 Maria looked shocked when she heard what he said " what's your name?why did he think that?" she said she hadn't noticed his red eyes before. She tried not to jump slightly as her assistant marcus entered the room." my god what happened to her?" he said running over and checking maria. "some mad man came into the morgue and attacked me. my friend here was heading past when he saw me and saved my life." maria murmurmed her eys growing heavy again as she began to feel tired.

Grey smiled to the assistant politely and walked towards her " i already sanitized and patched up the wound, she just needs to rest now. " he said as he neared her he stuck out his hand " you should rest, should i take you home? " he kept his eyes low hoping the man in the room would not take notice

Maria nodded "please i don't want to be in here anymore." she said trying to stop her voice from shaking. Marcus noticed this and sighed before putting his hand on her good shoulder " i'l tell the boss your ill. please get better soon." he said before glancing at grey and leaving the room to get maria's stuff from the staff room.

 Grey sighed glad he wasn't going to have to fight, his eyes were starting to turn a blue color and mixing with the red it made them look purple. Looking at her " What is your name?" he asked sadly as he looked around the room and the dry blood over the table, he was glad her wound didn't cause too much trouble to the other people in the hospital so he just stood next to his savior humming waiting for an answer and for the man to return with her things

" maria." she murmured smiling slightly as marcus came into the room with her stuff. she put her coat over her shoulders without putting it on, knowing that there was no way of doing it without hurting her shoulder.

(( it happens. smile )) maria nodded before leaving the room with him, they headed out of the hospital slowly. when they got outside maria shivered slightly feeling the cold even more after being in the hospital. she flagged down a taxi and got inside pulling him in with her. She didn't want to walk home like she usually did. " thank you for saving my life. i never got your name did i." .

Grey smiled when they were in the taxi, surprised she wasn't freaking out about him being a Vampire " its no problem, you saved min, and my name is Grey." he said softly, he was never a loud person as he looked out the window he watched the lights for a second, then turned back to Maria " Or should i say thank you for bringing me back to life? "

maria smiled slightly when she saw his surprise and guessed what he was thinking about. "i'l just freak out at you later. i'm still in shock at the moment." she said as she sat back in the seat glad to see she was almost home.

Grey laughed loudly as they rode in the taxi, he put his arm around her careful not to touch her injury as he moved closer " are you still cold Maria? " he asked concerned hoping she would not become sick

Maria stiffened when he put his arm around her before relaxing again " a little." she said as the taxi stopped outside her apartment block. she paid the driver before getting out of the cap, shivering again at the change in temperature.

Grey got out of the cab looking at Maria " Well lead the way. " he said as he stepped closer to her hoping she could be warm soon, the cold did not bother him but she was human.

maria's hand shook slightly as she opened the door and headed up to her apartment on the second floor. she remained silent as she opened the door letting him enter before sitting down on the small sofa in her living room. Her apartment was small and cramped containing a small bathroom, bedroom and living room/kitchen. she closed her eyes for a moment still shivering. " please make yourself comfortable." she said her eyes still shut.

Grey looked around the house and decided to sit next to her on the sofa, it was much warmer in the house so he smiled " Thank you.." he said noticing that they were closer now than in the car

maria shivered slightly as she got more comfortable on the sofa, not realising that she was slightly leaning against grey. She closed her eyes and savoured the warmth of her flat, glad she was finally out of the cold.
