Yes, some group did this study and found that, up to a certain point, listening to music actually reduces pain/tiredness when exercising.

Nuts in everything? Psh, CORN is in everything. I wonder if people with corn allergies can eat meat that is corn fed. Which most apparently is. 0.o;
Although nuts would suck too, especially if you were one of those lucky people that has it so severely that even like, smelling it or w/e can make you swell up. XD

The word finals means nothing to me because we call them exams. XD
Exams I''ve never really worried about. To me they are just big tests, and regular tests I don't worry about like, at all. I maybe study for 5 minutes before class starts if I think I need a refresher.
The only bad thing about that teacher was that he was known for being a perv. Girls always got good marks, no matter how much they sucked, especially if they were low cut, tight shirt wearing girls. XD

Meh, it's alright once in a while, but not all the time. I don't really like meat anyway, and meat is what BBQ sauce is usually on, sooooo...
PostPosted: Fri Dec 10, 2010 8:59 pm

XD. Music ROCKS!

You're right. XD Idk about that. OMG ikr? I swear that people with REALLY bad allergies would have a crappy life if they lived with someone that LOVED whatever they were allergic too. XD

Aw, exams sound better than Finals somehow. I knowthey're tests but science bores me. Probably cause my teacher yells too much.

Yeah, I don't get that many occasions where I get to eat BBQ 'cause ...I only like it on a certain kind of meat. XD

poor allergy struck people. Scientists should get on that. They have lactose pills, where are the nuts and wheat and red dye allergy pills? mad
I think I would have to force a person living me that was allergic to cats to get those shots or suffer the consequences. I need my felines. XD
Which may sound kinda crazy, but I swear, I love my cat, who just scared me by jumping onto my window sill and staring at me creepily like he always does, more than anyone/thing else.
Food might be annoying, but I could deal with that. I was a raw vegan for 9 months, I can handle lack of food choices. XD

Wooooo pickinesssssss FTW!
PostPosted: Fri Dec 10, 2010 10:16 pm

lawlz.

ikr? What are we paying these scientists for? XD But I heard that they might have a breakthough on the HIV front. Something that can help prevent HIV. But they're stil working on it.

Lol. I love cats too but I love dogs more. Sorry R&R, Sorry Jakie!
..I don't think I could ever be a vegan. I hate them too much. And I love my meat. XD

Pickiness overrules! XD

So they AREN'T being completely useless. Good to know. XD

I am just too lazy to be a dog owner. And they need too much attention. >.<

I wonder which is harder, being a normal vegan or a raw vegan. Hm.
Other than milk and chicken, I did not miss animal products at allll. I pretty much lived off of fruits and salad with salsa. XD
And some nuts for protein, but I really don't like most nuts.

I think vegans in general are pretty stupid. Same with extreme feminists. I was a raw vegan just to try it for a month because I felt like it, and I really liked it and I felt soooo much better and had more energy, so I just stuck with it. The main reason I even tried it was to avoid like, chemicals and hormones and preservatives and all the crap they stick in things. Wooooo farmer's markets. I only stopped being a raw vegan because with two gyms, I needed a lot more protein than I was getting. Still don't eat meat much and mostly eat raw stuff.

Wooo. My mother says I'm just being difficult, I say I know what I like and want, it's not my fault she knowingly buys things I hate and tries to feed them to me. talk2hand
PostPosted: Fri Dec 10, 2010 10:38 pm

ikr?

Idk. Cats are easier to take care of but dogs are soo...adorable!

Is there a difference? Because idk. I love milk! and Cheese! and butter! XD

Why would you think that? lawlz. I'm glad for you! You know what you want. I wish I couls say the same for everyone else. smile Kewl though.

