Zeeke kept his smile as she spoke of her advantage in net making, in a tutor like manor, he asked. "You can? I'd like to see how you go about making them." If he could see her make a net for herself, observing would help see if their were any points she could prove on, then they knew what to work on. Better to boost your strengths and work on weaker things after you had skills you knew you could count on.

"Ok then." He smiled, looking down at her as he decided to stay put where he had haulted. He wasn't sure what to expect but he couldn't wait to see what she would create after claiming to be a master at them. His smile widened and ge gave a short lived nod expectantly. "I'll wait here then and watch out as you gather and show me."

Zeeke trotted carefully forward, skipping over lumps in the terrain and a thick log misplaced, half way out of the underbush. He slowly lowered his nose, letting out a gentle laugh before lowering his muzzle under her neck to help lift her up. He had forgotten how clumsy foals were on there feet! Even he had managed to send the poor angeni mare, Chandra spiralling down the hill when he couldn't come to grasp the meaning of the shadows.

"Careful." He chuckled. "You don't wanna hurt yourself." He smiled, nuzzled her short spoof of mane and then lifted his head to look around the forest. Hardly any light peered in to it, the tops were cramped together almost like the tree's hadn't enough space to grow between them but the faint songs of birds and chirping showed that this place was still alive even in it's dull appearance.

He tilted his head downcast once more to study the vines she had carried back and nodded in approval. None of it seemed to be threading out and it looked strong. This he grinned at.

At her tone, his lips lifted at one side in to a knowing smirk. Pff, yeah right. He thought, shaking his head, the multi-coloured bangs swept carefully side to side only gently brushing the lids of his eyes. I wouldn't of listened to me when I was her age either and with that thought, there wasn't much else he could do but let her get on with her net making skills. Boy were foals slow and lacked attention span. He must of annoyed the hell out of his siblings and parents when he was young.

He observed as she weaved the net and pottered around as she did so, he gave subtle nods here and there, not giving anything away, praise or doubts as she continued with every thought she had it perfect. When she was done he walked slowly to the net and leaned his head in closer he put his hoof on the corner of it and nipped at one of the cross sections giving it a light tug. It had the elastic twang it needed but he wasn't sure on it's strength just yet, so as any curious soquili he gave a harder tug on which it frayed a little but it was plausible.

"Very good." He smiled widely letting the net go and turning his head to face her beaming, bright smile. "I'm surprised that you managed to learn all this on your own, your quick at catching on." He paused, debating on whether to leave her with that little bit of praise or work more in to it. He was helping her and wasn't one to sugar coat things much. With a sigh in defeat to the train of thought he looked at her with a weaker smile.

I must be getting old...

"Lets get this over the hole then shall we?" He turned and looked to the net over his shoulder. "Don't forget to bring your creation!" He called lightly then moved through the forest once more back to the direction of the hole.

Zeeke's jaw just dropped. What in the name of- Ohhhh foals! With a hang of his head, he gave one huge sigh. "What are you dooooooing, you're not supposed to trap yourself!" With that, if he could facepalm, he would be doing that right now. Lifting his head to look at her, he couldn't help but crack a smile slowly, then burst out in to a stream of laughter.

"At this rate, you'll be lucky to catch something as big as a stone." He tossed out the comment as he moved over closer to study the tangled creature. "Alright, stop moving. I'll try do this as quick as possible without hurting you." He lowered his head to grip the vines carefully with his teeth, tugging at them in various area's to free her. The trap was rather strong, if it had caught someone else he wondered if they would ever get out of it on their own.

"Hmm." He pushed off the ground with one hoof for extra power, finally enough for the vine to snap. Only a few more and she would be free.

"That you do." He mumbled with the vine in his mouth, he hoped one of his future kids would be this good at traps and prnkslike he was... Wait, he was already thinking about kids. With Sato he felt like anything was possible, then it dawned on him. She was all alone with his family that she hardly even knew, he should of been there for her. Except he wasn't... He had been selfish again. He paused in his thoughts then when he cme back to reality realized she was struggling and had tangled herself further.

"... Stop... Ahh nevermind." There would be no way of keeping a kid to stay still he wouldn't have if he was being told what to do all hot headed and such. He just kept pulling at vines and snapping them trying to beat the struggle she was creating in order to free her. At last the vines had been tugged loose and lay in broken bits across the floor.

He should be getting back but he saw that she had no problem trapping things. "I should be getting back... My mate needs me by her side." He smiled, warmly at that thought hoping she wouldn't mind his abrupt leave. "I don't think you will have a problem, only... You will have to work on learning how to free yourself;there wont always be someone like me here to come to your rescue."
