in a timely enough manner to avoid being scathed. Still, he's had plenty of mishaps and will probably have plenty more, as time goes on. Despite his generally impractical nature and fierce competitive streak, he really is quite the friendly foal. He won't turn his back on another in need and will do all he can to help, which can make him a little on the "easy to take advantage of" side. Number of soquili owned: .5 Prompt:Quote: Prompt B: You and your siblings have been talking about dens and secret places which get you thinking about one of your own. Where do you go? What does it look like? What happens? "What about you?" "Huh?" Edelweiß shook his head slowly as a voice penetrated his thoughts. He turned his gaze towards his sister and cocked his head slightly. They were nestled inside the rocky outcrop of a den that they called home, but his mind was a billion miles away, drifting aimlessly amongst the clouds and over the trees as he fantasized over what it might be like to be a bird... Or at least a winged soquili! It was his sister that grounded him, however, and he seemed rather baffled. "What about your secret place? Do you have one?" "N-no? Not really?" "Well, we both got one. Whoever doesn't is a three-legged frog." "I'm not!" He stood huffily, lifting his head and pawing the earth indignantly. He was obviously not a frog, nor did he have three legs, but it was rather frustrating to know that both his siblings had secret hide aways and he didn't. This situation had to be rectified. He made a silent vow, right then and there, that he'd find a hide-away that was three times better than either of theirs. He... Just had to find a place. "You're gonna be jealous, you'll see, then you'll both have to find better secret places than mine. Maybe I'll share it with you." He didn't give either of them a chance to respond, instead sneaking out of their little den's entrance. Mother and father were nowhere in sight, that was good! He dashed off as silently as his clumsy, hoofed paws could carry him, which wasn't very silent at all. He was still young, long-legged, and very awkward. He was fortunate, though, as none seemed to hear him. Spurred on by this, the little foal plodded along, ears erect and nose to the air as he tried to find or smell something interesting. It was the sound of gurgling water that attracted him to the river. It was new to him, the sights and sounds. The trees were large and several hung gloomily, branches grazing the water's surface. He gave a small squeal of delight and charged forward, only to feel a tight clamp on his tail, which caused him to stop in his tracks. "What do you think you're doing, mister?" He lowered his head and turned to face his mother, a sheepish grin plastered across his features. "Just playin' Momma." "We told you to stay put, little foals could easily drowned in there if they aren't careful." "But I weren't gonna drown, I swears it!" "Tell ya what, maybe when you're older." "Yes Momma." He lowered his head, but inwardly, he soared a little bit. He plodded after his mother, admiring the roses in her mane. Surely he could embellish this story to make it a wee bit more interesting to his siblings, once he got back.

Fauns and roses! Username: ~Kiana_Nala~ Soquili Name: Female: Airianne (very holy one) Male: Côme (order, universe) Personality: Airianne is wise and likes to think things through. Sometimes her over thinking causes her to miss out on things, but she doesn't mind. However, she loves to seek out adventure and likes to follow her parents around. Airianne often gets herself into trouble because she is not afraid of being hurt or being looked at as weird. Côme is very shy and does not like to wander to far off from his family. He's always worried about what other people think of him and hardly ever explores. Côme will slip away once in a while to a secluded river that he found one day with his mother. That is however the only time he is away from his family. He also likes to tell stories that he makes up in his head. Côme is VERY imaginative and highly intelligent. Number of soquili owned: 0.5 ( Taja) Prompt: B "Airianne come here!" A voice called out from behind a big pile of pushes. "I have something to show you!" The voice called out again. This time Airianne stood up from the spot she had been laying down on and walked over to the bushes. She hadn't moved in hours so when she stood up her legs felt stiff and numb. Airianne stepped into the bushes and saw her siblings pulling branches over a circular den like spot. "What are you two doing?" She asked in a kind and curious voice. "We are making a den. We wanted you to come see it." Replied one of her siblings. Airianne walked closer to the makeshift den and inspected it. She knew it would fall if they bumped it in the slightest bit, but she also knew that they wouldn't listen to her. They liked to try things even when they knew they wouldn't work out. It was a good quality to have but she preferred to think things out before doing them. She was very different from her parents in that way, but someone needed to be that one that thought of the consequences of their actions. And she just happened to be that one. Airianne smiled and looked at her siblings. They squealed happily at her reaction and bounded off to find more supplies for the den. As they left Airianne turned to the right of the den and began walking. She needed to find a den that would keep the rain out, safe, and could hold three growing foals. As she walked she thought of a tree she had seen a few days before with her mother when they were exploring. She had been fascinated by it because it had a huge hole cut out of it and it looked more like the things that the two-leggers lived in. But it was clearly a tree. Airianne smiled and skipped towards the tree that was only just a few short jumps ahead of her. When she finally reached the tree she inspected it further, making sure it would not collapse because of their games. It met her needs as well as her siblings. Airianne whined for her siblings that couldn't be more then a couple feet away. They never strayed to far from their parents when it was almost dark. After a few minutes of waiting she noticed her siblings running towards her. She realized that her siblings had thought she was in trouble and were coming to her rescue. She smiled and nodded her head towards the tree. "I found this great den that we could use. It'll keep the rain out and it is HUGE." She said with a large grin. The tree was probably a old willow tree or something even larger then that. She waited as her siblings inspected the tree and her heart exploded in her chest when they came out of the tree jumping and skipping. This tree would be their new den, it would be the one place they could escape to that no one else would know of. Before long it was dark and it was time to head back to their home that their parents had found. But in the morning when they awoke they would sneek off for the entire day to the tree where they would make long lasting memories.

