For Sailor Hephaistos the meeting was like a dip in the ocean in the dead of a winter night: a complete shock. Having only been a Senshi for a short time, meeting Chloe the guardian cat and Lyra he was still rather green all around when it came to the whole Senshi deal. As the crowds started to shift he moved towards his own spot, a scout was what he was right? He was sure Chloe had mentioned it, so he made his way towards the group with the others looking around curiously at each other Senshi (and pausing at those who sported more revealing tops.)
After getting a fill of all the sites he raised his gloved hand among the group of lower Senshi, he stood out slightly if only due to the fact that his outfit appeared to be made of chainmail. "So if we want to op-in for a mentor deal who should we really talk to?"

Mid-conversation with Europa, Taranis turned to face the red-haired senshi behind him. He noted the annoyance on the starry senshi, but did not seemed bothered by it. Truth be told, the senshi of sand had a similar look of tense annoyance. "The parameters are all in place," he began, slipping immediately into shop talk. Taranis explained to Foramen how he had figured out a way to tap into the senshi network -- with Derpraline's help of all -- and how now there was an easy-enough-to-manage platform in place. Sort of like senshiphone Wikipedia... but for Negas. "We can make it better, I'm sure, and easier to access," he continued, touching one hand into the flat of his palm. "If you have experience, we should meet up and go over it. I've got some time after the meeting." It seemed like Foramen was informed, and Taranis had no compulsion to do this alone.
In fact, the more, the merrier.
His shoulders moved outward, and he gestured to Europa. "Foramen, this is Europa -- not sure if you know each other." Booted feet squared evenly between both senshi. "She has some hard copy data ready to go. We could enter it in now, get a feel for the system. If you see any flaws, we could sort those out now." Taranis flipped his phone open and started to type away.

Alcyone's words were fighting words.
Well, not really, but Rosalind had interpreted them as such. She didn't like being challenged, least of all by a girl she deemed almost as pretty as she was (but not quite!). Turning to Perseus, she forced a smile and said, "pardon me, but I'll be right back." Rosalind stood up and excused herself from the area, making it a point of heading towards the exotic sailor's team. Pushing herself between soldiers of all assortments, some tall, some short, even a child or two, Rosalind eventually found Alcyone standing among a group of boys.
The harlot.
"Excuse me," she began as kindly as she could, "Miss Alcyone, was it?" She placed a hand on Alcyone's back, guiding her away from the group she was with. "I'll bring her back in a moment, boys, please bare with me!" Rosalind kept a facade of happiness up the entire time, until the two were out of everyone's way. Rest assured, the act was dropped away from everyone's watchful eyes.
"What, may I so kindly ask, was that about?!" She put her hands on her hips, looking Alcyone in the eyes, "blah-blah-blah, I disagree. So, you're saying you'd rather be a cold-blooded murderer as opposed to a protector of justice?" Rosalind crossed her arms and waited for a response from the Costa Rican soldier expectantly.

"Excuse me..." MuCephi separated herself with a gentle brush on Lyra's shoulder before approaching the young woman with the pink hair... the daughter apparently of their queen, she felt the need to speak with her...among other things.
"Excuse me...Miss Chibimoon. I... I just wanted to say..." She hesitated, and then bowed, one knee on the ground for a moment before looking up earnestly with deep red eyes. "You said you weren't... very strong, but I wanted to say that I don't believe that our best leaders, are by nature our strongest Senshi. Please... I don't know if that's how you meant it but it means a great deal to me to know that our queen's daughter is here, I can't speak for the others, but if I owe a duty to your mother I owe it to you as well... if there is anything I can do...though it may be little please ask."

Foramen listed to Taranis' explanation of how he'd hacked the senshiphones - something Astraluna had said was impossible, but Foramen had always doubted. He nodded along, impressed despite himself.
"Experience? Yeah, you could say that," Foramen said with a tiny smirk. Barren Pines wouldn't mean anything to most of the senshi in the room, only the Zodiacs, but it did mean his skills were of note. He wasn't fond of the idea of continued socialising after the meeting was over, but to get this database thing hashed out properly, Foramen would make sacrifices. "I've got some free time, I guess."
Foramen nodded at Europa, studying the senshi. "We haven't met, but I approve of non-skirted senshi," he offered instead of something blatantly untrue like 'nice to meet you'. Nice was a stupid word for a stupid feeling, and Foramen had no idea if he was going to end up regretting this or not. To Taranis, he said, "Sounds good, every system needs user testing to refine it."
He joined the other in whipping out his phone. Didn't they make a social group, seemingly texting away in the middle of a huge gathering?