Moms are like that. Once when I was younger and she was younger she would chase me around the house until she caught and would try to force feed fruits into my mouth. I still remember a hilarious grape incident. XD

Lawl, huge difference. Raw vegans rarely eat anything cooked (by definition a raw foodist is someone whose diet is made up of at least 75% raw foods, but most raw vegans just eat raw foods, which is why most raw foodists are either vegetarian or vegan) and pretty much don't eat anything with an ingredient list or prepackaged things, just straight up good ole unprocessed foods, whereas normal vegans eat like, soy and tofu and vegan veggieburgers and can eat some junk foods and stuff.

Mmm, mmm, dairy.

Because they tend to be stereotyped pretty negatively, and the only other vegans I've met are the in your face dogmatic hippie PETA lovers that drive me insane and fit the stereotypes that make people think vegans are crazy hippies.
Woooo knowing what you want is pretty awesome. Unless your mother just gets pissed off at you when you don't wanna eat any of the things she just bought.. and then you like have nothing to eat for the rest of the week and end up eating food you don't really like anyway... Or if she thinks that wanting to take a uni program with the name "sexuality" in the course title is automatically a bad decision and she does not want you to take it.. ninja

Lawl that always works well. YOU CHOKED ON IT DIDN'T YOU. eek
PostPosted: Sat Dec 11, 2010 2:14 pm

Ohh..I see. Because I heard that there are vegans with a soft G and vegan with a hard G and apparently Vegans with a hard G are more hadrcore than the other kind. And now I know that there are raw vegans. This is pretty cool.

My brother hates cheese. He says it's disgusting and yet he eats it in pizza and everything else. tsktsk.

Lawlz. I only know a couple of vegans and they aren't people I know personally. One was a sub and the other was just a class mate that sat at the other end of the room. They had a discussion about veegans and vejans(I'll spell it like that for now) The sub was kinda...hardcore. He was all like milk is NOT healthy for you and he yelled at us for a bit about unhealthy stuff and he's in the green party for politics or something. But he was pretty cool.

I only know some of the things that I want. I know what I want to do in life and what I want out of it. But that's it for now. Right now I'm just trying to figure out what kind of person I am. Cause that's always a good talking point right?

Nooo. I didn't. She got it in my mouth and I sort of chewed it for awhile and spit it back out. I still don't eat fruits but I eat my greens more. But tomatoes are a BIG nono for me. I hate them. XD

I am picky about mah cheese, I must admit. I only like cheddar, preferably old but medium is alright sometimes. I do not like it with other things, but I will eat it if it is on most things, ie pizza (which I am not a huge fan of) or on top of a casserole or something. I hate it with veggies though and prefer it not to be with meat. Ew.

My mom always called me a vejan and I was like NO IT IS VEGAN ANGRY FAAAACE. idk anything about a difference, the only times I've ever heard it pronounced vejan is when my mom says it and in my Foods text book. 0.o;
I suppose their must be some not crazy vegans out there, I just haven't met any.
I have mixed feelings about milk's goodness for you. Some people say it's like, THE perfect food, and it does have a lot of vitamins and minerals and the "good" kind of fat in it, but idk. I see where the people who are like, IT IS MEANT TO FATTEN UP BABY COWS, NOT FOR PEOPLE HURRRR DURRRR are coming from. Like, might as well just make women keep producing breast milk until they die, at least breast milk is designed for humans. 0.o;

Anything can be a good talking point. XD
Yeah, I'm more of a big picture person. There are a few specific things I know I want, and the rest will just kinda happen as it happens. No need to plan all that out, because plans rarely work in life. Like, I know I either want to take either Sexuality, Marriage and Family Studies or Family and Social Relations, but what I do when I get out of school with one of those is iffy. With the first one I'd probably go into sex, family and marriage counseling, with the second one either mediation or marriage and family counseling, but who knows. I know I want to get married, sooner rather than later, but kids are open to discussion. And that is really it. Everything else I will get to when I get to it.

