Breathe in, breathe out, repeat.
A simple process really, but one may so often forget the niceties that little things like that can do to improve one's day.
He breathed deeply, nostrils flaring as they took in the cool air that had woven through the new growth and up the chasm to him. There was definitely something to be said for the little perfections in this great big world. It made him feel respectfully small in comparison.
When the mare spoke he turned his head to look at her. Even in profile he marveled at her. She wore a mask upon her face, to hide what was underneath no doubt, but even so... ah, he would never understand females. Yes, of course there were advantages to being beautiful, but what so many never gathered was that near everyone was beautiful. Now, not to get him wrong... he definitely thought that there were a few past saving... but really he could count one... maybe two in that situation that he had met in his entire lifetime. And he had met a lot of females in his lifetime!
Perhaps these females that do not see themselves as beautiful was a fault of their upbringing. Perhaps their parents had not told them that they were beautiful. But this was where Brackenhide stepped in. He was here to tell any female just how beautiful she was, regardless of whether they believed him or not.
"Oh? I thought I might have been able to show you something new in this area. But I see I have under-estimated your knowledge of the area." A bow of his head, "I apologize, milady, I will not do so again." A small twinkle in his eye showed he was not being of the utmost serious, but he was being sincere. He truly did not mean to offend the lady, and wanted to make sure she knew that.

Thesh-ah lacked a few skills one of them was noting sarcasm or humor. She turned to face him concern visible in her features and tone as Immediately she thought that she had offended him or made him feel that she felt he was wasting her time. when in reality she was having a wonderful time.
“No No I didn’t mean anything like that I was just- I mean . . .“she paused as it sank in with a appearance of that smile that he was messing with her. Her lips turned a good humored frown to note that she understood.
Turing her attention back to the view she took a deep breath like the ones he seemed be enjoying. She had to admit it felt rather good.
“As I’m sure you’ve noticed I tend to be so oriented on the goal that I forget the journey. i tend to see everything but notice nothing.” Thoughtfully tilting her head to one side she mumbled to herself “That’s probably why i have no direction sense of my own” giving a chuckle she went quiet after a bit She looked back at him “In short what I meant to say is it’s beautiful and it looks familiar.

The stallion watched the mare casually as she responded. The world seemed calm, and that's the way he thought it should be. This was when the world was most beautiful, if he had to choose a state of its' being. Storms and lightning had their own beauty, but this state could be observed by anyone without fear of being stranded or electrocuted. Perhaps he had just shown the mare something she hadn't seen before, after all.
He chuckled warmly once more, and nodded his agreement. He did however remain silent and instead promptly settled himself down there on that very ledge. Allowing his front hooves to hang over the edge, he settled in, comfortable, intent on staying there for a while. Hell, maybe even the night. He would let it unfold however the mare was comfortable with. One glance was all the invitation or question he asked to get her to settle in next to him. Would she spend some more time breathing in the calm, beauty around them? Well that was upto her.