Her back had been half-turned as MuCephei approached, answering the question that a young man in what looked to be chainmail waved his hand about. "I think you should ask a senshi that looks like they know what they are doing. If you do not know one, I would ask a friend that may know? I am sorry to be little help." She gestured lightly in the direction of Taranis and the senshi that had opened the meeting. They were probably good choices, being as one was an Eternal and the other was showing himself to be rather smart, if a bit intimidating.
It was the kneeling in front of her, looking as earnest as anything Chibimoon had ever seen, that caught her attention and had her swiveling hard to stare with incredulity down at Sailor MuCephei. Ruby eyes got wider and wider, glossing over with unshed tears until she closed her eyes and clasped her hands in front of her. There was a very deep breath, and a shaky reply. "Please, please get up. I...I...thank you. For that. I want to do the very best I can do for the senshi. My mother would like that, for me to help." Her voice was soft, and hands reached to pull Mu to her feet with a watery smile that had all the adoration in the world. It seemed the Senshi of Blood had just now made a lifelong ally.
"I am sorry I have not met you before. I am Chibimoon." It was a second introduction, but without titles. It was the closest a senshi could get to a friendly nickname, really.

"Pleasure," smiled Europa, holding a white-gloved hand out to Foramen. "It sounds like Taranis has already put the framework in place, so all we have to do is fill it in - simple enough, yeah? But there are a lot of agents, and each senshi has only encountered a dozen or so each at most - we're going to need people in the field gathering the information and entering it into the system."
The problem with wikis, she personally felt, was that if you had too many idiots in the system editing there was too much chance for someone to mess it up. "Everyone can submit stuff," she clarified, "But only people who are trained can edit. We need to make sure that no one fubars it."
She turned to Taranis. "How do we edit it? From our home computers, or do we need something else? Do we edit from the cell phones?"

She was saying a few quick things to her team members before they separated into the suggested groups. While she would have preferred to stay with the Pleiades, she knew that if she didn't participate along with everyone else, her words would seem empty and really, that wasn't what she wanted. She was happy to walk with Atlas towards the smaller group of Supered senshi, or at least, she would have been had she not been interrupted by a voice behind her.
Upon turning around, she found herself face to face with the frivolously-dressed senshi from before. "Um, yes?" She replied, though apparently any confirmation of her identity wasn't necessary. With a burning hand against the small of her back, she was already being led away from her friends before she completed her answer. Fine, she thought. I'll play along.
Crystal Academy may have been the best school to learn when an expression was sincere or false. There were many a classy-lady that held those smiling faces high, though behind their gleaming teeth were a harsh bite. Sailor Rosalind gleamed of this two-faceted technique, almost familiarly so. When they were finally in a space where she could feel more comfortable letting herself be, well, herself, Alcyone was ready for it.
"What was what about, exactly?" She repeated. "It's hard to be a protector of justice if each of the soldiers that fight for what is right are being killed by the very people that you are evidently defending. Tell me, Rosalind, have you had anyone close to you die? Or have you known anyone to die by the hands of these monsters? Because let me tell you something."
She stepped closer to Rosalind. "We're doing nobody any good allowing these people, who will not think twice to kill you, your mom, or your dog, to live. Would you kill a lieutenant if they were stealing your mother's starseed, or would you let them get away, allowing them the chance to try it again?"

"I am MuCephei, I'm honored to meet you my lady... I am... you and you're mother's Senshi of Blood, I... I am so glad that you came to this meeting, I have no words I am so sorry." She shook her head blushing earnestly at the smaller girl. "Thank you...thank you for being here, I think you will bring hope to so many." She squeezed the girls small hands that had pulled her back to her feet and despite having been so pulled from her knee added a curtsy, so unsure was she what to do now.

Already, Taranis was eying a quieter spot near the back of the room. There were a lot of bodies moving around, and he just wanted a tame spot to wrap his head around the meeting as a whole. His eyes flickered between Foramen and Europa. "No, it's done all on the phones, and only we will input the data," he said plainly, as if that should be obvious. "A home server cannot be trusted, neither can hard copies -- as far as security goes." He wanted help, but that didn't mean he wanted just anyone working around it.
The technical aspect did not need to be discussed so openly, at least not just then. The senshi of sand gestured to another side of the room and then began to walk there. There would be a lot to talk about, a lot more senshi to get involved, but just then... he wanted to sit down. Europa and Foramen were asked to follow him, but his nose was still in his phone. He did not notice if they followed.
Grabbing a seat, Taranis spent the rest of the meeting answering questions, discussing the new database, and otherwise handling what he thought would be the first in a long line of steps leading toward a senshi victory. It had only begun.

