While she didn’t really understand what had made the hound (her master!) chuckle, Kara sat a little straighter when he told her to wait while he paid Mr. Hyde. Maybe she was looking a little too eager. Yeah, that was probably it. She was quite pleased that he had praised her manners so she had to behave in a way that would not contradict her respectable master’s praise.
“Yes, sir.” Oh, yes, a good leg stretch in a place that wasn’t quite as… squishy would certainly do the trick. And Giza? Wow… a soft whisper left her mouth and she couldn’t help but to place both front paws on the cage door, tail dancing playfully behind her. “The sea…”
Giza. A new city. A new home. And new master. The young slave could hardly wait.