Fauns and roses! Username: II Paradox II Soquili Name: Florian[unisex]; meaning blooming or flowery in latin. Personality: Sophisticated/Poised: Florian isn’t afraid to flaunt it is whatever he/she has. And that being well-groomed is what’s needed for a good impression even though Florian tends to get a little dirty here and there, not afraid by bugs or worms. Bug on a good day you’ll always find him/her cleaned with coat glossy and his/her mane and tail without a mess.
Rebel? Yeah. Maybe: Florian comes across as a sweet, innocent young filly/colt in front of his/her family members and even being introduced to guests. But outside the small herd he/she’s an adventurous rebel waiting to start a new journey! Florian has a big heart with quite the imagination to fill it.
Not So Much a Sociable Butterfly: Florian will usually kept to himself/herself rather than within large crowds which makes it hard for him/her to make new friends. She/he is very shy and nervous (more clumsy too) around strangers or even acquaintances.
A Helping Hand: Florian is one to help out strangers even when they don’t ask for it. He/She likes the feeling of accomplishing a task even if it’s simple. He/She will put aside his/her time to help out strangers and friends alike.
Number of soquili owned: .5 Prompt: B[roleplaying as Florian being a filly.]It just wasn’t fair, Florian thought to herself as she wandered throughout the sparse woodlands. Her siblings had found wonderful places that they called their ‘secret fortresses’. One found a beautiful glade protected by willow trees with only the brightest of flowers growing at the center of the hearth. And the other found a place near the foothills of the mountains that provided many hiding places within the crevices. Each beautiful and each resembled their parents. The glade, their Mother beautiful and standing elegant towards the warmth of the sunlight. The mountains standing tall and proud like their Father. So, what was left for Florian? She snorted as she tossed back her mane and stopped walking. All she found were simple pines growing in an odd circle, but there wasn’t anything special in the middle. Not to mention the pines themselves were rather dull and provided her with nothing but itchiness and poking.
The young filly plopped herself onto the ground with a fairly loud ‘thud’. She didn’t think any more dazzling places grew in these parts of the woods. Her siblings had just gotten lucky before her and now they kept gloating and going on-and-on about their fortresses.
“It’s just not fair,” she pouted. “What makes them so special?” she muttered.
“Chu look lost,” a squeaky voice said. Florian raised her head and glanced off to the side between two neatly picked blueberry bushes to find a bunny in a waist’s coat looking at her. He had teeny tiny glasses plopped right onto his button nose and carried a basket filled with juicy berries.
“I am lost,” Florian responded.
He hopped forwards, nose twitching and whiskers flickering in curiosity.
“I’m looking for a place that both has the brightest flowers in all the woods AND where only the tallest of mountains stand in glory,” she said. “Do you know of a place?” Florian looked to the bunny.
Florian’s eyes furrowed as she lowered her head and stretched out her neck towards him. He looked as though he was going to explode with…pure happiness. His face was in bliss, his eyes wide, and a huge smug grin on his lips.
“Aye do! aye do know of a place!” the rabbit jumped up for joy, a few berries knocking out of his basket. But he was much too pleased to pick them up as he dashed off into the woodlands. “’Urry! ‘Urry!” he called out to her.
Florian quickly scrambled on to her legs and followed, clumsily after the rabbit. He kept leaping up higher and higher for joy and looked back to see that she was following. After a couple minutes he stopped between two high bushes. “‘Ight through ‘ere,” he said with a smile. He pushed two branches (two low branches) aside. Now Florian could feel the excitement pulse through her body. She licked her lips, nodding her head as she pushed her way through the branches. Her eyes closed and he rears pulled back. “Mister Rabbit. Are you sure it’s this way?” she asked a little concerned only because it felt as though the bush was ever going.
“Yes, yes! Only ‘ere!” he said. Her ears perched forwards at the sound of his voice. Good, he hadn’t left her.
Finally she couldn’t feel any bush at the end of her snout. She opened her eyes with her mouth dropping wide. The earth here ruined with clumps of it scattered here and there. Flowers picked of any silky petals they had and the trees withered. She could see in between the branches to where the mountains grew close
“Ye will like ‘dis place,” the rabbit said. “Flow’rs of every ‘ind grow ‘ere,” she could hear him go on and on. The flowers were the most beautiful that he’d ever seen with the trees and greenery protecting the meadow from those who wanted to destroy it. The more he went on about the meadow and the more he heard him shuffling behind her, the more she wished she had seen the meadow’s glory.
“Like it?” the rabbit stopped near her forelegs. His mouth dropped and whimpers escaped from his vocals.
“NO! NOOOOOOOO!” he screamed out, jumping into the meadow with tears streaming from his eyes.
“This place,” he whimpered, as he soft patted what few flowers hadn’t been destroyed. Florian felt awful of what happened and wished that in some miraculous way that the flowers would grow to the rabbit’s tears. But they only stayed the same looking more and more withered away.
Florian stepped forwards towards him and nudged him with the end of her snout. “We’ll help it grow and find who did this,” she told him softly. “Together we can make this meadow beautiful once again,” she raised her head and smiled.
