Well, I think part of the problem is Mineko Ohkami-san is also kinda slow in putting out new issues. And we (the American/And everywhere other than Japan) are 'catching up' to the Japanese readers.
*sigh* No solutions in sight.
Oh well. Back to beating people! twisted

Mine is a scary story...
I was in the 11th grade in my first art class. I spotted this girl who was drawing some anime art and I randomly sat by her. (I stalk anime people..XXDD) I asked her about her art and she cut me off by...SHOVING DK #11 IN MY FACE! She asked me if I had read anything dealing with the series and I said no. She then began to ramble on endlessly about how cute Alfeegi was and she then turned to...that page where that....certain incident happened and started giggling maniacally. I was ready to run away from her then, but she promised to bring Book #1 for me to read the next day. She did...and now she's one of my best friends and I've been a Dragon Knights fan ever since. (It's been about a year and a half now...) Too bad she ruined one of the hugest spoilers in the story for me but I forgive her...

lol! Thats actually a really cool story!!! (to me) lol What a great way to be introduced to dk!!! lol Man but she really did ruine that part for you.... xp lol anyway yeah! cool story!!! xd

I let one of my friends borrow my Sailor Moon CD(lame?) she lost it, and gave me DK to replace them. I've read them both about 1,000,000 times.... not exagerating. then I started borrowing from my best friends little sis who has nearly the whole series... I'm going to kill her for losing 18, I'm so lost now...

I agree with Sexy_Sessy. How can you lose a manga? If I had all the DK volumes I wouldn't let anybody keep them away from me!

Jisen Meizuki Karill *chases after AdmH, armed with a meat tenderizer, his blood banking book (that thing weighs a ton!) and Deathscythe's scythe (Yes, I have been binging on G Wing)* Sexy_Sessy Yay!! just like 1 more month!!!!!! *siiigh* They take WAY too long to put out new volumes. I mean, come on, when was 21 released? November of last year?! stressed *seeing Karill chasing AdmH with various weapons in his arms* eek Yeah, I agree with you. Back to beating people! twisted *makes chase* Well.... the more Tokyopop gets their handson the longer the wait. Sorry, boys and girls. But as far as I know no more than 25 volumes have been releasedin Japan, 26might be coming soon.... but I don't know. Depends on how fast Ohkami-san works and what other jobs she has. She's a cover artist too for many people and has one other manga onher own (that I know of) but that one hasn't had an updatein years (Lumen Lunae) so I don't think anyone needs to worry about that one taking up her time. But fatal Error might take some of her time too, she the artist of it, so... But the longer wait that Tokyopop gives you will be GOOD... because when Tokyopop actually DO come up alongside the Japanese manga in this race....... there's gonna be one hell of a wait for the next volume.... Maybe even a year or a half year between ever volume. WHo knows. I'm just preparing you guys. Haha! I waited for about two years for another manga (not from Tokyopop) before I bought the two next volumes in Japan, god, I was really irritated by then that they hadn't been translated by then. My story, don't know if I have told it, is nothing big.... XD;;; I gotta make my sister tell hers because SHE was the one who bought the manga first and Ijust borrowed them fromher. Up til volume 6 that is, then it became a bit too dark for interesting her and so I bought the volumes from her that she already had and continued it myself.

I got into it when the English translation first came out (whatever year that was); I bought my copy at Borders.
I was browsing for a certain manga (can't remember what title now) and I just happended to come across DK.
I grabbed my original manga and made to leave, but went back for DK because I liked the art and the book was cheap enough. I figured, 'what the hell?'
It is now my largest collection; some series I start but don't continue, but with DK I had to have the next book. ^_^

my best friend shoved the frist three volumes in my face and after reading the first page I was hooked, now im ordering volume 1-10 with the $50 giftcard I got for me b-day

Three years ago, I was obsessed with fantasy, had a lot of money and didn't know what to buy. So I bought the first two volumes out of impulse. Nest day I bought five more. And soon after I had caught up with the Tokyopop release of it.
And since then it's been my favourite manga. <3
ME WANTS VOLUME 25!! ='O Dammit, Tokyopop releases it August 14th.... >.>
