Urias slowly and carefully peeked out from the bush. He wanted to get a better look at this woman. Her voice was sweet, he had to admit to himself, but she was an angel, and he, a demon. He decided to let the laws of nature govern this matter, as they were meant to be enemies, at least, to his logic.

She saw a head poking out from behind a bush. She wondered who, and what it was. From where she was she thought it was a he. She blinked a few times, and waited to see if he would show anything else. She moved her leg onto the branch, just incase.

Urias slowly crept out of the bush on all fours, showing himself in the open. He sniffed the air again, then blinked a few times. He then sat there, waiting for the angel to make a move.

Rayleigh looked at the demon on his all fours. "Your a demon?" She said, sounding alert, and stood up on the branch in case she had to run. "What do you want over here?" She asked, poking her head out to get a full glance of the demon.

Urias got up onto his feet, giving the angel a light shrug. "Smelled something. Got a little curious." He answered. He had some questions of his own. "What are you doing in my domain, anyway?" He asked. He had made most of the forest his home and hunting ground. Seeing an angel here got him a bit territorial.

Rayleigh looked down at her book, then back on the demon. "Well..." She said, and lifted her book a bit, " It looks like Im reading." She said. "All the other spots where taken by annoying kid angels." She said, looked relaxed, but still on her guard.

Urias listened to the angel, then nodded. "Oh, I know how that feels. I had to move out here and make this my home because a pack of really annoying fox demons lived in my old home. Those guys are good hunters, but when they're NOT hunting, they NEVER shut up." He explained. Urias never thought he would sympathize with an angel on anything.

Rayleigh listened to the other demon. "Well I guess if Im bothering you and your property, I'll find another place." She said, standing on the branch, and streched her wings out. She brushed her dress off, and jumped out the tree with the book still in her hands.

Urias looked at the angel, and a thought came into his head. Sure, this forest was his turf, but this girl wasn't hurting anything. He could tolerate her presence for a while. "Well, you're not really causing any problems for me, so, I don't really care. Stay, Go, it's your choice." He told her.

Rayleigh smiled. "Well thanks then." She said, and sat down leaning on the trunk of the tree. She crossed her legs, and looked at the demon infront of her, "So whats your name?" She asked started to read he book again. She was always interested into demons maybe she could get a little info from this Demon.

Urias had an emotionless look about him, which was a good contrast to the angel's smile. "My name is Urias. And you are?" He asked. Sure, she was an angel, but, if nothing else, she would relieve his boredom for a bit.

Without looking up from her book she replied, "Rayleigh." She said looking at the next page. "What a unusual name I never heard before." She said, soonly flipping the page.

Urias shrugged. Of course his name was unusual. "Yeah, well, I'm pretty unusual myself, so it fits me just fine." He told the girl. "I never heard a name like Rayleigh either." He added.

Rayleigh flipped the page, and pushed her hair to the side. "And how are you unusual?" She asked, curious about the demon minds. She wonders if their any different from what they appear to be.

Urias scratched his head, then looked at the girl. "Well....most demons I know kill people without a second thought. I, however, don't kill people much, unless I have a legit reason. Plus, they scream too much and it hurts my ears. Anything else is fair game, though." He explained.
