Moonstone's furor, while expected, still stunned the senshi of storms. It was difficult for her to believe that anyone who would tear apart a body as thoroughly as the native girl had done just moments before wasn't marching in the front row of the Negaverse army. The lieutenant must be experiencing a grand delusion if she were to believe that she had no choice in the torture of a human being. There was taking star seeds and then there was taking star seeds along with the rest of one's bodily organs.
However, Alcyone did not have any time to retaliate, as Moonstone acted quickly and closed the short distance that kept the two apart. Her hand clasped around the sailor soldier's throat, though not without a struggle. Alcyone tried to wrench away and attempted to elbow Moonstone on the collar bone in the process.
"I THINK," She yelled as she continued to twist and struggle out of her gasp, "IF YOU'RE GOING TO MAUL A HUMAN BEING OR NOT, YOU HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER."
"AND YOU ******** PICKED IT."

"THEN YOU DON'T THINK!!" She snarled, it was odd, you could almost see her shut down behind those almost black eyes. a fervor that was nothing but rage, nothing but fury. She made a furious and pained sound as the elbow dug sharply into her shoulder, the collar bone flexed dangerously but fortunately, at least for the Lieutenant not enough to snap it. The bruise would hobble her though when she was feeling a little more in control, when adrenaline didn't make pain a secondary concern... Her fingers tightened to bloodless points in the dark skin of the sailors neck and all she could see was red. Furiously she lunged like a rabid dog and tried to sink teeth into the same arm that had so offended her by drilling into her shoulder.

Alcyone coughed and wheezed as it became more difficult for to breathe under Moonstone's firm grasp around her neck. Her sight blurred as tears from agitation welled in her lower eyelids, though at least she realized that the struggling and the attempts to jerk away were only making her hold worse. It wasn't even worth spitting out a response, as it had been made very clear that the lieutenant would not see her guiding light.
She was a brick wall, and just as sturdy.
Her hands grasped around the one around her neck and she attempted to pry the fingers loose, only to be bitten in return. The senshi of storm shrieked from pain as blunt teeth broke through her arm's skin, and from the sheer frustration of such a feral attack.
"PUTA DE MIERDA!" Alcyone screamed before raising her leg and giving a very firm kick, aimed for Moonstone's abdomen.

The blow from the foot crashing home into her Gut let the air out in an explosive wave, her teeth dragged free of their unholy grip on the dark brown Skin of Alcyone's arm and her near black eyes blazed like coals as she stumbled back away from her, grip slipping free of the neck she had been so focused on crushing in her grip. She spat, blood and spit and gasped for breath for a moment before snarling back with dangerous quiet and venom. "....áagyaa hl skamdáasaang!"
Her fingers flexed and she lunged forward again with a primal scream that showed no concern at all for her own safety.

Moonstone's teeth peeled off more skin from the senshi's arm as she was kicked away. Alcyone hissed and clutched at her bicep, staining her gloved hand with fresh blood. When the lieutenant's clutch on her neck faltered, she took the opportunity to wrench away and freed herself from the hold. Though her neck ached with a dull pain, it was a relief to be able to breathe deeply again. She gulped air by the lung-fulls, knowing full well that she'll have to wear a scarf to cover the bruise that was forming above her collar bone.
Alcyone did not have much time to recoop, or to think of a strategy. Already the braided-haired hair girl was lunging forward, her expression similar to that of a rabid wild animal. It was difficult for her to move her right arm from where she was bitten, and she was beginning to feel winded; perhaps patrolling while still building her strengths back from the coma wasn't the best of ideas.
The senshi of storms did the only thing she could think of: she crossed both of her arms above her torso to work as a shield, and braced herself for impact.

Tears streaked through the red bar that the young wild woman had rubbed over her face like war paint, but she continued as though she had a gun to her head, as though the whole world hung on what she did in this moment and the few to come. She hammered away at rubs and abs like a human jack hammer running on pure adrenaline and hate. Somewhere in the back of her mind she could still see them, the faces of her family, the danger they were in, and part of her imagined, thank's to the senshi's dark skin that she was attacking her own family. It made her sick, it made her furious and it drove her onward, past thought. She repeated a single phrase to herself with each strike she aimed at the senshi, not caring where or what she hit. Not even trying to do maximum damage just trying to -hit-. 'She'll kill them'... it repeated over and over breathlessly in the red haze of hate and fear that drove her.

