She then blinks as she then notices him tripping. Of course she blinks and her grip loosens on the scythe as she then kind of walked on forward to him still holding on to the scythe as she then looks at him. "Nobody...can see me...besides you I guess. I am dead... a ghost.. nobody should see me..I guess you...can say I am the grim Reaper..who knows who, when, and how do people die on certain events... You...must have a sixth sense of a human...or your a demon...a demon pretending to be a human to get out of hell..." She then goes up and then looks up. "You...your going to die in a few months...on your birthday... August 8th... I have no idea what your going to do..but it involves something mechanic."

No-one likes to be told that they will die on their birthday. Keito Locke was no exception. He looked at her in horror, everything else she had said was forgotten. He didn't know who she was, or for that matter, what she was, but they she was, cool as a cucumber telling him when he would die as if telling him the time, or commenting on the weather.
His face cracked into an unbelieving smile, and he laughs, an empty sound, at the girl that appeared to levitate before him. "Ok, ok, who put you up to this? Tell me, cos it's really not ******** funny anymore!" He screamed at her, losing grip on his sanity.It's not true and and it's not funny, he thought over and over again, backing away from her slowly.
But there was a nasty nagging part of his brain that believed her, that told him that it was indeed true, and that on the day he entered the world nearly 22 years ago, would be the day he left it for good. His stomach lurched and tears welled up in his eyes. It couldn't really be true, could it? He glanced at the girl, the pain of the question in his eyes. He couldn't bear it; he ran.

She then waits...and waits.... and waits... She then sees that it's her time to follow him as he should be out of breath by now as she walks along the path to go meet with him again as she then meets him again... seeing the tears in his eyes....it was a little hard for her. "I understand if you hate me... but I am just saying what I had to say... what I had to say....but I have no choice but to follow you until you die so you can go up to heaven............heaven..." She nods.. already sad when she said Heaven to the boy. She then just nods as she still held her scythe.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ He couldn't run forever. He had to stop, finally, outside the small flat he shared with his best friends. He leant doubled over against the front wall, breathing hard when she arrived. His heart was fit to burst from exhaustion. He nodded, a stray tear rolling down his face. He wiped it away and stood up, regarding the strange girl.
"I don't hate you." He said, slumping on the step.
"I don't want to die." He glanced at her quizzically, wondering why she was here. Well, apart from her following him...but why? how on earth did she end up here.
"Why aren't you in heaven?" He asked tentatively.

She then sighs...as she shrugs. "I don't know why I am up there..maybe I sinned and God thinks I don't deserve it." By the way she said it, Kyle would wonder what time period she was from as she bend down as she then thought...can she make sure the boy doesn't die... but that would mean she would go to hell..for saving a boy's life even though his fate was going to die very soon...in a few months... "I'll...help you... you'll live. I'll make sure you will live even through the event in which you would die from... but I ask of one thing back.....do you own a dog?" She did love dogs.. they can see her like Kyle can...and it will be nice to have a small companion.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ He couldn't believe his ears. A dog? That was all it would take to save his life? He looked at her, his mouth open in shock. Certainly there was something else...What this some sort of trick? Her scythe certainly suggested otherwise. The sharp edge gleamed at him in the sunlight. No, that certainly did not seem like a joke. She didn't seem like the joke making type. He wanted to hug her for his words. He had to do something. He just found out he could possibly escape the irony of dying on his birthday. He leapt up and embraced the girl. He expected to go right through her, what with her being a ghost and all, but surprisingly he made contact. Her flesh was cold, as if she had stepped out of a cold wind, or had been dead for a long time.
"No, I don't have one, but I can sure as hell get you one." he said ti with a relieved laugh, unable to believe his luck. He pulled out his wallet, rifling through and checking the contents. <******** it, he thought. His life was well worth the cost of a puppy. He nodded at her to follow him, he knew a large pet store that would have just the thing.

She the nods as she then felt the hug..she blushes as she had never been hugged for a long time... she then smiles as she then sees that he knew she wasn't joking.. a dog was what could help him live for awhile now. She then looks at him as he was going through his wallet... she guessed he rather get a puppy and have his life spared than dier on his birthday..she would get one too if her life will be spared. She then shrugs as she follows him to who knows where. "Oh, and even though I am invisible..I still am as solid as you..so be careful...and I am not going to follow you everywhere like the bathroom..besides that's gross..." She then for the first time chuckled...first time she did chuckle for years...since she can now talk to someone.. "By the way, what kind of puppies do they have?"

