Hermione nodded. "Just more about me having a baby, and how I'm supposedly a know-it-all."
"Add them together and they make her feel like total crap." Gina said, sitting next to Hermione.
Jamie, sitting opposite Hermione, took a sip from her milk. "You know I think that they're being completely unfair I bet everyone would treat them the same way if they were in your situation Hermione it isn't right."
(Oh and PS: I only don't use periods and such when I'm in a situation like Jamie's XD)

((Ok no problem, I figured that cause she doesnt seem to breath and talk at the same time lol.))
Trent shrugged and he sat next to Jamie "Maybe, then again, maybe they just didn't like you Hermione before that because you're bright and beautiful, then again that's just my opinion." He said, he could feel the eyes of the lunch room shift to his back but it didn't bother him, besides he was the star defense player, who was going to turn on him?

Hermione blushed and looked down at her food, her bushy hair hiding her face. A group of giggling girls walked over. "You ask him." "No you do it." "You do it!" "Fine!" A tall, black-haired girl approached Trent, smiling. "Hey, I'm Romilda Vane. Why don't you hang with us? Then you don't have to sit with her." her eyes went to Hermione, then back at him.

Trent couldn't help himself, the a**hole in him was about to show in full force. He licked his lips and then looked from Gina to Jamie and finally at Hermione. He stood up and turned looking at the girl. "I'm sorry, but I'm actually interested in her and not some fake, wanna be who wants to use me to get popular, get a life." He didn't even flinch, no sign of a joke as he spoke or even after, he was serious enough to convince the girls he thought.

"Oh." Romilda said, obvious disappointment in her voice. "Okay then...." she turned and walked away with her friends, who had started gossiping about the new student and star defense player talking to Hermione.
Hermione's blush deepened. Gina, however, looked impressed. "Wow. Nice." Jamie smiled, and it widened when she saw Xavier. "There's Xavier I'm gonna go say hi to him bye Hermione Gina Trent!" she picked up her tray and hurried over to greet her boyfriend. Gina sighed. "Hopeless. He never says mean things about Hermione when she's around, but other then that he's as worse as everyone else.

Trent shook his head, sitting down his back towards Hermione now. "I'll get that to change, the foot ball team is going to start treating Hermione like a lady one way or another." He said turning towards Jamie, then looking back at Hermione, and he gave a soft chuckle. "Guess you weren't expecting that?" He said the smile apparent on his face.

Hermione's whole face was red now. She was not used to compliments.
"I'm getting tired of pink. Good thing I brought some hair dye along." Gina said, pulling out her bookbag and looking through it, pulling out several different color bottles of dye. She put them on the table and examined them. "Let's see....Red? No, I had that Tuesday....Blue? Oh wait, I had that yesterday."

Trent smiled and he leaned across the table. "Listen I'm not going to lie Hermione, people are going to talk trash, but it shouldn't affect how your treated. So I want you to do me a favor..." He said with a smile and wouldn't continue until she agreed to it obviously.

"What?" Hermione asked quietly, peekign at him through her hands, which were at this point covering her face.
"I know! I'll do purple! It totally clashes with my outfit!" Gina exclaimed in delight, grabbing the purple dye and stuffing the rest back into her bag.

"Go out on a date with me, just once, nothing to big, just a dinner, we can talk, I can tell you my intentions, and you can decide from there if another one will happen." He smiled, not only did he just defend her and admit to some no body girls he like Hermione, now he was putting the ball in her court by saying after one date, if they see each other again it'll be because she wants to.

He smiled and got up from the table, moving around it and kissing her on the cheek. "You won't regret it Hermione, I'll see you soon, promise!" He said excited as he left the lunch room. He was just bolting excitement.

"This'll be the best thing since sliced bread." Gina said, "Who'd think you'd be lucky enough to get with him? I mean, not that it'd bad," she added quickly, "But with the current situation....I mean...Ugh. Nevermind. I'm gonna go dye my hair." She got up and left, to the bathroom.
Hermione sat there, staring at her food, thinking.

Trent went through the rest of the school day a smile on his face, he talked to the foot ball team they said they'd back off, now it was only a matter of actually seeing it would happen. He stretched as he leaned against his locker waiting he took a deep breath, everyone had heard by now, Trent wants to date Hermione was probably even told to kids who called in sick today.

Hermione went through the rest of the day with no expression on her face. She didn't know how to feel about this. Gina and Jamie didn't help.
"Oh em gee he asked you out how lucky are you of course I can't talk I have a boyfriend but still I think you should be excited I mean how awsome is this you're gonna have a date and it's been so long since you've had one with the baby and all Oh my god we have to tell your mom and dad and little Izzy too this is so exhilerating don't you think?"
"Relax Hermione, it'll be fine. Just be yourself. The worst that can happen is he'll decide you really are a whore, and a b***h, and never want anything to do with you again."