Lawl, woooow. I'm not sure if that's stubborness or a great show of determination.
But.. but.. tomatoes are so wonderful.
I bet grape tomatoes are your favourite food ever.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 11, 2010 7:27 pm

I don't care about my cheese. As long as it isn't moldy I'm good. :3 OMG ikr? My mom occasionally gets these crazy ideas when cooking. I remember once she has these HUGE mushrooms(or was it broccolli?) and she sprinkled cheese on it. I looked inside the oven and was like..I am NOT eating that. tsktsk

Lol. I just say vejans but occasionally cause I like to cause more confusion with my memory I call it veegan. XD I Love my Milk. My brother once had the great idea to put cereal in a cup and that's bsically how I eat my cereal and milk nowadays. XD My favorite cereals are the one with lots of sugar in it. Like Special K Vanilla and Almonds and
But the people who hate milk...that makes sense but if it was so bad we'd die. And we've been drinking the stuff foryears.

I prefr the big picture. When something really bad happens to me I like to think that it will "all work out" and it usually does. I love my philosphy in life. Come to think of it, last year my yrbk teacher said that her philospy to los stuff was that it would be found eventually cause "it's not like it disappeared off the ends of the earth".

I know I want to get out of high school got to college, get my doctorates in Architecture, Landscaping, and Interior Design. I want to get married but after I graduate but before 30 which is improbable but I have hope. XD I also want kids but this is coming later in life...like...when I'm 30. XD I want one boy and one girl. XD

A mixture of both. I like to sneak any tomatoes in my bowl away into someone else's bowl. Like...my brothers. Sadly, it's pretty easy.
-points- look over there. OMG!
-quickly deposits nasty tomato-

Yeah, everytim I tell my friends about my feelings on tomatoes they get so amazed. They're all like I LOVE TOMATOES. Tomatoes are right up there with oranges. ButOranges come in second. I'll drink hand squeezed orange juice as long as it's been drain multiple times. XD Stragely...I love the color though.
....they have grape tomatoes? DX

Lawl that's funny.
Mothers should not experiment with food and test it on kids. Kids barely like normal food, let alone tenderized veal cutlets marinated in tomato sauce and mushroom soup, then put in a slow cooker thing with brown rice, zucchini and soy sauce. Like wth. That is the kind of thing my mother gave us all the time. I still wouldn't eat that now.
Broccoli in cheese sauce is sooo nasty. my mom used to make it all the time. Mushrooms are just gross not matter what's with them.

Vejan sounds so weird. I guess it makes more sense with a j sound, since vegetable has the j sound, but still. My brain doesn't like it. XD
If they made Lucky Charms with just the marshmallows, it would be my favourite cereal ever. As it is, I like Harvest Crunch, Honey Bunches of Oats, Museli and Kashi, adult cereal wise. Kids cereal wise i like Capt'n Crunch and Nesquick. Don't eat cereal very often. Cereal in a cup is awesome. It just tastes better that way.
Yeah. Personally, I'd take some pasturized milk over like, soy or rice milk any day. Soy is an awful thing.
Maybe the milk IS killing us. slowly. And we just don't know it yet. Like smoking. Or preservatives. =o DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNN.

Saaame. Go with the flowww. Que sera, sera. Everything works itself out, it may just not go down how you want or expect. Lawl that's pretty much how I feel about lost stuff. It'll show up. I just haven't looked in the right spot yet. If nothing else, almost everything is replaceable.

Oh wow. That sounds like a LOT of school. And debt. And work. And time. But I guess you can do pretty much anything in that field after. XD
I don't really want to go through a lot of extra schooling, because 1) I'm cheap and lazy like that, 2) I don't have any high hopes or ambitions career wise, and 3) when/if I have kids, I want to be a stay at home mom, if that is a possibility financially. Really, though, I'd be happy working at a supermarket or something, I don't need some big office or high stress, high paying job. Or want one. The only reason I'm going to post secondary is because my little secret dream life is only do-able if I am married to someone with a good, stable job, and it might be nice to have something to do when the kids are all grown up and don't need me anymore. Ooooh well.
..Plus my parents are all YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS ANY CHANCE OF GOING TO UNIVERSITY. THE OTHERS WILL BE LUCKY TO MAKE IT THROUGH/INTO COLLEGE. lawl.
I don't have to have any kids after 30. I want them outta the house by the time I'm 50, thank you very much. Also it just seems safer to have them younger. I want two boys. The guy I like wants 5 kids. I suppose I should be glad he doesn't want 13, like his parents had. D=
I should probably warn him that if he wants that many, he'd better get on it soon. Wonder how he'd react to that. 0.o;
Wooooo complicated but not relationship is nonexistant but complicatedly existant yaaaay.

