Ms. Mochrie let go of him when she realized what she was doing. A bit embarrassed, she stepped back. "Comforting you I guess. It usually would work with my neices," She replied apologetically. The teacher then blinked and frowned softly. "It is alright to cry when you are upset," She said gently but stubbornly.

Fang shook his head quickly, "N-nu uh! It's not okay..I promise my parents not...never make them sad for crying over them! I told them I'll be strong" He said shutting his eyes' tightly. He slumped, "I suck...."

"Sometimes being strong is being able to show who you are. Even if it means showing your tears," She told him gently then frowned at his negativity. "That is not true Fang. You don't suck," She told him with stern kindness. Ms. Mochrie looked at the clock and sighed. "Come on, they'll be closing the gates of the school soon," She told him then offered him her hand casually as any normal person rather than a young teacher.

Fang looked up at her, gently taking her hand. He rubbed his eyes' with his other hand, "F-fine....l-lets just g-go" He said quietly standing up slowly, slinging his bag over his shoulder again. "C-can I have a ride home...I..i missed the bus" he said looking at his teacher.

Ms Mochrie smiled softly and helped pull him up when he got his bag. She then let go of his hand to get her bag of papers she had to grade and her purse. Looking over at him, she nodded. "Sure, I wouldn't mind one bit," The teacher replied sincerely. "Will you be okay by yourself?" She inquired a bit concerned as she led the way to a red smart car. Unlocking it, she got in the driver's seat. It was starting to get dark.

Fang took a deep breath, getting into the passenger seat. "Yeah...I'll be fine" He said quietly buckling up. He held his back close like a life line. "I'll...always be fine" He said quietly, shutting his eyes slightly.

"If you're certain," She said softly. "You'll have to give me directions. I've never driven to your place before." Her voice was always sweet and seemed to be the voice of understanding. The teacher was not one to go off at any moment, so they were safe as she drove out of the parking lot, turning left.

"Turn left at the end of the street, go down Elm till you reach Ivy St. Turn there, It's the house on the end of that street to the left." He muttered looking out the window. "You'll know where it is, it's over grown" He shut his eyes', resting his head on his bag.

Nods and smiles. "So just past my apartment complex," She noted absently. She drove smoothly though it seemed like she was a speed demon. The teacher was not one to let sadness ruin her so the young woman always seemed hopeful. Soon, about ten minutes or so later, she pulled up in front of the house and looked at the young student beside her. "Fang, we're here," Ms. Mochrie told him gently. "Are you certain you'll be okay? Are you staying here alone?" The teacher really did worry.

"I can take care of myself" he said quietly getting out of the car. "Thanks for driving me home" he said before shutting the car door. He held the bag close to him as he walked up the steps almost ready to have another break down. He took deep breaths before opening the door and walked into the once lively house. Now is just him, and him alone

"Alright. Oh hey, if you ever feel the need to talk to someone. Or just need someone to listen to you, you know you can always come to me, right?" She told him before he got out and smiled sadly. Pulling out of the driveway, she headed for home.
When she got home, she parked the car and locked it after she was out. Heading upstairs, she wondered how Fang was doing. She really did worry for that student and she wanted him to succeed. The young woman had to see it through. But tomorrow was Friday, a day before the weekend. She smiled a bit as she walked into her nice apartment and went to fix something up.

Fang dropped his bag onto the floor and walked into the living room, sitting on the couch. He brought his his knees to his chest, "w-why me" he muttered to himself, resting his head on his knees, "why...did my parents have to die..t-that b*****d should o-of" He shut his eyes' tightly. He was lost in the past in his head. That day stayed in his head. And it will always will.

The teacher sighed and called ahead of time. It was odd, but she wanted to go out to the busy but casual restaurant for dinner. The young woman smiled when her reservation was made for 7 o'clock. "Such an odd day. I hope Fang is alright. I'll talk to him tomorrow," She confirmed with herself allowed. The least she could do for her student was help him through these hard times and with his classwork. She then got to work on the papers and grading them until it was ten 'til. Then she got in her car and drove to dinner. Silently in thought the whole way there.

Fang sat there in silence, picking up a dusty cup. He rubbed it lightly with his sleeve, it was something he made for his father. It said :# 1 dad, from Nicky Yes, his real Name was Nicky..well, Nick. He had changed his name to his nickname a year after he made this in second grade.
A small smile went on his face as he looked over the cup. "Hm...Miss you" He said laying on the couch, holding the cup close to his chest.

Syndel blinked. She remembered the day and pouted slightly. She'd have to talk to him on Monday since she didn't want to seem like an odd teacher. At the resturaunt, she ordered her meal, enjoyed then paid and went home. Her thoughts worrying about her student.
Once home, she got ready for bed and fell asleep. Until the sun rose in the sky.
