Coming back to my senses i replyed " My mother was an elf. my father was a fairy hence the wings." paursing slightly i continued " they where both exiled from their people for being together. i don't think they regret it but they died when i was 10 so i never really knew them. I then spent the rest of my life traveling with my sister until the shadows came..."

"Well" I say as I look around the campsite.
As I notice no one around, I lean in closer, the light from the fire illuminatiing my face, making it a very noticable figure in the darkening woods. I lower my voice and speak softly.
"Have you ever heard of.... the Liberators?"

I look up at the night sky (yes its night). The stars twinkle brightly, as if unaware of the hardships down here.
"At least some things can't be tainted by this shadow" I say quietly, then turning back to look at you and speaking up again "So anyways, I was heading back to regroup with my fellow Liberators in the nearby town of Pavilon. Still a very well guarded settlement I hear."