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ He flashed her a smile, at her bathroom comment, he wouldn't want her to follow him there anyway. He stuck his tongue out, making a face.
"You'll see." He winked and jogged on, his hands in his pocket. There was a side street that he ducked down, waiting for a moment as she caught up. They walked in silence for a moment, Kei was excited just at the thought of buying the puppy. He'd never had one before. It was amazing, and the little guy was his ticket to a few more years of sweet, sweet, life.
And there it was. The building was modest, but Kei ignored it, letting himself into a gate at the side. He held the door open for the girl to enter then stepped into the centre of the yard. Almost immediately there was a yapping at his heels, a small, very muddy dog was currently jumping up at him, trying his best to lick the tall young man's face. He laughed.
"Hey, Lemon," he crouched and stroked the dog. As usual, the dirt was caked on. There was a whistling and the dog ran off, towards a chubby older woman wiping her hands on a rag. Kei smiled, givng the woman a hug.
"Kei! What are you doing here, you young sot?"
"I need a puppy, Kari. One that'll live a long time." He smiled at the woman, glancing at blonde girl hovering behind him, Lemon was barking at her enthusiastically.
"Sure, sure," Kari replied waving Kei through a fenced off area. it was liked with wide kennels, housing puppies and their mothers of varies ages. They all seemed to be small terrier breeds. Kari pointed to one golden coated b***h, dutifully licking her frolicking pups. "That one there is Lemon's lot" She winked at him and left him to choose.
"So?" He said, turning to the young reaper. "Anything you like?"

She looked at a few as she then sees them everywhere.. of course they can see her so of course most were able to jump on her leg and bark happily.. Of course she thought they were cute but of course there was a sad aura she felt from one of them... but it wasn't with the umping puppies..she then looks over to see a little dog. A chihuahua it looks like.. She then kind of went to the dog and strokes it. And seeing it was fearful..it yipped and bit her.. Midori then stands up and then has her bitten finger in her mouth like a little girl as she sees this puppy was blind.. She then tried again picking it up..this one was not the person type...good she might as well have this dog be by her side..."This is good..."

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Leaning over, he gripped the terrified animal by the scruff, and picked it up. It's eyes had a milky sheen and while it yapped and whined, it's large eyes were unfocused. He realised that it was blind. He shrugged, leaping back as it's mother snarled at him. He cupped it in his hands, making soft soothing noises. Eventually the pup calmed down, but it's mother did not.
He turned to the girl with a relieved smile.
"Here, is yours, no matter what the cost."
He stepped past her, heading out to Kari. Seeing the milky film over the pup's eyes, she said nothing, merely checking the young animal over that it was fit to be purchased.
"How much do I owe you, Kari?"
she shook her head holding up a hand.
"I wouldn't dream of it...The pup's blind Kei," The boy nodded to show that he understood. The woman sighed. That boy always had to be different. Ever since the hubbub with his mum, she thought, rolling her eyes skyward. "Are you sure...? Urgh, what's the use. I know your dad, I can't charge you a penny. You just come see me more, you hear me?" her face was mock stern.
Kei laughed and hugged the woman, placing the pup on it's new lead. It stubbled around for a moment, but with patience and gentle guidance, it made it seem as if functional eyes weren't necessary. He waved goodbye to the woman, heading out the gate followed by the pup and the young woman. " Well, here he is." He turned to the pet shop proper, intending on getting supplies. "You know, we haven't been introduced. I'm Kei" He said, though she probably already knew.

"Mine's Midori..." She responded to him as she smiles a bit...glad a bit that he doesn't hate her really...She then looks at the pup as she then sees that this pup is not going to be like the rest..since his blindness. "Poor little one...." She then was floating now as she was sitting with her legs crossed, floating in mid-air.. she didn't care since nobody can see her besides Kei whom she has to watch over till the dateline for his death expires..which won't happen. I promised that his life will be spared... but what would happen if I break the law for making sure he stays alive even through the day in which he is suppose to die...?She was thinking more as she looked at Kei. "Can I have a Tour? It's been long since I was....in this world."