This meadow would be Florian’s. For now and forever. With the help of the little rabbit of course. He looked to her with hope now on his face. She nudged him again and the two laughed softly.

Fauns and roses! Username: Cypran Soquili Name: Ruusu- It means Rose in Finnish Personality: Gentle. Ruu is kind and companionable, and filled with a chattery mind that he'll likely grow out of. He doesn't like adventuring quite as much as his mother would like, but when he does he tends to come back with stories a plenty. While he doesn't quite lie, he tends to stretch the truth a bit and even though he doesn't mean any harm, he's had to get out of a few jams because of it. He's usually very sprightly and cheerful, but not very resolved. Number of soquili owned: One, my mare Cecilia who was gifted to my by a friend. Prompt: Prompt A
The woods this time of day were magical and absolutely enormous, especially to the eye of the young foal, trailing in his mother's wake through the trees. Completely enthralled, Ruusu was forgetting himself and his attitude, like many young colts, to pretend they were 'grown-ups'. The earthy foal followed his mother's walk at a trot, happy just to watch his mother's tail wend its way along the earth and with seemingly infinite patience to count the trees as they brushed past mother and son. The daylight felt almost soft filtered through the trees the way it was and Ruusu's cloven hooves were pushing soundlessly into the soft earth. Despite his enthrallment with the wilderness, it wasn't long into the walk that the restless foal began to grow bored and his eyes searching the trees with more interest, keen to find things of such nature in the tall branches and stuffy shrubbery. Their travel set them on an pathless route and before long the undergrowth and decaying leaves of the forest floor had the youth staggering after his mother, who looked back on occasion, eyes cheerful with parental amusement at her foal's contest with the roots and leaves. One particularly malicious root snagged his leg just so and sent the foal tumbling into the bushes. Shoshanna's glided along a bit further before turning back, calling to her foal that she could spy just beyond the trees.
Ruusu's tail drooped, mildly upset at the upstart stem, and looked around as he gathered himself and stood. He heard his mother's voice in the distant, but it didn't seem urgent, and Ruusu's attention was turned by a large hole in the dirt just a bit further off. He wandered towards it, moving out of his mother's sight so she called once more, the foal ignoring her in favor of investigating. As he approached the knoll, he nosed the earth curiously, scenting some unusually, musky tinge on the earth. It wasn't a fox's sent, his mother had warned him about that, but it was woodsy like it. Ruusu eyed the hole suspiciously and took a few steps closer, nerly on the verge, and stared down into the pit. All in a flurry, an angry, snarling form rushed out from the burrow, startling the foal beyond wit and sending him whinnying to his mother's side, managing to trip on several roots in his rush. When he stopped, calming from panic, his mother looked at him, laughter in her eyes but not ought rightly making fun and she asked him, not without a tinge of excitement. "You met the badger?" And Ruusu nodded, looking back fretfully. "It was this snarling, huge blighter! All black and white and angry." He nearly shouted, looking worriedly at his mother. She nodded sagely and chuckled, turning to continue along their walk. It wasn't long before Ruu was back to his usual self, buzzing excitedly to tell his siblings about the huge rodent he'd fended off valiantly.

Fauns and roses! Username: Hopelessly Pretty Soquili Name: Aella, meaning whirlwind in Greek Personality: Aella is a quite the little daydreamer, prone to simply laying in the grass and looking up at the sky for hours on end without a care in the world as she dreams of her wonderful future. Like Soshana, she tries to see the beauty in everything and because of that temperament is quite curious; what things she doesn’t understand must be understood, and she simply won’t stop trying until she gets a clearer picture! She is a happy and hopeful horse, waiting for the day when she grows old enough to travel on her own and unravel the world’s secrets. With quite the imagination, she insists that there is much more out there beyond the Kiwani lands that she must see. Aella sometimes causes her parents to worry because she doesn’t seem to realize that the unknown can also potentially be dangerous, but by always keeping a smile on her face, it’s hard for anyone to not want to keep it there and say no to her wishes. Number of soquili owned: 1, a little seathi named Ziv. <3 Prompt: Prompt B
It had taken a while for everything to fall into place, but tonight was the night. Waiting for just the right moment, Aella had slipped away from her parents and siblings in order to do a little exploring all by herself. The forest on the edge of the meadow where she and her family were currently staying held some magical secret (she just knew it, so don’t ask how) and it was there that she needed a place to call her own. Her brother and sister had already claimed their own hideaways, and it had been bothering her for several days now that she did not also have a place to lay and think alone. The full moon shone high above in the night sky, surrounded by a veil of twinkling stars; Aella couldn’t help but feel as if each flicker of their light was a whisper in her ear telling her to keep on moving.
Humming a lullaby that her mother used to sing as she walked, her ears flicked as she followed the faint remnants of a trail that cut through the fallen leaves scattered across the ground. The forest held an unfamiliar scent to Aella’s nose, and she couldn’t help but giggle with excitement despite being in the dark. She imagined her brother and sister trying to follow her path but would be just too frightened by all the strange shadows the trees cast (‘like a bear’s outstretched claws’, she’d thought, although mind you, she had never even seen a bear before). Pausing on her trek to look around and try to find something interesting, she found just that not far away. A large cave emitting some sort of light! All sorts of things to explain the glow entered Aella’s mind, but she trotted over anyway, too curious now to even slightly be afraid of what might greet her.