When the young girl, apparently the head of all of this related to a princess of a princess of a queen spoke to him it caught him as a bit of a surprise, he wasn't sure how to respond really, was there some kind of mooncourt way to handle this? Instead he simply offered her a bit of a bow before taking her suggested advice and heading over towards Taranis Foramen waiting for the two to finish talking before he introduced himself, as the Senshi of Sand walked away he would follow. It wasn't like he knew how to spot a higher ranked senshi from another right now and this was his only suggestion.
"Sailor Hephaistos, Senshi of Metalcraft. So what all would we have to do for this mentor program? I've had Lyra show me a bit and help me test my powers but beyond that; I don't have a clue to be honest."

Foramen briefly shook the hand Europa extended to him. "I would hope we edit from our phones," he answered one of her questions. "A home PC is far too easy to hack into." Speaking from experience? Hmm, maaaaybe. For purely research needs only. Really.
Taranis took the other question, advising that only the three of them would have write-access to the database.
"Good! The less idiots with access, the better," Foramen said, heartfelt. The last thing they needed was every senshi and their cat entering whatever they felt like - especially come April First. It might make the going a bit slower, but quality control was more important in Foramen's mind.
When Taranis headed for a more secluded location, Foramen was only too happy to follow. Let the other senshi have their power trips, arguments and declarations of allegiance to a baby princess. Foramen was happily ensconced with his one true love - technology.

If Rosalind were a sassy street girl, she would have bobbed her head side-to-side while going "ooooo, no ma'am." She would snap her fingers in a Z-formation while doing so, of course! But she wasn't a ghetto-fab girl, she was a young lady of outstanding quality and class.
"Not that you have any right to ask what I have and have not experienced," she spat, "but no, I have not experienced someone's death. I suppose it's because I fulfill my duty properly. Maybe you could learn a thing or two from me! Super Alcyone, indeed." Rosalind wanted to mention that she didn't have a mother, if only to make the Soldier of Storms feel bad, but decided against it. The whole motherless thing may have been interpreted as a sign of weakness! "As well, I don't think dog starseeds are at the top of the Negaverse's list. If you've let a Lieutenant steal a poor, defenseless animal's starseed, you really ought to reconsider being a scout. Seriously."
The Soldier of Wealth flipped a lock of glossy hair over her shoulder, throwing a look of condescension at Alcyone. "And to answer your awful question, I would break them. Not kill them. A broken toy is no longer needed and is discarded-- leave their owner to discard them, not us."

The Zodiac Princess caught Chibimoon's eye and as everyone started moving, she made her way towards her younger cousin. Flora trailed behind, having pulled out her cellphone and furiously tapping buttons away. "Mu!" The Season Senshi cried out as they got nearer, identifying the Senshi of Blood with a pleased smile. Chronos too, vaguely remembered having been acquainted with this senshi in a battle and inclined her head towards her, acknowledging her presence.
"My cousin would want me to help too." Chronos broke in gently, resting a comforting hand on Chibimoon's shoulder. "You're not alone." When she had found Chibimoon, Chronos made a pact to herself to keep the other Princess safe. They were the Negaverse's prime targets after all, and Chronos would not let Chibimoon go through all that she had once suffered.
"You know," Flora spoke out thoughtfully, glancing at the metal clad senshi for a moment before going back to typing away at her cellphone, "I think all new senshi should be directed to someone to organize everything and hook them up with mentors. Some sort of leader."

Europa nodded and moved to follow Taranis to somewhere they could brainstorm in quiet, but remembered there'd been one other senshi in the meeting who'd caught her eye. Super Sailor Chibimoon was swamped right now, it seemed, but the leader of the Basterds felt it was her duty as a senshi to interview the princess and assure her of their loyalty. It would have to wait. Europa raised her cellphone, pointed it at the pink-haired girl, and hit "scan." The girl's phone number popped up and she hurriedly saved it. Later in the evening, the princess would receive the following text message: Quote: Princess, my team is loyal to your cause and eager to help in any way possible. I believe you have knowledge that would be helpful to us. When is a good time to meet? -Sailor Europa of the Deep
