Marbogast had only went a short distance into the Moga Woods when he came to a small battle between Aptonoth and Jaggi. He scanned the group of Jaggi for the Great Jaggi, but first spotted other hunters fighting off the Jaggi. Marbogast unstrapped his pack and dropped it to the ground, grabbing a small bag and tying it to his belt, then yanked his Greatsword from his pack and started toward the fight at a full sprint. " 'Aye! Yell back if you're out there! "
The Great Jaggi roared furiously when Arwen attacked it. Her ice sword didn't do much more than make shallow cuts in it's hide, but her fire blade made deep, bleeding, nasty gashes. It turned sharply around and smacked her aside with it's stiff tail and turned around to face her again. The Great Jaggi reared its head and made a series of strange barking sounds to alert its pack of the attacker that dared to hurt it.
At the sound of the Great Jaggi's barks, the lesser Jaggi and Jaggia all turned and bolted toward their leader's side. They all stood ready, waiting for the attack order so they could all attack Arwen, who had dared to engage their leader.
Also at the sound of Great Jaggi's barks and calls, the herd of Aptonoth that was still in the center of the clearing turned to face the direction of the carnivores. They all started forward at once, forming a rumbling stampede that head right for the beasts and hunters.
The Aptonoth that was already being attacked was obviously starting to tire, as it was breathing heavily and moving more and more sluggishly. It had rid itself of the Jaggia that was attacking it, but was now weighed down a few Jaggi that had hopped onto its back who were trying to tear into its tough hide.
Marbogast stopped dead in his tracks when he saw all the Aptonoth start to make a stampede. He yelled to the hunters that were in the way at the top of his lungs. " Get out of there! Those Jaggi are the least of you're problems now that they spooked the Aptonoth into a charge! Move!"

Arwen blocked the great Jaggi's tail swipe with her swords. She slid her feet digging into the ground as the force of the hit forced her back. "Nasty beasts." She said with a smile.
Throwing off his hood Trent ran up to stand along side his sister and try to move her out of the way of the other charging beasts. "If we don't move we will be killed, sidle off to your right don't turn your back, I'll cover." Trent pushed his sister lightly to get her moving. He knew better then to run, it would only encourage the Jaggi to come after them, same if he or his sister turned their backs on them.
Moving slowly off to the bushes Arwen kept her eyes on the angry beasts. But she spoke to the other hunters as she moved "My brother is right. You need to move." She heard some one yelling at them to move. For a moment she looked off into the forest and saw another person.

"Dammit Lixue! You heard him, let's move!" Rayen ran for his friend, grabbed her by the wrist and yanked her along with him. They rolled over the ground narrowly avoiding the swipe of a large claw and Rayen dashed along, weaving through throng of monsters.
"Wait! What about the-" Lixue tried looking back but Rayen pulled her over, spinning her around to face him.
"Lixue! Not now! Be a friend to the monsters when it's not a life threatening chore, okay!?" Upon seeing the large stampede, Rayen shoved Lixue to safety behind him and a large tree and redrew his sword.

The Aptonoth plowed through the Jaggi pack, causing them to scatter in all directions. The Great Jaggi was in the thick of it with Apotonoth bumping andthrashing it left and right. One Aptonoth made a head-on charge into the Great Jaggi. The Great Jaggi nimbly hodded sideways and locked it's jaws around the herbivores throat and pushed its right foot on the Aptonoth's side, forcing the plant-eater onto its side gasping as it bled from its torn throat. The Great Jaggi licked its lips and lifted its head to get a better view of what was going on and spotted a pair of hunters taking shelter from the stampede behind a tree. She (the Great Jaggi) snarled as the throng of Aptonoth started to thin as the majority of them had passed. The Great Jaggi stalked toward Lixue and Rayen, killing any stray Aptonoth that came within bite range. Meanwhile, the Jaggi pack was starting to recover and regroup as the Aptonoth stampede lessened.
Marbogast started to weave his way through the lessened throng of Aptonoth. He'd seen four people get caught in the short but fatal horde of herbivores and he was going to make sure they got out at least somewhat intact and alive. It wasn't long until he saw the Great Jaggi stalking toward a tree. He couldn't see Lixue and Rayen from the angle he was at, but he only saw the Great Jaggi anyway. "Aye! Apto-breath!" By this time, only a few Aptonoth remain of the stampede that had accured just recently. Marbogast stood his ground with his Greatsword held out in front of him. His biceps and triceps bulged and locked into his familiar fighting stance.
The Greath Jaggi turned her head when she heard a yell and saw a man dressed head to toe in armor made from various hides of monsters and armed with a large azure greatsword. The Great Jaggi turned so it could see both the Lixue and Rayen by the tree and Marbogast out of the corner of it's eye, but made no move to engage. Instead it reared it head and made a series of loud barking sounds. In seconds, the Jaggi and Jaggia were starting to come in around the Great Jaggi like loyal little soldiers.
