"White and yellow." She exhaled and looked down at her ring, her face alight with pure joy. She'd never been happier in her life than she was at that moment. Elisabetta turned her head up to listen to him and burst out in new tears. "She was...was named after an angel, so I know she's..." The teen sniffled and forced herself to stop.
"That would probably be best." Elisabetta ran her fingers through his hair, trailing over his scalp with her nails. "What about your mother? Did she know you were going to propose?"

Vincent used his hand to gently wipe her tears away. "Maybe she is an angel," he suggested, in an attempt to make his fiancee feel better. "I've heard the best people become angels."
He smiled suddenly. "I didn't tell her, but she'll know by now. Nothing in that house stays secret. She's always said you and I make a great couple. She's almost always right," He stroked her cheek with his thumb. "But I think she'd like a formal announcement, we can tell her after we tell your grandmother." He looked concerned for a moment, a brief look of uncertainty.
"Do you think your family will like me?"

With her hand immersed in his hair, Elisabetta leaned up against her fiancee and looked up at his face. "She was! I mean, look at us." She laid her free hand on his chest. "We'll visit my grandma and Bailey, then go to your house, and then mine."
Pausing, she frowned up at him. "Why wouldn't they? They've known I've been dating you for a long time, they just haven't met you yet. How about over dinner? That way we can slip it in and make it official."

Vincent smiled. "I'm glad she was," he said into her hair, placing a kiss on her head. "I'd like to meet your grandmother and sister," he added. His sisters had told him about Bailey; she seemed a nice sort.
He paused and considered it. "Meeting them over dinner would be nice," he decided. "Where? Your house? What should I wear? What should I bring?" Suddenly he was worried about how he should look. What if they didn't approve of him? What if-- He sighed and bent down to kiss Lissy.
"I only hope they like me as much as you do."

Elisabetta pulled back and placed a finger on his nose. "First off, Bailey isn't my sister. It doesn't have a gender, or maybe it was both? Either way, it's not a sister or a brother. Just as sibling." She didn't want him making Bailey feel bad, no matter how innocent it was.
She laughed and kissed him in return. "Don't spaz. Where what you want, I'll give you directions to my house and just bring your beautiful self." The teen looked down his chest and growled. "Just be prepared; we have alot of girls in my family."

"Oh," for a moment, Vincent seemed puzzled. His sisters had told him that Bailey was a girl; that she wore dresses and pretty braids. "Just a sibling," he repeated with a nod of understanding. "Like Oliver, then." Maybe it wasn't the best to compare Lissy's sibling to a shadow; but it was the closest he had.
He paused, and stroked her hair with a hand. "Don't worry," he said, smirking slightly. "I'll only ever have eyes for you. They won't be able to steal me away."

"Whose Oliver?" Elisabetta quirked up an eyebrow, then shook it out. "Never mind, I'll find out later." The Lust spawn wriggled around to straddle him with one knee on either side of him. Her fingers trailed around his collar while her tentacles were perfectly fine where they were, thank you. "Haha, goober. They would never be able to take you away from me. No one can." She looked into his eyes. "Not now, not ever. I just meant that its pretty...whats the word...? Chaotic?"
Lissy reached up to playfully n** his bottom lip with her fangs. "It's cold out here, Vinny baby. Why don't we go somewhere warmer? I mean, we could always make it warm." She grinned, "But I don't think your an exhibitionist."

"He's--" Vincent started, struggling to describe the shadow. He gave a smile of relief. "That's right," he agreed. "No one could steal me from you--or the opposite. He moved to kiss her cheek. "I dare them to try," he added. He smirked suddenly. "If you want chaotic," he said, "You should see my house."
"My car?" Vinny suggested. "If I turn the heater on..." He kissed her. "We'll make it warmer," he decided. "Come on," he added. "Before we turn into icecicles."

Elisabetta tossed her hair over her shoulder and grinned, a new sparkle lighting her eyes. "Sounds perfect." She had a very detailed idea of how to show him what their lives together would be like, and though his car wasn't very romantic, she didn't really give a damn.
Lissy stood up and nudged up him by pulling on his lapels. "Let's get to it, Mr. Sadril." She sauntered away from him, trailing her hand down his arm until she grasped his hand to lead him to the future.
