Oracle had paced the area immediately outside the den so hard there were rivets. Every possible horrible and tragic outcome had floated through his head - some stillborn foals to complication on Shoshana's end. But finally the worst was over, and he was called into the den to meet his children. Relief flooded over him as she raced inside, stopping dead in his tracks as he saw his beautiful Sho and three lovely baskets there beside her.
"Wow..." he breathed, coming up next to her, gently sweeping away her heavy mane from her neck, nuzzling her affectionately. "Three... they are so beautiful, Shoshana..."
He lay down behind her, resting his neck over her shoulders, still staring at the three baskets, wondering to himself what the foals inside may look like.

Each basket had taken on the colors of the foals they held though it didn't make much for actually knowing what their young would look like. She was proud of herself for doing well with everything. Pointing with her nose to a white basket she gave a small giggle. "That one looks like it may be a little Oracle Jr." She teased as she nuzzled it gently. She admired her young even if they were kept hidden from view in their secure baskets. Still she cooed over them, resting her head in the grass with a yawn and closing her eyes. Just because she hadn't had any complications didn't mean it hadn't taken it out of her. Sleep sounded all too well at this time. With Oracle there to watch over them as she slept, she felt confident in dozing. There would be more time for them to rejoice when she'd gotten her energy back up.

"Oracle, Jr.?" He smiled a bit sheepishly, peering over her shoulder to look at the litlte while basket. "Perhaps... you know where I come from, pure white offspring are rare...and considered good Omens. That's why my parents named me Oracle." He shook his head a little bit, "But no, I'm just a regular stallion..."
He rolled his shoulders in sort of a shrug and nuzzled her neck, settling in behind her, protectively. "You should rest," he whispered close to ear, "I'll be right here when you wake up."
