"Because we can't," she told him in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. "We don't have the power to," she shook her head. She was glad he was asking questions but outside of battling the girl didn't know all that much. Still she was going to try and answer any question she could. She turned toward him and pressed a hand against his chest.
"I can't reach into your chest, to the cavity where the starseed resides," she explained curling her fingers inward before pulling her hand away. "As for purification? I'm not sure how it works but I don't think that a normal senshi can do it, I've heard rumors that only a prince, or princess ranked senshi can do so. But then again I've heard only the moon princess can," she mused turning away and walking again.
"Right now we don't have a real leader, I mean there are senshi teams but our princess, the moon princess Serenity, is missing. We used to be searching for her because she was supposed to fix everything, now we're trying to find these crystals," she had started to ramble thinking back to the large senshi meeting that had happened not too long ago. "We don't know how many there are but they could be the key to ending this war, to defeating the negaverse or bringing back Serenity."
She had been facing forward as she spoke but as her sentence finished she looked at him to see if she was following her. "So far two have been spotted but...we lost them."

He froze in place the moment her hand came in contact with his chest. He wasn't used to people touching him and she was probably lucky he hadn't clocked her over the head with his lantern for the trouble. His fingers hand tightened on the lantern in reflex and he was glad when she pulled her hand back. "Pleasedonttouchmewithoutwarning." He blurted, cheeks pink, as he dusted off the front of his clothes.
The rest of her explination made his head tilt. "Um, do we -need- a leader? Shouldn't we, us, however many of us there are be more focused on defeating this Negaverse than finding a leader?" He was pretty sure that you didn't -need- a leader to get things done.
"Crystals? If they're the key, or someone thinks so, why not just go all out searching for those?"

At his reaction to her touch she gave him a look that said, oops sorry shouldn't have done that. "Sorry," she mumbled looking at him sheepishly. "I don't always think about what I'm doing or how the other person will react," she explained. She hadn't meant to upset him, she didn't think that the simple, short-lived, touch would be bothersome.
She had forgotten that some people just didn't like to be touched.
"No, well I'm not sure really," she answered trying to think of the best way to answer. "There was a senshi meeting a while ago, a big one, shortly after we lost the second crystal and everything was chaotic," she recounted thinking back to how shocked she was to see the building swarmed with senshi. "There's a lot of us, having a leader could probably help because really, we're super disorganized as a whole. I don't think a lot of communication really goes on," she lamented, frowning.
"As for why we were looking for her, well it's because we were told to, because we felt a pull in the very core of our being but recently, for some and including myself, that pull no longer exists," she waved her hands around in an attempt to help illustrate her point. "And for the crystals, I'm pretty sure that's what we're doing but it's hard because they just show up."
The only reason she had even known of the first crystal was because of Halloween ball and sheer amount of power that radiated from the building it was being held in when the crystal emerged. She knew of the second crystal when the wrestle Don Diablos was running rampant and had failed to be there. She was determined to be where the next crystal was.
"The negaverse has a leader, it's given them an advantage or it seems that way at least," she said absentmindedly as she switched the topics around.

"Maybe the Negaverse just has one clear goal." He looked at her for a moment before looking back at his scraped up hands. They stung worse now after trying to brush dust and dirt off his clothing. It was going to be hard to explain to his room mate too but he'd have to think of something. "Leader or not if everyone's working toward the same end then things seem like they're held together better."
He was pretty sure he'd never felt any pull to search for some Queen. Then again he'd also been awoken far away from this place and hadn't felt much of -anything- in regards to his powers other than knowing they were there.
"If you've, us, the Senshi have lost the crystals then get them back. Obviously they're powerful right? So they should be on our hands." HE didn't really seem like he was going to let the crystal thing go.

"Perhaps," she agreed. She didn't know much about the negaverse except what she had been told and what she had witnessed. What she had witness wasn't pretty. The brawl of the Halloween brawl had been a messy one, attacks flying everywhere, youma everywhere, and Denebola had felt her beatings and exhaustion for days after it had ended. "True, but from what I've heard, no what I've experienced, is that there are different ranks just like senshi only it's more like a military."
She thought back to the snowball war they had a couple of days ago. More than one lieutenant had circled a higher ranking officer. "They all have someone to report to. Though I can't say if that really helps or not." She stopped once they reached the end of the street. She took a second to look left, then right before ultimately choosing the path to the right.
"I agree," she replied without second thought when he told her that they should get them back. "Though, admittedly, it's harder than you may think. We have suspicions of who has the first one, some say they saw a masked captain teleport away at the scene of the first and the second," her brows furrowed as she recalled the widely televised event. "Was captured by a masked negaverser who went under the pseudo name of Silent Night."
Of course that information could be enough to try and track the new wrestling star down. If she showed up at any public events for publicity...then they would have their opportunity. "The crystals are definitely important, we cannot keep losing them. I honestly think they may be our only chance of winning this war."

He listened carefully to what she was saying. He knew he still had a lot to learn and it seemed like the best way to do it, god forbid, was going to be by working with others. He had to know more about what they were fighting and about his own abilities. If he didn't find those things out he was destined to be useless.
"So, the Negaverse has two crystals and we have none? Sounds like that's a major part of why we're loosing." If the crystals were powerful then the enemy having them was bad. Very bad.
He tilted his head back slightly as they rounded the corner. "Getting the two back from them would be hard. If they've got support networks and a military style, like you say, then they'd be prepared to fight for them. Finding more before they do should be next them, right?"

"Yes, that is correct," she replied shaking her head in disappointment. Really, it was terrible that they had lost both crystals. It was important that they did not lose any more. What the sailor scour found interesting was that there were so many more senshi at the ball but they had still failed. The lack of organization and teamwork was taking it's toll on the forces of good.
The senshi of dragonflies nodded running a hand along the wall. "They have actual weapons as well, those things hurt," she grimaced thinking of that dual-blade chain used against her. "Finding the crystals first is definitely the best move, we cannot afford another loss." She felt herself shiver and ran her hand over the exposed parts of her arms. Stupid snow and general cold weather.
"If you want help training and what not I can help, to the best of my abilities," she offered stopping and turning towards him. "The more prepared we are to fight the better."
