Zsaria sounded so excited, Zilly hated to disappoint her with the truth. (She hated to disappoint anyone with anything, though.) But lies were an art requiring a talent she hadn't been born with or given the ability to learn. If she could, the efforts outweighed the gain from it, anyway; lying to Xi was what had started this mess.
"No, I fought Taraxa and then I got in here."
Close enough.
"Who are you?"

"Reaver Zsaria," she told her with a curious tone, "So you aren't from here, that explains why I didn't recognize you. I've lived here all my life. My grandparents too, and theirs, and theirs, and probably further back." Whatever their current standing might be her family had a long and proud history, and she wasn't too polite to let it be known. "You defeated Taraxa then? Impressive, I promised him I'd give him a round at me," she paused, looking Zilly over appreciatively, "So you're a reaver then, it's good to meet you." It was always good to know more of her fellows, no matter how peculiar they might be. You could never know when you'd need another reaver at your back.

Reaver Zsaria, she'd said. Did they really have to include that every single time? Should she be doing that?
"No, I'm from far away," Zilly confirmed. She listened to the rest before she spoke again: "Good luck finding him. I don't know where he is. But good to meet you. I don't see a lot of lionesses around."
Nevermind she wasn't exactly looking for them.
"I'm going to go keep looking now. Thanks for... this... stuff."

Zsaria felt a twinge of something. Disappointment? No, she was tired of this by now surely. "Good luck with finding him I suppose," she told Zilly as she walked toward the mouth of the den, "If ever you desire a match I'll be here." She wasn't sure what else she could say but hope that the lioness had truly meant to leave and she wasn't misunderstanding. She had encountered strange personalities in her lifetime but this new reaver outright confused her. She wasn't sure what to make of the meeting and that unnerved her. As she nodded goodbye she made a mental note to check up on this one periodically and find out just what her motives were. It couldn't be so simple as just liking Taraxa.