Moonstone came upon her, much like a raging bull would to its matador and his taunting cape of red. Alcyone had no such silk to deter the lieutenant's direction from her body, and so she was struck, hard, by the pounding fists of the rage-ful girl. She grunted from the impact and tried to step away, but Moonstone was on target: with every punch that landed on her stomach, her ribs, and her shaking arms that stayed crossed above her neck the more the senshi of storms felt as though her fate would soon be similar to the corpse only a few feet away.
Her legs gave out and she fell backwards, her head ricocheting against the cold concrete and emitting a dull thudding sound. Her vision blurred, but it didn't matter; her eyes didn't need to tell her that Moonstone had moved on top of her now, that she still continued to hit her in every way she could. She was an unstoppable force, the blood smeared on her face dripping from a salty mixture of sweat and tears.
She could hardly tell the difference between her blood and the blood that fell from that angry face.
Alcyone willed her body to buck the weight away, but it wouldn't respond. She tried to hit Moonstone back in retaliation, but had the disadvantage of being pinned to the ground. If the hit landed, the black-haired girl paid no attention. Her blows kept coming down.
Tears began to well in her eyes and streak her blood-stained face. Was this it?

Chloe should have heard the sounds of battle long before now... this fight of fights, or ironically a 'cat fight' as some would call it. It was gaining attention from some less friendly things in the night, things were stirring...it was almost like the moon was red from the gore of the sight her blue eyes gazed on. Feline paws padded as she approached to a scene she would not forget any time soon, a mix of blood and bruising...screams and limbs flying. For a moment there, the little siamese stood and stared at the scene. Normally the fights got bloody...but not THIS bloody. She wondered where the hell all of it came from, this was a bit excessive..no?
A lot of senshi, even negaversers, ran when too much blood occured. These two... looked to be fighting to the death.
Thing is...not on her watch was she going to allow this. Not when the senshi seemed to..down for the count at the current time. Chloe, now mobile again, launched herself into the battle arena... and with a second of light bursting from her forehead, she sent a beam of hot pure energy straight for the negaverser. She hoped it was enough to stun her, maybe even gain her attention for a moment. A moment was more than enough time to try and get the senshi the upper hand...

"its YOU or my FAMILY...SO SORRY!!" Screamed moonstone at the fallen senshi, she kept pummeling, oblivious to the cat, oblivious to anything but the safety of those she had to protect because she'd been too afraid to die that night in the woods...
The burst of light that hit her though was a complete shock, it knocked her off her quary and even knocked a lick of sense back into her, all the pain started to creep in at the edges, her hands, her feet, her head... everything ached, some pains dull, some pains sharp, none so bad as the pain in her heart which was twisted up to a terrible knot...the corruption that fueled her anger was only just assuaged though, and showed every sign that it would re-kindle. Terrible terrible casualties... the senshi could never understand, they didn't want to. They just saw what they wanted to, people who they assumed must he happy, rewarded and powerful...they didn't care if you ran any deeper than that, or if you didn't want this... that wouldn't make it -easy- for them. The thoughts made her eyes burn again even as she tried to push herself back to her feet, she must have hit her head because the world spun like a carnival ride, she spat blood and pushed herself back up on shaking legs.
"FINISH it b***h...." She snarled, that desire that she couldn't even face, didn't want to admit to because it terrified her... but it was the only way wasn't it... fight or die...at least if she was dead she wouldn't have to know that her family's star seeds would be LANGUOROUSLY fished for like that poor little girl she'd been dragged out to watch killed by Nea...no...by Beryl's soon to be Body.
Tears ran down her face as she summoned her mask again...she had to keep fighting... or her mother...her father... her little cousin who was looking forward to their next trip to Canada because she'd be in the dance, they would all die...
She had to keep fighting till it killed her... because she wasn't worth saving.

She could hear her heart-beat pulse quickly and deeply between the temples of her face, like a migraine. Moonstone's voice sounded muffled and far in the distance as she yelled out her excuse, and still her stomach felt the dull and repetitive thud from each punch. She was under-water, unable to see well and drowning in her own failure.
Alcyone hardly noticed when Moonstone was knocked completely off her from Chloe's energy burst. It took a few moments to realize that she was no longer being hit, and for a minute, she thought that perhaps it was due to her body finally numbing itself to keep her from feeling again. She opened her eyes (when did she close them?), and though her vision was bleak, she noticed the tell-tale sign of a cat and the lieutenant, yards away and screaming for her to finish it off.
She didn't even know if she could get up.
Her arms, which had been stuck in the crossed position above her face and collar-bone, shook as they were lowered to the ground. Fore-arms flat against the concrete, she attempted to push. Alcyone's body trembled as she tried to sit up, but it was to no avail: pain shot through her arms and she cried out before dropping her torso's weight back to the ground.
A mixture of pain and shame were all she felt. She couldn't even begin to talk without fear of choking up and sobbing.