Your brothers sound like a reeally stupid dog when you put it that way. XD
OH LOOK SHINY THING!

And cherry, too. Grape tomatoes are the little bite sized oval-ish shaped tomatoes, very similar to cherry tomatoes, which are the little round ones that sometimes come in salads.
Not a fan of orange juice. If I'm drinking juice, it's usually either like, cranberry raspberry, or grapefruit or something like that.

IKR? Once she tried to convince us that brown sugar, ham, and dr.pepper with pineapples would taste good. Let me tell you..all that in a mixing bowl makes for a very mushy ham...

Lol. I don't care either way but I like the way Veegan sounds better. XD Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeegan. OMG. If luckycharms DIDN'T have the marshamllows, it would be my favorite cereal ever. XD OM Honey Bunches of Oats! I was gonna put that but I forgot it's name! I love those little oats! XD I like to pick them out and eat them like that. My brothers are all. STOP PICKING IT OUT b***h! -takes more- XD OMG I dislike soy milk. It's o for some things though. My BF loves it. I have no idea why. XD

Hakuna Matata! :3 I love Que Sera, sera. It just sounds so...mellow. XD

Yups! I'm hoping for a scholarship which is why I have to drag my lazy butt to volunteer work. Key club helps too with all their clean-ups and everything. But I volunteer at the library just for their A/C. XD But it get's pretty boring. But I'm sticking it out until I finally get 50 hours so I can work on their computer and help check books out. It was a childhood dream of mine. XD M parents want me to live big and rich cause "they don't want me to live a life like theirs." I'm viet so my mom always tells me what it was like when she was in Vietnam and there was war. It sounds horrible but it doesn't affect me like it should. I'm glad that my mom survived and all...but...it wasn't in my time. DX I'm a horrible person. True. My parents had their last kid(the fourth) when they were 40 which was when I was ten. So they'r onna have to care for him till round 60/70. So the sooner the better. Then we can live out the rest of our senior life kicking it party style. XD

Lol. 13 is a lot. 5 is also a lot. 2 is a much nicer number. OMG. My aunt recently got married and her hisband's dad said that this is the recipe for love. 1+1=3 Husband+wife=Child. XD I was like...that makes sooo much sense. XD lol. He had better get on it soon if he wants that many. I laughed when you said that. lmfao. My mo watched this asian drama where the guy wanted to have kids and he thought" I wish for eleven more kids so that I can play soccer with them. XD My health teacher also said that guys want so many because their not the one going through the birthing process. XD DX

Ikr? They can get pretty stupid too. Did I tell you that one of my brothers told the younger one to put a brain on his wishlist. I said,"While he's at it, why don't you put it down too?" He was all like "I don't need a brain." and I said,"That's pretty obvious." XD yeah, but it's easier here cause our neighbors always throw their darn balls over so I just squint for a long time then point and ask,"Is that our neighbor's ball?" It's a believeable lie. And EVERYONE turns. Even my mom and dad who won't be able to catch the dastardly act. XD But once my brother was like on the computer and eating at the same time and mymom was ragging him so I put some of my veggies in his bowl and my mom and I started laughing like crazy. We waited until h had finished eating until we told him what had gone down without his knowing. XD

Ahh. Well...I hate tomatoes of all kind. smile Orange juice. eh. I like apple, grape, and cranberry, and rasberry juice better. XD

Text WALL! Ikr?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 12, 2010 7:56 pm

That sounds awful. That are they trying to do, starve us? D=

Really? You LIKE the cereal part? Ewwww. Honey Bunches of Oats is liek teh bestest wooo. Bleh, it tastes bad and just plain isn't good for you. Soy sucks.