Amused by the clicking off her hoofs against the cave floor, Aella giggled again. Maneuvering carefully to avoid bumping into any rocks she walked further inside and closer toward that strange glow. It wasn’t long before she met the source, and when she found out what it was she couldn’t help but laugh in delight. A large portion of the cave’s roof had caved in, causing all of the moonlight from above to filter in through the gaping hole. But what was actually causing a light to shine throughout the cave was a series of crystal formations that were on the walls and floor; they dazzled as the foal pranced about and she released a dreamy sigh. ”This place is wonderful… I’ll call it my Radiant Grotto”.

So to be less confusing Io will talk and think in brown and Shosanna in blueFauns and roses! Username: vballlvr5 Soquili Name: Female: Ayana (ay-ana) or Calanthe meaning beautiful flower or Calantha meaning lovely blossom Male: Io (like one of Jupiter's moons) Personality:(for purposes of the prompt I will assume the foal is male though it will be the same either way) Io is optimistic, for him the glass is always half full. He sees life through rose colored glasses reflecting on past experiences as more pleasant than they really were. He is helpful and caring. He never wishes to hurt anyone and deeply regrets it if he does. He is extremely friendly and enthusiastic; an extravert. He is trustworthy and trusts others as well. He always tries to live up to good expectations. His father had greatness thrust upon him but though Io is not a white stag like his father he gives advice and is gifted at making good decisions. Though not known to be clairvoyant he can somehow sense certain future events. Number of soquili owned: 1 Prompt:Prompt A Io was excited he got to spend the whole day with his mother, by himself. This was a rarity as he was almost always was with one of his siblings. He and his mother were exploring the nearby forest. Being not as adventurous as his mother he was a little bit nervous of going to places he hadn't been before but the day was a good one. It was sunny out and the forest was nearly as dark as he thought it would be. Shosanna had spotted a patch of clover and decided to have a quick snack before carrying on. Io was too excited to eat so he tromped around, but being careful to keep his mother in his sight. Io looked around the forest floor and noticed a small object glinting in the light. From what he could tell the mysterious object was small and white object. He walked over to it, and to his surprise he noted that it was a sharp, ivory, pointed tooth. How odd, he thought. He nudged the foreign object timidly. It flipped over to reveal nothing exciting, it was a regular old tooth, or so he thought. Io decided to pick the tooth up anyway, maybe it would impress his siblings, a little well deserved attention. He gingerly picked it up in his mouth, gross he thought, but he continued to grip it between his teeth. Io was about to return to his grazing mother when he noticed something else on the ground,it was deep red. Oooo a Rose, he thought. Maybe Mama will want to put it in her mane like the rest. Io approached the red on the ground but jumped back at once as he realized what it really was, blood, deep dark red blood. Io looked around and noticed limp marks on the ground. He nervously followed the marks to a spot a few feet away and from this vantage point he saw a big huge winged soquili, an animal that would strike fear into to most hearts. At first he thought it had just killed an animal, thus the blood and Io was so shocked that the tooth slipped from his mouth onto the ground. The Kalona heard the light thump on the ground of its falling tooth, and when it turned towards Io, Io realized that the Kalona wasn't causing another animal to bleed, it was the one bleeding. Io's eyes bulged and he sprinted back to his mother "Mama! Mama! There's a big scary soquili over there and its hurt!" Io yelled, "Can we help it?" Io asked. At first Shosanna just went along with Io as a game, not thinking that it was actually a large soquili. When the pair reached the spot where its tooth lay Shosanna could see for herself, it was a Kalona. "That's a Kalona sweetie," she said calmly. Wow! a Kalona! wait 'til I tell them [his siblings]io thought. "So can we help it Mama?" "Of course we can" Shosanna was already walking slowly forward. "Aren't they evil?" "No honey, every being is both dark and light."

Fauns and roses! Username: Lady Aria Starstone Soquili Name: Querida (Beloved) if Female *Will be speaking as her. Personality will transfer over* Personality: Curious and interested in the world around her, Querida wants to know the whys and the whats, and even the wherefores. She often has the question of 'why does X do Y' on her lips, she is rarely satisfied with a simple answer, and being told 'because that's how it is' just makes her more determined to find out. Telling her not to go nosing into it will cause a bit of a contrary streak, and you can bet the moment she thinks no one will notice, she'll be off to go get the details. Sadly, this can lead her to seem like a gossip, because how others behave is not excluded from her curiosity. After all, it's always interesting to see who's doing what, and for what reason. Outside of her curiosity, Querida cares deeply for her family and friends. They are the most important people in the world to her, and she really would have no idea what to do if she lost them. When it comes to making friends, she has to restrain the urge to question them about everything and anything she can think of right away, because she really WANTS TO KNOW. If she restrains the urge, it means she actually wants to be friends with some one. She'll try and take time to get to know them. Those that scare her, she'll avoid, but she'll try to find out in other ways about them, who they are, and why such a scary individual is around. Number of soquili owned: 2 (Ayidan and his daughter Cloud Dance) Prompt: A Querida was bouncing alongside her mother happily, her tail flagged in the wind, her eyes bright and eager. She was watching the ants running along, gathering food. Luckily for Shoshanna, Querida had already learned all she needed, at this time anyways, about ants, so she wasn't bombarding her mother with questions. She was just interestedly watching what they were gathering in, which directions they went, and how they interacted. So many busy little ants, and always doing such interesting things. She loved watching them. Every couple of minutes, she'd find herself looking up, however, curious to see if anything new and exciting had crossed her path yet. So far, not yet, but she was sure it was coming. It always did. As they paused to take a small drink by a stream, Querida happened to glance up and see a crow, flying past and carrying a shiny rock. "Mom, mom! Lookit! Why is that crow carrying that?" She ran under it, her mother following her and sighing. She didn't notice her mom hadn't answered, too busy watching the crow. Soon, the bird landed on a low stump, with a hole in it, and looked around, then tucked the shiny rock inside. After a moment of shifting it's beak in the hole, it made a rather satisfied sounding 'Craaaaaw' and flew off. Querida dashed over and looked inside. What she saw confused her. "Moooooooom, why does that crow have lots of shiny rocks and shell bits and stuff? What good does it do a crow?" Sighing softly at the persistent questioner, Shoshana came over and explained about a crow's love of shiny objects, and how they used them to impress female crows. After a long moment, Querida nodded, and turned away, in thought. It was at this moment a caterpillar crawled past, and with a 'Mom, lookit! What's it doing?' she was off again, ready to explore, her Mom at her side to help her learn.

