The male looked into the water, a faint smile lighting his eyes, " I doubt mine would have either, but I will hope for you my lady. I will hope that your faith in your Pride, and in yourself, will be what they need."

He bowed to her, low and with respect, " Thank you for showing me the way Lady Gaelle. Your kindness is appreciated."

Gaelle blinked. Oh! So he'd once been part of a pride! Well..."If only. One can hope though." She returned his bow with one of her own, smiling slightly. "It was a pleasure talking with you, Sir Alasiri. I pray your travels are filled with kindness." Then she turned and started back. Best to get back before Terema woke up. The little bird would have a calf if she wasn't there when she woke up.

" Thank you m'lady," his warm rumble followed her as she turned to leave, his eyes watching her retreat. He thought she had an air of sadness about her, and for some reason, it bothered him.

I will hope for you Lady Gaelle, and your Pride.. he thought to himself, Just as I have hoped all this time for my own.
