If he had been in his right mind, Gunnar would have demanded to know what exactly she meant by her first statement. He was by that time very far from his right mind, and he simply nodded placidly. The blond reaver might have consumed less mint than his companion, but he was also unused to consuming it in large quantities. It was ... effective.
The brown lion found himself yawning and stretching, struggling to concentrate on Zsaria's words. "Sure, he was angry." His words were a bit slurred. "I get angry too, y'know. But Pontus was angrier than me. I didn't like him." He was repeating himself now. Gunnar yawned hugely and stretched again. The ground had grown uncommonly comfortable. Nice to roll around on. He lolled against Zsaria, unthinking that the contact might unnerve her.

While Zsaria usually avoided friendly contact it felt oddly comforting now. The conversation seemed to have run its course, he hadn't know any of them well. Sometimes things didn't turn out the way she'd wanted. Oh well. Her mind was warm now, buzzing cheerfully with little bright sparkles. They were memories, somewhere hidden behind her eyes. Instead of pulling away she leaned into him and sighed softly. Familiar. Strange. She could remember the tree, what was it about the tree? Climbing it maybe? She didn't like to climb, her mother had always said she'd fall and scar herself. Too late for that now. "Do you like anyone Gunnar?" she said with a little laugh, nudging him.

Zsaria didn't seem to mind him leaning against her, and Gunnar himself hadn't really noticed. Touching outside of battle beyond a friendly cuff was mostly foreign to him. Right now, though, it felt perfectly natural to relax against Zsaria. She was comfy. He laughed with her, more for the fun of it than in response to her question. Did he like anyone? Well, right now he liked just about everyone, but mostly his mint-chewing companion. He wasn't thinking clearly enough to analyze the question further. "Sure. I like you. I like Taraxa. I like ..." He began to rattle off a list a friendly reavers, but interrupted himself with a yawn. "Do you like anyone?" The question seemed incredibly amusing in his intoxicated state, and he laughed again.

"Mm, I guess I do," she said with a bit of a singsong hum. Did she? Had he said he liked her? That was nice. It was nice for another Reaver to like her, it hadn't been like that before. Before she just looked forward quietly and did her job. She used to spar here, with her brothers. Before her mother had made her stop. Maybe he would like to spar. She started to stand up, but fell back before she was even up straight. Maybe she couldn't spar right now. More mint? She decided against it. "Did you ever play hide and seek?" she asked absently, looking around the clearing, "I was good at hiding." Or they didn't look. She didn't know.

When Zsaria tried to stand, Gunnar did as well. He listed to one side but managed to correct himself in time to avoid a fall. The reaver probably looked very foolish indeed standing there with his legs splayed for balance and his woozy head hanging down, but there was no one to see but Zsaria ... and even in his daze, Gunnar felt (with a vague smugness) that she was probably just a touch more drunken than he was.
"Hide n seek?" Gunnar asked, peering blearily around the clearing. "If you're too good at hiding, I might not find you." In his current state, Gunnar might just fall asleep and not even remember to look. He aimed a clumsy paw at Zsaria (who seemed to be two or possibly even three lionesses) and smacked weakly at her. "Bet I could beat you though."

Zsaria wobbled a bit as his paw landed on her. Beat her? He could barely stand. Then again, she couldn't either. Curious. She'd seem like a coward if she turned him down though, and she just couldn't have that. She had been doing alright in spars lately, maybe she could pull this off. "No way," she growled, using her chest to help prop her back legs up. That worked alright, just a little more and she'd be upright. "Touch or blood?" she asked curiously, hoping the former. While she had enjoyed her blood match with Taraxa it might be dangerous in her current state.