Fauns and roses! Username: ktqueen Soquili Name: Darius if male, Roselle if female Personality: Darius would be a proud, playful sort of boy. He likes to win, and considering he's got siblings to vie with, he likes to be the center of attention. He'll beat himself up mentally for failing tasks, and takes criticism from his parents harder than he should. However, despite his faults of pride and self doubt, Darius has a big heart. He will always stand up for his siblings if there are bullies or other picking on them, no matter how bad the odds, and he tends to be polite around older soq. He loves his parents and his siblings, anyone who hurts them, makes them cry, or anything of the like will be hunted down and at the very least, yelled at. When he gets older, that protectiveness will encompass anyone he considers a) family, b) a friend, or c) the underdog. Sometimes, this gets him in more trouble than he can handle, but this never stops his words or actions. Number of soquili owned: .5! Prompt: Darius loved his family dearly, but if there was one thing he needed it was space. A space of his own! A place where neither siblings, nor father, nor mother would ever find. Earlier in the day Darius and his siblings had spoken about secret hiding places. He knew what he needed; a cave. Thus, the young foal snuck away from his family and searched for a place to call his own. All afternoon he searched. He checked out several caves close to his family, but he found out that one of his siblings was following him. Frowning to himself, Darius ran fast, into a small copse of trees along the borders of the area his family lived in. Seemingly he lost his sibling, and was once again alone. Smiling to himself Darius trotted along, only to pause a moment longer. There was a rock face on one side of the copse, and there, a cave. It was well hidden by the trees, and far enough away that he only heard the distant sounds of his other sibling yelling for him. He had found his perfect spot. A place to call his own.

Fauns and roses! Username: She-Ra of Etheria Soquili Name: Briar Personality: Knowledgeable. Briar is like a sponge soaking up every drop of knowledge that she can find. If there is a story to be told Briar will sit quietly and listen to it, not wanting to miss a single detail. Should there be something interesting lying on the forest floor then she will inspect it carefully. Briar looks up greatly to her father as he seems to know a great deal himself, since so many Cerynei come to him for advice. As she grows she will wish to become a sort of bard, spreading her knowledge to others through poems, stories and song. She is generally quiet and gentle, though if someone interrupts her stories or insults them they will see her anger, even if it is for but a fleeting moment. Number of soquili owned: Two Prompt: Prompt B Briar wasn’t a very competitive foal by any means but the thought of finding the best den before her siblings could seemed to spark the competitive spirit in her. She had trotted off into the forest that surrounded family’s home in search of that perfect place to claim as her own. It couldn’t be just any place she stumbled upon, no it needed to be special. Her eyes were alert of any place that might be worthy of becoming her den. Well perhaps that hollow tree over there might work, Briar thought as she trotted over. The tree was certainly large enough, the gap in it’s trunk was big enough now however it’s wouldn’t take long for her to outgrow it and then her secret place would need to be replaced. Plus, now that she was closer Briar could see how rotted the tree was and having it fall down upon her would be very bad. Father had told her before to stay away from trees like this one as you could never know when it’s weight would crumble under the stress of the rot. “Maybe I will find something over there.” She mumbled to herself and hurried away from the old tree just in case. However there was nothing special over that way either she realized after several moments of searching. Turning she headed north, a bit deeper into the forest. Briar knew that she shouldn’t be wandering off too far but it couldn’t hurt to just take a peek around right? Up ahead there was a moss-covered tree that had fallen over during a recent storm. The thick and sturdy tree rested upon a pile of rocks, laying a blanket of moss over them. Curiosity got the better of her and the foal quickly walked over to the spot. Using her nose to move the moss aside Briar had expected to be greeted by solid rock however this was not the case, instead her eyes fell upon a hole. Slowly she stuck her head instead the hole, which she could now see was much bigger than it first looked. Stepping through the moss blanket Briar found herself inside a decent sized cave. “This is amazing.” Her voice echoed slightly. As she took a few more steps forward the moss blanket closed behind her, glancing about Briar could not believe that she had stumbled upon this place. Though it was dark, some light filtered through the moss as well as a few small holes in the ceiling of the cave. That small amount of light danced across the rocks, some of which glinted and sparkled. “This is perfect!” Briar nickered excitedly. Here she could not only spend time by herself but also practice her poems and stories without her siblings overhearing her. Turning around she looked towards the entrance. That moss hanging down from the tree made a perfect curtain to hide the entrance but also allowed her to see out through the tiny gaps. She had done it, she had found the perfect secret place to call her own, now all she had to do was find her siblings and let them know. Of course she would keep the exact location of her den a secret as they would no doubt want it for themselves. With a final glance around the cave Briar slipped out through the moss, making sure it fell back into place to cover the entrance before trotted back towards her family. “I found one!” She called out as she neared the edge of the forest. Boy wouldn’t her siblings be jealous that she had found a place so quickly, not that it mattered to Briar if they were. What truly mattered was that Briar had a place to call her own where she could sit and think on all that had been learned that day.

