Eden kept walking, looking around as they moved along the path, trying to spy apples be they high or be they low. She could hear her brothers whispering behind her but they were not talking to her so she didn't evesdrop. Though if she had herd what they were saying she might have had something to say. She wasn't mad, she had never been mad, she just didn't have the need to chatter about everything, when she had said what she wanted to she fell quiet. It was this this part of her nature that lead to others thinking she was grump, or unhappy, she was neither, well as far as she knew. She didn't know why but she didn't feel the need to play like her brothers, she played with them because they wanted her to, and because foals were meant to play, she didn't mind it but she had noticed her reactions to playing were different to her brothers. Much the same as this apple hunt, to them it was an adventure, to her it was a walk with a purpose.

Crown skipped and hopped as they wandered towards the trees, and hopefully some apples. He licked his lips and nudged his brother playfully. "May be we can get her to play tag?" He whispered, hoping to get Eden to play to but also to distract Paris.... he didn't like it when his siblings were hurting, and they would soon see Mum and Dad, after all they were on this apple hunt for them! "Or eye spy?" He added, remembering that they were meant to be looking for an apple tree but none of them had any idea what such a tree looked like.
"Eden?" He called out, hoping his sister would slow a little so they could catch up.

'Hmm, seems this apple looking is hard business... and a bit boring.' Paris thought to himself as he continued looking around. It seemed like hours had past but in reality it was only 30minutes. Looking between both his siblings Paris tilted his head as he thought inwardly about how lucky he was that he had such a good family and if they were getting bored just like him. His thoughts were interrupted as he caught the words 'spy' and 'tag'. Ears turning upward, he looked his brother happily. "Yeah! That sounds like fun!!" Paris enjoyed physical activity, which was going good and bad for his parents. He had a lot of energy to waste.
"Yeah Eden? Wanna do somethin' fun 'stead?" He looked at the back of his sister as she walked ahead of them.
(sorry for the wait! finals are dooooone)

((Sorry for being so slow I had to deal with life after I got over being sick)) Stopping and looking round to her brothers, it seemed they were bored already, though she didn't think they would find apples if they stopped to play a game. Her instinct was to tell them to go and play and she would find the apples, but that would probably make them feel guilty. "What did you have in mind to play?" She might as well ask, some games could be played while they looked, if they wanted to play a game like that then they could all join in and keep looking. She wasn't really a playful foal, not that play was bad its just other things interested her more, she preferred learning to play, or at least that's what it seemed, she was more happy when she was doing something useful or learning about things for when she was older, she didn't really understand the need to play her brothers had, but she guessed that made her the odd one rather than the other way around.

Crown stopped and looked at his sister, his head tilting curiously at her. He wasn't sure which he and Paris would rather play, or rather what Eden would actually participate in but he could at least try.
"Em.... perhaps eye spy? That way we can look and play?" He grinned sheepishly before looking to his brother Paris for his opinion on his sugestion. "That ok with you?"
After a moment, Crown turned to have a quick look at their enviroment, he couldn't see any apples... had hoped they would easier to find than this, after all the adults never seemed to have any trouble finding several of them and bringing them back to the herd. He exhaled on a sigh and looked to Paris. "You can go first if you like?"

He paused and sat down on the grass. "Oh! That sounds like fun Crow'! We hasn't played that 'ame in a long 'ime!" Paris continued to listen to his brother speak all the while nodding his head in agreement. " Otay! Hmmm... I spy wit my lickle eyes somefin' tha' issssss green!" He wiggled his body in anticipation along with his wings.
As he waited for either his sister or brothers responce he found his attention caught to something off in the distance. He squinted his eyes to see if the image would become clearly. "Hey youse guys do you see that way over there?" Paris used his hoof to point in the direction of the object coming closer. " What is it?"

Eden looked around, several things were green or had green on it, including herself. Stopping walking as Paris had sat down, not really paying attention to the game, she was still looking for apples, but now she wasn't going to be moving far, she would never leave her brothers alone away from the herd.
Looking round when Paris said about something, and not knowing what it was. Moving close to the others again, fluffing her wings and peering into the distance to see what Paris was looking at. Her big sister instincts kicking in, looking for a good place to herd her brothers off to, out of sight of whatever was coming towards them. "I'm not sure what it is but get out the way and over to that bush." Moving round trying to herd the boys out of harms way.

Crown chirped several answer at his brother, "Grass. Leaves. Eden..... eh.... " He glanced around, his eyes still scanning the tree tops for any sign of the elusive apples they had set off in search of. Of course since he had suggested a game he couldn't help but want to play. "I can't see anyth....." He paused mid sentence. Distracted by Paris's words. Something was coming?
He looked in the direction that Paris was looking... but he couldn't see anything. Then as Eden asked them to move to the bush his little ear wings flattened. Eden always seemed to take charge when they were in trouble... there was just someting about her that took no nonsence. Perhaps it was because she was the eldest?
Crown looked over at Paris and added, "Come on Paris.... let's move." And with that he made his way to the bush and the shadows.

Paris continued to listen faintly as his brother spouted answer to his game but pouted when his sister told them to get moving. "Awwww 'den! Youse so bossy some time." He spoke with no hostility in his voice and listened to her instructions anyways. "Kay bro I comin'." Paris spoke out distractedly looking behind his shoulder to see if what he saw before was coming closer or moving further away. At first he couldn't tell what it was, so he squinted his eyes not realizing how truly silly he looked. Eyes squinted almost closed, tongue hanging out as he partially had his mouth closed; constipation look.
" Oh," Paris spoke with shock as he pointed to what had caught his attention. "Itsa big ol' bird! And youse was 'ight Cro! Its was Eden!" Paris squealed happily as his brother guess right in the game they played.

Her eyes were focused on what was coming, but Paris was right it was just a bird, though a big one all the same. Otherwise her expression didn't change. Yes she might seem bossy sometimes and no fun but she had to look after these two, especially when they were alone like this with no one bigger to do so. Looking over at Paris.. so she had been the something green... It made sense really as she was the only green that would be a permanent fixture while they looked for apples. "Lets get going..." Moving away and turning her head round a little again looking for the apples once more. Waiting for them to come and join her before walking off on the path again, she was sure that they would find some, it just depended on how long the boys interest lasted. "Its Crown's turn." Thinking the game might as well continue, besides it would keep them happy and that was what mattered.

Crown nervously stayed beside his brother while trying desperately to see what was coming. His ears twitched.... and although he had followed Eden's instructions part of Crown wanted to be the one to protect them, to be like Maion. To show he could be as good as any of the herd's protectors.....
Yet when it clear it was only a bird he felt silly. "Oh!" He mouthed, still a littlle weary as he looked around just incase they had missed something. Confident they hadn't he nodded to himself and trotted towards his sister, nipping at her mane playfully. "And what a pretty Green Eden is!" He smiled at her before accepting that it was his go in the game.
His eyes couldn't decide what to look for.... something to 'spy' or for the apples they hunted. Eventually he spotted something. A beaming smile on his face he turned his head again in an effort to distract them from his true answer. "I spy with my little eye, something beginning with N!"
