Christof nervously tapped his fingers together, looking over the dormitory with anxiety. If they were wrong, would they get chased off again? He was pretty sure he had a torn seam from leaping over the shrub before he really aught to tend to. Maybe they should look for any signage first. Timidly, he sidestepped from the demon, looking over the fence and windows for any sign. How did one know the Undead Dorms anyway? He assumed the smell would be a good clue... That was when he noticed an interesting set of leaves quivering out along the nearby fence, and quickly used this to bide their time, motioning her over to see.

Tsetsiliya was glancing around for a sign. Just whose dorm was this? It certainly did not seem like the dorm for the undead, but there could be no harm in asking.. even if it did make her nervous.
But before any of these ideas could come to fruition, Christof pointed up at a few falling leaves near the wrought-iron fence. Her small face lit up in curiosity, and she reached out to catch them between her knobbly fingers. The leaves were large and russet-toned, their edges chewed by some small insect.
"These are very handsome oak leaves," she mused, smiling, and tucked them into her basket. That, in turn, drew her eye back to the fence, where curls of ivy were growing. "Ah, creeping vine!" Tsetsiliya moved closer, tracing the stems along the bars towards the ground. Tucking her skirt underneath her, as though forgetting where she was and what she was supposed to be doing, she began sifting through the dirt at the base of the fence with her nails, seeking the seeds. "These will be nice, very much." She looked up to Christof gratefully. Her first venture out was producing good results already!

As though working on instinct, the hunchback dropped his bag, pulling his shovel off of his shoulder to gently tap her aside. He was equipped for this, and it was better than the lady getting her fingers dirty! Anxious to take over, his shovel's blade just missing Tsetsiliya's fingers by a hair's width, slicing down into the soil and under the roots.

Tsetsiliya barely had time to gasp and jump back as Christof shuffled her aside and dove at the soil, shovel at the ready. She was a little breathless from the surprise but she had to admire his determination. He went about his task so diligently! The fact that he was so eager to help nearly washed over the anxiety she felt about almost losing a finger or two.
"Please take care.. the seeds.." she reminded him gently, watching over his shoulder as the dirt went flying this way and that.

((DERP I totally forgot about my regular RPs when the event started XD SORRY HALIE ;A; <33 ))
He hefted the shovel up, balancing the drooping vine's ball of roots in a pile of dirt on it as he shoved it towards her eagerly. Who needed seeds when you could have the whole plant? He was being so useful already! He could tell he was going to like it here.

Tsetsiliya watched the teetering bundle of roots on the shovel and eagerly scooped them into her empty basket. The dirt coated her hands nicely as she packed the darling plant nice and snugly. She sighed happily, feeling the dirt between her fingers - it had been a while!
"T-thank you!" she stammered with a smile at Christof. He really was a kind person, and she found herself liking him already. "S-shall we ask inside?" She pointed her gnarled finger at the door of the dormitory. "Although.. I am very much unsure if this is the undead dormitory.." Something about it didn't seem very, well, undead-esque.

He glanced around himself, brows furrowing in concentration as he tried to find any sign of.... well, a sign. Maybe not where they were standing. Going in seemed like a risky idea, considering what had happened at the Demon Dorm. He pulled out his informational pamphlet once more, looking over the map and then back the way they had come in a sad attempt to figure out which path was what. Which was North again? Hell. No, it said here that the undead dorms came equipped with comforts for their species, so that meant it had to be at least attached to some sort of crypt. You could usually smell them a mile away. Here he could only smell.... well, Tsetsi's flower basket and the mud now covering his good new school clothes.
He shook his head finally, pointing along the path with a hopeful look.

While Christof was looking over his pamplet, Tsetsiliya was glancing towards the dorm doubtfully. Without knowing it, she was thinking along the same lines as the undead boy - it certainly didn't seem like the undead dormitories. The demon dorms were certainly, for lack of a better word, telling of just who lived there (what could she say other than her fellows were a very extravagant lot?).
Turning her attention back towards Christof, she studied the pamphlet from around his shoulder. If anything.. this might be the reaper dormitories. It could possibly be the ghost dorms.. she wasn't exactly sure. In any case, Christof was eager to get a move on, and he pointed down the path. She nodded, squinting to get a better look at the building in the distance. Unfortunately it didn't do much good.
"Let us continue down that way, yes?" She started down the path, making sure to keep alongside Christof. Tsetsiliya looked over at the pamphlet again and tried to make sense of it from her shaky angle. Two relatively new students who had no rightful idea what dorm looked like what? It didn't help their chances, but at least they were on foot looking. "I am.. I am thinking we were outside the reaper dormitory, yes?"

He nodded, growing a bit frustrated. What a large campus! He was going to have to do a lot of exploring and pray he didn't get lost along the way. At least now they somewhat knew where they were on the map. He turned, glancing down the way the ghoul had indicated before looking at the map again and nodded. That... SEEMED like the right way, he hoped? Maybe they could find more plants for her along the way, it was a nice way to repay the favor of helping him out at least. She was new too, but he felt childish and useless, and having someone with him at least helped take the sting of embarrassment of being lost out of the adventure.

Tsetsiliya seemed to sense some of Christof's frustration and offered him a small smile. "At least we are seeing the campus this way, yes?" She could have gone exploring by herself shortly after she arrived, this is true, but honestly she rather preferred this way. "My grandmother says that it better to be lost with others than lost alone. I think this may have been based on a story she has told me once but I am never sure."
The two moved away from the reaper dorms, Tsetsiliya once again taking them down another grassy hill to the left. The going was much easier than the last hill they had taken, thank Jack, and they soon quickly rejoined the path. As soon as they did, another large building came into sight. It mirrored the last dormitory in style, but this seemed more.. decayed? She chanced a glance over at Christof's map again.
"I am thinking this is it." She tilted her head at the building. She took a deep breath, and felt a sharp sting of cold coming from the building as they approached. Lingering on the breeze was the scent of rot.
This was most assuredly it. She turned to Christof with a smile and gestured towards it happily. "I am very much thinking this is it!"

The hunchback gave a sigh of relief, and an eager nod, debating helping her find her room but, well... he was still anxious about going anywhere near the Demon Dorms. It was Hostile Territory, after all. He pulled his note cards from his pocket, quickly scribbling on one before offering it out to her.
If you need anything, Do not hesitate to ask. ~C
That delivered, the shy quiet boil gave a short bow before lurching off with a feeling of a Job Well Done.

Tsetsiliya gave her new friend a timid smile and a wave as he moved off towards his dorms. She, too, had a sense of accomplishment, and as she read the card she was given, it only grew.
It was nice to help others!