Fauns and roses! Username: Ol-j-man Soquili Name: Girl = Gardenia (“joy” and/or “beauty; also a flower that is associated with secret love, purity, and beauty) Boy = Camellia (Genus name for tea plants – used to marry the theme of flowers/plants and Oracle’s namesake, as sometimes the reading of tea leaves was done by psychics to predict futures) Personality: Dreamy (Female) // Contemplative (Male) Gardenia is just a liiiiittle too airheaded to be left alone for too long. She has this thing of believing flowers have not only restorative powers, but act as the ultimate ward against evil (that /is/ why Momma wears them, right?). As such she’ll often be seen plucking several flowers at a time and trying to get them to stay in her hair, wanting that protection and feeling vulnerable without it. Gardenia can also be rather naïve because of this reliance on her “natural talismans”, as surely they would never let her fall into harm’s way. The ultimate sign of affection form her is the giving of flowers and, if possible, weaving it in someone’s hair; and yes, she would do this for even kalonas other darker creatures if she managed to befriend them. When older she might stray a little away from her place of birth, but unless something calls her onward she probably won't stray too far from family. Camellia isn’t so much bothered by the fact that his name is girlish than the fact that his father is uncomfortable with his former role as advice-giver; he really does think that Oracle missed out on an opportunity to make a name for himself, and the foal hopes when he’s older to try and be more of what Dad was to the Cerynei: a figure to be looked up to. A bit on the reserved side, Cam always has a question for every situation, always pondering the what-ifs of life. He’s also interested in finding out if personality traits are really passed on genetically, or if different environments might produce very different Soquili – even the possibility that aromas can influence a Soquili’s mood. You could call him a “budding” scientist. *shot* He also has some organizational nitpicks – pleeeeeease don’t’ touch his things, okay? Note: traits from either personality can leak or lend itself to the other. I like to make that note just so it’s clear that gender doesn’t always completely denote personality, especially if it’s not seen at first. ;3 Number of soquili owned: .5 Prompt: Prompt B (Playing as Camellia; denoted a sister and brother for the sake of the prompt if you don’t mind) It had taken a week’s worth of scoping, scampering, and shrieking (the squirrel he had passed by was very territorial) – but he was finished. Now Camellia wasn’t one to boast, but for once he was rather pleased with the results of his hard work. Pleased enough to divulge that he was happy to take his siblings to it even. None of this “secretive” nonsense – Cam wanted them to know that they could find him in that den if he wasn’t with their parents. Family should always be available, right? “The whole point of a secret den is for it to be . . . you know. Secret,” one of his siblings pointed out as they walked. Camellia just nodded absentmindedly as he led them on. The den was in sights quickly enough – or rather, in smells. The interior of the den was padded by all sorts of plants – usually of the garden variety, pleasing to the eye or to the nose, soft as they brushed against petals and leaves; most were still growing, as the foal had only recently planted them. Towards the back, odd bits and ends had been carefully lined up against the walls to avoid cluttering or accidental tripping: colorful threads laid against each other, an rock oddly shaped like a heart, seeds he had yet to identify the original plants of . . . There was also a small circle of newly-planted seeds in a corner, which Camellia explained would produce flowers that would cushion him if he chose to sleep there. “Wow, Cam, this place looks pretty neat,” one of his siblings chirped as she laid on her stomach upon some of the flowers. Camellia’s eyes enlargened. “W-Watch it! You can’t crush them when they’re so young.”“Eep! Sorry . . .”In the back came their brother’s voice: “What’re these, nuts?”“Don’t touch those seeds! Please, I haven’t inspected them yet!” And even as he carefully made his way through the flowerless patches of grass to stop his brother from pushing something else out of place (or worse), Cam heard his sister’s coos: a particular flower had caught her attention, and sniffing and prodding it before asking why on earth it smelled so spicy? Did it taste spicy too? She should try it just to see . . . “Hey! Stop, guys, come on! I won't get anything done if you mess things up!”The madness of siblings! Maybe it was a bad idea to show them his private den after all.