That was a response she was not expecting, her or her family? Let alone the apology. Negaversers did not apologize normally..." Chloe shook that out of her head almost as soon as it arrived, it had to be a trick.
"NOT on my watch." She hissed back with as much voice as a tiny feline could, which honestly was kind of pathetic given the circumstances. She was a bitchy resident of the local itty bitty kitty committee.
The senshi seemed unable to move, lifting her arms seemed like more of a chore than second nature... the feline could only guess how bad lifting her own legs would be. Without a moments thought Chloe felt her fur shed from her body and replace itself with more vulnerable pale toned flesh, a larger target. Shimmering blue eyes met moonstones, the now human form felines eyes being hidden behind a blanket of long mousy brown hair. Tucking her feet underneath her she sat down close to the senshi, Chloe lifted the senshi's back a little and set her so she was resting on her lap. Reaching out the guardian cat closed her eyes and placed a palm on the girls forehead, almost as if seeking something. A warm feeling greeted her...warmth that was not the blood that both warriors had shed. "Give me your pen, Alcyone." Chloe's gaze returned to the negawoman. DARING her to approach any closer... it would take a lot out of her but damn if she wouldn't zap her again.

Alcyone couldn't remember if she ever saw Astraea transform into a human girl or not. She remembered the meetings in which the senshi congregated in empty warehouses to debate, and even then, she could make out the hazy forms of guardian cats -- not mystical people with stars on their foreheads. While she wasn't surprised to see the transformation, she was caught off-guard by how gently Chloe handled her. Her hands were warm and soft to the touch, and her voice was calming, despite how traumatic everything had been. She could feel a large amount of strain release as the woman's hand touched her forehead.
Perhaps not all cats were prone to vomiting up artifacts and belittling their soldiers.
"It's...right here..." As easily as summoning her senshi phone, she grasped at her henshin pen with bloody gloved hands. Alcyone opened her palm towards Chloe, allowing for her to take the object of which she asked for.

The henshin pen was cold to the touch as her hand closed around it. Not a good sign... it was a sign of something else, something darker... but Chloe knew a way to fix this. While the pen was cold on the outside, within it she could feel a power... strong and warm. Fighting to be released, all that Sailor Alcyone really needed was a nudge in the right direction.
Her hand touching the senshis forehead was removed slowly so she could hold the pen in her hands, palms up. "I can not heal your wounds, that is not in my power to do so, but i can..." The words were cut off as a blinding light took over the both of them. From the outside, Moonstone could probably see little flecks of what looked like lightning floating around the bright mass. The light was gone almost as soon as it arrived, a new power and new found energy building up inside Alcyone.

"Super sailor Alcyone!"

"...are you ******** SERIOUS" was Moonstone's initial frustrated reaction. "You get REWARDED for getting your a** kicked??!" She snarled... if she had failed so badly she was certain she wouldn't get a 'power up' from the matter, hell she'd probably be trying to coerce her family to buy tickets back to Canada RIGHT ******** you... ******** YOU!" She snarled and the world seemed lost behind an angry haze of red at the injustice of it all.

Suddenly she felt a warmth that enveloped the very essence of her, as though it were holding her heart with the fierceness and love of a protective mother. It was easy to give into its nurturing vibe and let all of her stress and anguish go with it. Each self-deprecating thought, every worry and doubt spilled out of her mind like an invisible pensive. Only difference is, she won't be coming back to remember them.
As the light became too bright to handle, Alcyone closed her eyes. She could feel a subtle change coursing through her veins, and when she felt that fire die down, only then, did she open her heavy lids and see exactly what had happened. The metamorphosis was less dramatic than when Astraea first coughed up her pen, and she felt that her body was able to withstand the transition despite all of the cuts and bruises. While her skin was still stained with dirt and blood, her new white uniform shone with the same kind of brightness as the light reflected from the moon, and while her bow was larger, it wasn't uncomfortably so.
Her hip chain clinked as she pushed herself up. She could still feel dull throbs of pain in the areas that Moonstone attacked, but for now, they were tolerable. A new energy pulsed from her heart, and she was not about to let that go to waste. Deep green eyes glared at Moonstone and her tantrum; although she hadn't ever uttered the words before, she knew exactly what to say.
"I've had enough of you. STRIKE OF TEMPEST'S THUNDER!"
The storm dropped on Moonstone almost immediately after Alcyone, now super senshi of storms, uttered the last word of her attack. It was the strongest of tempests that she had conjured to date, and it beat on the lieutenant without any mercy. She could feel her energy push at her aggressively, pour down from the clouds in sheets, and even more gathering just above the masked her. She concentrated on that cluster, willing it to come down with the rest of the rain.
That was when a bolt of lightning crackled from the clouds and struck Lieutenant Moonstone full-on.