Yesh, very mellow. It's one of my favourite expressions.

Yeah, my mom wants me to apply for every scholarship I can. Key clubs? 0.o;
I got most of my community service hours helping in the nursery/2s and 3s room at church and doing sound recording editing. I got 110 hours between grades 9 and 12, did volunteer stuff since grade 6, and got another like, 8 hours for helping with a wrestling tounrament a couple weeks ago, but I don't think Imma bother getting them signed for.
Ah. I think all parents want their kids to be rich and successful for one reason or another, be it that they aren't, that they are and don't want the kids to be trust fund brats, or just want the kids to have a good life. ANOTHER FACT. Some study was done, and $75k/year is like, the perfect income, man. People whose households earn $75,000 and up are the happiest and may live longer, I guess because they don't have the stress of living paycheck to paycheck, assuming they have good money skillz they can afford everything they need like food, housing, clothes, doctors, and then things they want without going into debt.
Anyway. I always feel like a jerk for not really caring about things like that. But there is this thing I heard, that basically just says that we are more likely to be empathetic towards an individual with a backstory than a whole group of people, because we feel more connected and relatable to the one person than a ton of faceless nameless people. That's my excuse. XD Plus, ya know, genereation Me and all that.
Yaaay surviving. Old parents suck for both the kids and the parents. Old and slow and can't/don't want to do as much.. Plus less chance of knowing your grandkids.
Yessssss seniors parties 24/7. WOOOO GONNA GET CRUNK WITH THE OLDIES.

Yesss, people think my family is big and there are only 4 of us kids. D= 2 kids is like, K IMMA REPLACE ME AND HIM AND THEN WE HAVE DONE OUR JOB WITHOUT HEPLING OVERPOPULATION.
Heh. But what happens to that equation when one of them is infertile? adoption? Lawl, I feel like sleep-deprivation posting something on his facebook wall now. It's way better than drunk posting. cool
Ah, that makes sense. if only they knew the pain, maybe they would think twice about it. XD Although apparently it gets easier every time. All nice and stretched out already. gonk

OH SNAP. NEED SOME ICE FOR THAT BURN?
Ahaha, good deceit skills there. You should be a lawyer!
Your brother does not sound like the brightesst bulb in the box. XD

*eats some tomatoes*
This talk is making me thirsty. >.<

Lol. Sometimes my mom just puts all the dishes I hate right onto the table and I have to look for something edible in there. Like literally dig it apart. :O

Yeah, but it's too sugary for my taste. Lol. I know right? It's the bomb! XD And yeah, I hate soy, it just tastes wierd.

Lol. Mine too.

My mom told me to go to community college first so I can get all the smaller classes out of the way and won't go into serious debt. A friend on gaia is thinking about doing that. Key Club is like a community service club that is like a smaller version of Kiwanis which is all about Community Service. I'm thinking about joining CSF(Cali Scholarship Fund or something likethat) nextsemester.
I hope I earn 75k a year then. XD Ooh, your excuse makes sense. I'll use it too! I'd love to get to know my grand-kids and my great grand kids! Lol! ikr? Over-population is one of those thins I worry about. I mean what happens when we're too full? Do we just break down the barriers and live in national parks? Lol. Yeah, sleep-deprivation is better than drunk. At least you know what you're typing(somewhat) and it makes sense. XD OMG I went to the restroom at night and my mom came in asked me if that was me I was all snug in my bed and could hear her and I knew what answer I was supposed to give her. She kept on asking me though, but that's probably my fault, it was dark and all I was doing was nodding and shaking my head to the same question. XD

Yes, thank you. XD OMG! I was thinking about that. If I don't make it as a designer I should be a lawyer. I told my mom that once and she was like I hope not cause you can gather enemies like that. Yup, they aren't the brightest, but they're getting there...hopefully.