Fauns and roses! Username:RockerWolfie1616 Soquili Name: Male: Enapay: Sioux name meaning "brave." Female: Algoma: valley of flowers Personality:Male: Brave, strong. Will grow up somewhat foolishly fearing nothing even if outnumbered he will stand strong. As a young one he faces any challenge..he wants to protect his family and grow strong like his father. Enapay idolizes his father, and hopes to be as amazing as he is when he is fully grown. If he loses however or cannot achieve something he becomes very angry and, upset. Female: A soft spoken little female who enjoys exploring and gazing at every type of flower or plant she can find. Sweet, gentle she rarely acts her age..often times others tease saying she's a mare in a foals body. Fair and a bit dainty she tries to stay clean even when she's off looking for new plants or sniffing pretty flowers. Number of soquili owned: None <3 Prompt: Prompt A (Will be playing using female name / personality) Algoma could hardly believe it..that the world could be so big! Keeping close to her mother Shoshana the little foal wondered over most things they passed but, her mother seemed busy so she kept her mouth closed. Soft grass, blue sky, fluffy white clouds her eyes couldn't keep up! She had been out before of course but, never on such a pretty day and, never without her siblings in tow. It was understandable to be so excited...so absent minded as her mother walked on Algoma had paused. Wide curious eyes peered through the trees and brush "What was that? " Something pretty looking had flashed in the little one's line of sight and, she instantly wished to know what it could be. Forgetting her mother for the moment Algoma started walking her hooves making a quiet plop plop as they moved over the springy slightly damp earth. Nothing would stop her form finding..whatever that bright red flash had been! Once she had traveled a fair distance the foal again found herself pausing, eyes locked on the scarlet red thing moving up ahead. "Oh! Wait! come back!!' Shaking herself from watching the mesmerizing movements of the..mysterious creature. Algoma started trotting faster, and faster her little leg's moving as swiftly as she knew how to make them. A sudden loud noise startled her causing the inexperienced foal to trip over her own spindly leg. Her body hit the ground, and her eyes closed. Now she had lost it! Algoma whined, her eyes opening as she moved back to her feet. "Ow! H-hello...?" Something brushed against the curious foal's nose making her whinny and jerk back in surprise. There hanging from a low tree branch moved the wondrous red thing. It looekd so pretty just hanging there fluttering in the breeze, begging Algoma to capture it. Yet, no matter how she hopped and jumped for it her mouth always just missed it! Pouting, and stomping her hoofed feet into the ground the little girl wished she had her mother or father there. Surely they could reach it! Especially her daddy, he could do anything! The sun had started to set making the little one increasingly anxious, her heart seemed to take note as it had began racing in her slender chest. "M-mommy?! MOMMYYY!" Home had to be somewhere! Her mother would never go home without her right? No of course not! Algoma felt like giving up but, just before the forest turned dark her mother's larger body appeared. "Momma!" Jumping a little, she darted to her mother's side listening as she tsked then checked Algoma over for injuries. "My dear whatever are you doing way out here?" Algoma wiggled and, bounced her ears flickering upwards. "I followed that thing! Isn't it pretty mommy?! Can I have it?" The long slightly tattered red ribbon fluttered upon an idle gust of wind capturing both mother and, child's attention. Shoshana laughed softly but, nodded and after a little work tugged the ribbon down letting Algoma twirl it about her body. Yes! She had it..whatever it was Algoma loved it! After the ribbon had been wrapped in her little mane and about her neck the little one looked up to her mother. Shoshana seemed amused but, said nothing in the way of words instead, her nose nudged the little foal forward urging her towards home. Giggling with delight Algoma happily followed her mother back home her little chest puffed up with pride, wait till her daddy and siblings saw what she had found!

Fauns and roses! Username: Satsurashi Soquili Name: If female: Vardina (Hebrew, Rose Garden) If male: Ayalon (Hebrew for deer) Personality: Vardina: Vardina is a bit of a tomboy, eager for adventure and not too ladylike to run and tumble with the boys her age. She dreams of exploring far away and exotic places, but her loyalty to her family will keep her firmly rooted to her homelands until she finally matures. In fact, Vardina may never be persuaded to leave until she finds that “special someone” to steal her heart and take her off on the adventures she‘s dreamed of. Like her mother, Vardina looks for inner beauty and the motivations at the heart of every creature, so she’s bound to have some run-ins with evil characters. Ayalon: Ayalon is his daddy’s boy, eager to follow in his footsteps and be every bit like him. He learns from his mother her patience and tolerance of others, but also tends to be very gullible and trusting. As he grows up, he will become very fond of the ladies, but due to his nature he’ll very well end up whipped by one if he’s not careful. His loyalty is first to his family above all, and his values rarely come into conflict with his father’s. Number of soquili owned: I co-own 1 (so 0.5) Prompt: A (As Vardina) The forest was warm and bright around this time of the year, and everything in it seemed to fascinate Vardina, from the tiny, crawling insects to the clouds drifting up in the sky. She and her mother took walks like this often, and as always her ever-patient mother was asked a thousand questions a minute. “What makes the grass taste good? Why can’t we eat the rocks too? Why did the wind stop? How long does it take the tress to grow so big?” Vardina could rarely be stopped, and when she was at her most enthusiastic she rarely waited even for an answer, too curious to keep exploring. Shoshana tended to walk a little slower than Vardina, who moved at a perpetual gallop-skitter sort of gait, so a lot of the time her mother was circled quite a lot by the eager foal. Today, however, Vardina fond something that made her stop in her tracks. “Why is this growing here?” Vardina suddenly piped, glancing at her mother. Shoshana’s daughter rarely stopped fully, and that alone was enough to make the mare pause and wonder what she was so curious about. And then she saw what it was; a red wild rose growing out of a bush along the path they had taken. “It’s growing in the ground like all other plants, dear,” Shoshana replied, but this apparently wasn’t what Vardina wanted to know. “No, I mean, why here?” The source of Vardina’s confusion, it seemed, was that she had only ever seen roses like that in her mother’s tail and head, and she had always thought that’s where they came from all along. To see one growing wild was not what she had expected. “There are different kinds of roses all over the world,” Shoshana told her, and watched her daughter’s eyes widen as she thought of it. “Pink ones, white and yellow, different shapes, different scents…” “I want to see them all…” The young foal replied finally, gazing at the wild rose with what seemed like awe. Before then, it seemed, she had never thought of the world outside the Kiwani lands, and that it might be different from what she knew. After all, she was still very young. “Maybe you will, one day,” Shoshana told her daughter, who listened with wide-eyed exuberance. “I will,” Vardina spoke, sounding firm and yet so naïve, “I want to see everything! And then I will come home and tell you all about it.” And with that, Vardina took one last long look at the wild rose, before picking it carefully from the bush and bringing it to her mother to place on her tail with the others. They looked so similar, and yet slightly different from hers. Who knew what other kind of things there were, even besides flowers? What kinds of lands to explore and creatures to meet and befriend? That day, Vardina decided that her destiny was to be the first Soquili to see it all.

