"We both have unique strengths, I'd never be so foolish as to forget yours." He said with a nod. "Besides...who could be more suited to working with my no doubt irritating note cards. I haven't yet turned them loose on my team...not YET."
He started jotting notes in long hand with that exceptionally water soluble ink.
"... I'm also plotting a training, teaching them to work in tight spaces. Would you like the idea? It involves fire escapes and chalk...and a very long stick."

"I dunno...I think you're better at this stuff. Being responsible for others and training them and patrolling...wait, I take that back. Patrolling would be awesome. I -like- that. I like being out on the street doing something. Hanging back and trying to manage a team worries me. I'm not good at that, I'm good at doing."
Despite the long sleeves he was shivering slightly..or shaking? Who knew.
"Fff, your notecards are fine, though I don't promise I won't get jealous if I see someone doing what I used to~"
Not that it would happen, Demy knew that. He was still grinning away happily, so it was obvious he knew that.
"Stick huh...does it involve -hitting- them with the stick? I'd...like training ideas. I don't want my team to not know what they're doing..like me, when I was new.."

"No it does not involve hitting them with the stick." He said fumbling with the pen slightly as he tried to multi task.
"... You should sleep I'll tell you about it tomorrow alright?" He said shaking his head. "Besides you just took a pain killer, the last thing we need is for you to crack your head open on the bed frame because you fell asleep while sitting up. Lay down... close your eyes, and dream of the day that will come when we make our bid for Sailor Lyra."

Damn, why did Zac have to be so convincing. Bed looked very nice. Very nice -indeed-.
Bed, however, was missing one key element of getting Demy to sleep after the events of Tartaros. Since his favored thing to snuggle was a bit busy at his desk...
"....can I borrow Mr. Tenebrous Zee?"
It's a shame Hillworth had to be such a s**t with the boys keeping stuff in their rooms. That giant bear would have made an excellent thing to snuggle with when he was feeling so crappy.
Something to snuggle, something awesome to dream about, and painkillers. Yeah, he'd be able to sleep tonight.

A small sigh...and then a nod.
"Yes...you may borrow Mister Tenebrous...and one thing to sleep on. Never do to your team what you would be unwilling to have them do to you. We may be taking lives, but remember, these people may well rise past us in the ranks. There is no promise we will ever make General but they very well MIGHT." he cuckolded as he slid the trunk from under his bed and pulled out the well loved bear.
"That's why I'm participating in the exercise, which I will tell you tomorrow.Sleep well Dem... and good work."

"I won't, however, stop at being just a captain. I'll work my a** off Zee, and I know you will too. Nothing can stop us man, we're going for the top, yeah?"
Demy grinned at the mention of good work. He had done a good job, and Zac was proud of him...even if Lyra kicked his a**. Bear in hand, the blonde crawled into his own bed. It was just a moment (and a whimper) later that he was buried contently under his blankets, Tenebrous and Oreo snuggled close.
"Good job...night Zee."
It had been meant to be a thank you for the mention of good work, and a long drawn out good-night to his boyfriend. But that's all he managed to mumble out before sleep claimed him for the night.

"Sure Dem...right to the top." He nodded and fluffed the blond's hair. He said down after Dem fell asleep and sighed...
"Right to the top..." he repeated and shook his head.
Would they?... He wanted it, he wanted it since he started as a Lieutenant... but at what point must he temper his desire with reality.
"Strait to the top..." He repeated and turned back to his notes. If he survived...yes, then they would see.
