"You're lucky to have them." She looked at the very inticate markings on her back. They looked like she could lift them from her sides and fly with them, but however much she dreamed she could, it never happened. "I've dreamed of being able to fly. Closest I've gotten is jumping."

Lian smiled faintly. "I think you're beautiful the way you are, in all honesty. Though, maybe one day you'll be able to learn to fly? I'm not really certain how it works..."

"Thank you. I wish I could learn to fly. I wish I could borrow a pair of wings too. You have enough to spare." She smiled, hoping Lian would not take offense, but she looked at her headwings, footwings, and double wings on her back, and shook her head in awe. "With that much steering and wing-power, I bet you hardly ever crash."

Lian burst out laughing at that. "That's beautiful!" she giggled. "You have no idea! I'll let you in on a secret," she lowered her head and, with an impish grin, whispered, "I flew into a tree once."

Pahana grinned at the others 'secret.' "I don't need wings for that. I was imagining flying and ran into a tree once too. Bet flying into it hurt just about as much as running into it. I couldn't walk straight the rest of the day." She chuckled at the memory.

Lian giggled. "I've done that too. Nearly gave Pachu'a three different heart attacks. Though, I'll admit that having wings isn't all it's cracked up to be. I have a miserable time trying to get through dense forests because of these."

"But you would have such a clear unblocked view. It would be easier and faster over the tops beause you don't have to go through brush-tangles, or detour over fallen trees. And you wouldn't get the scratches of brambles or anything from up there. Well, no scratches unless you hit the trees." She winked at her.

She smiled at the nudge, shifting slightly where she stood. "Well, at least a walk for you wouldn't be so bad. You taking one step would probably equil like, eight of mine." For the fun of it, she wove around the other mares legs, weaving in and out. She butted her head against the others back leg.

"I may be small, but big things come in small packages. And I call still chew on your ankles." She nipped at the closest hock. and then went dashing away from the larger mare, laughing.