Fauns and roses! Username: Scaramouche Fandango Soquili Name: Girl: Abibit Boy: Tzemach Since Shoshana is Hebrew for lily or rose and Oracle means one who can predict the future, I wanted to find a name that reflects them both. The boy's name is Tzemach, which means the act of blooming. It reflects both the mother's name and the father's sense of things to come. A flower which is blooming is not yet a flower; rather, it is a potential flower. The girl's name, Abibit, means little spring. Flowers grow in the spring, which is the season to come. Personality: The child in this basket will first and foremost be docile in temper- a serene little philosopher. He or she was raised around beauty, and will appreciate the finer things in life. The kindness of his or her parents will be apparent, but Shoshanna's adventuring spirit seems to have been lost on this little one. The foal will be at first skittish and frightened of new things; however, this will temper out over time to manifest as a rational, cautious nature.
Number of soquili owned: 1 Prompt: (Note: for the sake of the RP, I will be using the female name and gender.)
As her siblings raced around the snowy meadow, kicking up the snow and causing a ruckus, Abibit ignored them for the sake of her secrets. She cradled them in the crook of her leg, admiring them. These were the treasures she'd collected during her life. They were few, but they were lovely. A sleek, slippery black stone from the river- a diamond in the rough, beauty tempered by time and patience. A tiny bird's nest with two cracked eggshells- a sign of tiny lives well-lived. The fragile-but-tough sloughed-off skin of a snake- a note that change is necessary. Her treasures. Her hidden things. The little things whose worth was greater than gold or grass, but whose significance was nearly impossible to explain. She carefully arranged them, then rearranged them, then rose to her feet and whinnied angrily when a misplaced wave of snow from a sibling's hoof washed over them, stinging her eyes and partially burying the treasures in the snow. Sighing to herself, she picked them up and trotted away.
She wasn't really angry with her siblings. Not at all. They were just playing and did not mean to do it. On any other afternoon, she would have joined them, kicking and frolicking in the pale winter sun. But today, she simply wanted to contemplate her treasures. Alone. In the quiet. And it was never quiet when you were one of three children. She adored her siblings, but... they could be simply dreadful sometimes. She was certain that this was just soquili nature, and that all siblings could be dreadful sometimes; however, this did not change the fact that at times, she just needed to be away from them and all their noise.
She'd met a foal once while traveling with their mother. A child of the wind, he was, and as bold as she was reserved. He'd shown her his secret place, a premise which worried her. It had been a small cavern, a pocket in the limestone, one of the Earth's hiccups set in rock. He'd shown it off with great pride, and she'd certainly taken an interest. Something like that would be ideal, perhaps. A place where she could go to be alone, a place to store her treasures permanently. She often worried about damaging them, carrying them about as she did. It would be nice to have a permanent home for them.
But wasn't half their beauty in their ephemeral nature? Didn't she treasure them more because they could be lost or sullied? As she stopped to rest beneath the snow-drenched boughs of a softly whistling pine tree, she decided this merited greater consideration. She feared that having a secret den would shut her off from the world. If she holed up in a nook or cranny, she'd never see the beauty outside. What she really needed was just a place to lie down and meditate for a while- someplace where she could look out and see her mother's mane blowing in the wind or her father's proud antlers flashing in the sun. Her true secret haven could be her own mind, her quiet thoughts that came with the silence. She needed shelter far more so than a hiding place. That would be good enough.
Leaning into the trunk of the tree, she watched the world revolve around her family. Her siblings continued to play, forgetting her little outburst. Her father rubbed his antlers against the bark of a leafless tree, while her mother uncovered a patch of frozen grass to eat. These sights comforted her almost as much as the stone, nest, and skin. Yes, she didn't really need a secret place. Her haven was here, under the snow-feathere pines. In a way, it was the most secret of secret places- a secret in plain sight. Smiling to herself, she arranged her treasures on the ground. Stone, nest, skin. Being patient at home makes harmonious change. Stone, skin, nest. The best changes come from within. Nest, stone, skin. My family will never know my lovely secret. And that's the most secret secret there is.
