After the connection, GBL got himself back up to a knee to check on his opponent. With Landry rocked, GBL would take a different approach to his offense. One would suspect him to continue the focus on the head to prepare the Moonlit Dance. Instead, GBL made a rush and aimed a shining wizard-like knee aimed for the ribs of Landry rather than the head.

Landry tried to grab the leg he offered up for the attack, but it came in with such force that it landed like a kitchen sink and he flipped over onto his back holding his gut.

With the odd-angled attack, GBL ended up on his side as he glanced over to his downed opponent. The male got back up to his feet and stumbled back against the ropes, holding his head. He held that cocky smirk on his face as pushed off the ropes and walked to Landry, placing a foot right on his right shoulder and aiming a quick stomp at the joint.

Landry was stomped on his shoulder and rolled under the ropes to the outside to regroup, holding his shoulder to make sure there were no injuries.

A retreat? Now that just won't do. Then again, it did amuse the Eclipse. Walking to the ropes, GBL hopped to the second rope to look down at Landry. The painted Lotus formed his cross taunt as he laughed at the man. "Problem, Landry?" GBL asked to further taunt the man.

Landry held his head and tried to shake the cobwebs, slowing down GBL's momentum was all he needed at this point.
Mike ordered the referee to back GBL up so he could re-enter the ring in peace instead of being assaulted before he had the chance to defend himself.

The Ending:
Both opponents laid on the mat as GBL was taken out by a vicious clothesline that stopped his momentum, completely. Slowly getting back up to his feet, Landry signaled for the end as he walked over to pick up GBL. Once back on his feet, Landry lifted up GBL in a samoan position much to Mardy's praise. Unfortunately, GBL kept a bit of wits about him and managed to wiggle free and slide down Landry's back. GBL landed on wobbly legs and collapsed to a knee for only a second. Landry turned around and aimed for a quick strike that was caught by GBL. The male would twist around the arm with an arm wrench before pulling Landry closer to snap on a Cravate that ended with a flip for the neckbreaker.
Once more, both opponents were laid out, but GBL was the one getting back to his feet. Before long, Landry followed in GBL's actions, getting back to his feet. Once more were up, a couple of punches were landed by both competitors before Landry got the upperhand. Landry would soon grab the arm of GBL and whip him towards the ropes. The attempt was only countered with GBL tossing him instead, taking a step forward, and rotating as well. On the rebound, Landry seemed he was about to crash into the Moonlit Dance, but he ducked under and got behind GBL to only drop and deliver a low blow that had the ref calling for the bell and the crowd booing at the actions.
(( Neo, you want to take care of branding part, then I will throw in the final portion? ))

Landry immediatly rolled out of the ring and secured his briefcase, removing his branding iron and sparking it up hot.
"Mardy! Hold him down!" Landry shouted and Mardy rolled into the ring, securing GBL's arms and rolling him onto his back.
Landry slid between the ropes and stood over GBL with furry in his eyes. He raised up the white-hot iron over GBL's chest.
"I don't care about that title...I care about scarring you forever. Tell me...tell me how it feels knowing you will be the first man to bear my mark?! HUH?! DO YOU STILL FEEL POETIC?! YOU ARROGANT FOOL!?"

GBL was rolled and it seemed rather grim for him. Hearing the yelling, his eyes locked on the hot iron nearing him. As a last resort, he would aim to kick the hands of Landry to get the branding iron away from him. With the time, he got himself up to his feet with Mardy still holding onto him. Able to overpower her, He would get an arm free and spin around her push her off. Landry turned around to see GBL up, and it would seem he was going to draw the iron back and thrust it into GBL. Seeing this, GBL had continued to spin after throwing Mardy off. The result? GBL's elbow crashing into the head of Landry, The Moonlit Dance hit its mark.
Landry dropped to the mat with GBL standing beside him. Mardy looked in shock as their plan had backfired. The male knelt down to pick up the iron brand as he would then drop down to his knees, beside Landry, forming his cross taunt and yelling out. His theme played out as the Eclipse was the last man standing between the two of them, but he felt the war was far from over.
