She did her best to disinfect the wound, and to make sure there was nothing left that wasn't supposed to be in it, but she was more than a little worried about poking too much. If someone was dead you weren't quite so worried about 'irreparable damage' but Devi was, thankfully, not dead. It had to hurt but she finished as quickly as she could and stared at what remained for a second before putting bandages over it. "....I'm wondering if I should stitch that...or if it might make it worse..." She admitted. God... was there anyone in the senshi world who was a Doctor part time? How valuable would THAT be.

"I know, right?" Devi mumbled, the spindle still in her mouth. The worst of the pain had passed, and she spat out the spindle and let it fall to the floor. Hopefully that spindle won't be used for anything else, and hopefully she wouldn't have to put it back in her mouth after it hit the floor like that. She wasn't sure which would be more icky.
"You would think there would be someone, but I don't even know how many of us there are," she said. "Are there more of us, or are there more of them? I don't even know how to fight them still, its all so crazy! Its happening so fast, I hardly understand what is happening half the time. And then there was that masquerade ball disaster - where you there for that? That was craziness! And I'm always so worried my parents will find out or someone will catch me, and I'm worried about being on time for things and...I'm sorry, I just have so much to say and finally know someone else who can understand and who I can talk to!"

"it's alright!" Ume said and took at seat beside her on the bed and used long cotton wraps to pin the fresh bandages in place. "I was very lucky when I changed, I was with another Senshi when a cat she knew showed up and recognized that I was one." She paused considering the other questions. "I don't know how many of us there are, a lot but I don't know how many. I think less since that...dream thing that hit half the city but I can't say for sure. I can't say either how many of -them- there are but they are dangerous." She nodded quietly. She laughed softly at mention of the ball. "Yes I was there, I got slammed into a coffin with another senshi, though I think we was more interested in being squashed against what chest I have than the fact we were stuck in there. I can't do much about your parents...but, Maybe I can help you other ways, do you have anyone to train with? To Patrol with?"

Devi's face revealed guilt when Ume mentioned being in the coffin at the ball, but she tried to cover it up with a fake smile and move on.
"I really am just so confused as to what I am supposed to be doing sometimes," she said honestly. "I have no idea how to fight. My power is uh, well, I should just be honest with you. Please don't kill me but..." Devi sat down next to her friend as her wound was tended on. "...I trap people in coffins. It was my fault at the ball, but that's exactly what I mean when I say I don't know how to fight. I'm learning, I got some tips from a few other Senshi I've met, but I'm still lost. Maybe you can give me some more pointers?"

Ume laughed in good humor for someone who was trying to treat a rather serious injury of an old and good friend. "Well accidents DO happen, I'm just glad it wasn't a more serious effect that hit me. Actually I'm amazed with the number of people darting about like that that more people weren't hurt or trampled." She shook her head with a serious expression and double checked her handy work.
"I would love to help you, I'll do the very best I can..." She nodded. "It's safer when it's the two of us anyhow, not perfect...I'm afraid both my attacks do fairly superficial damage. I'd be lucky if I managed to cut something serious with my whip or strike anything vital with my needles.."

Devi laughed. She wasn't sure what Ume's ability was, but if it involved needles, it already sounded stronger or more offensive than her own. "Well, as I said, I only trap people in coffins, so you've got me beat in ability to dish out damage," she teased. "So what is your uhm, sphere, I think its called? Or your name?"
She paused for a moment, and tried to take a look at her wound, but it was hard to get a good look at it. "How is the wound looking?"

"I...think it looks alright, but if you have troubles I'm going to give a friend a call, we'll see if we can get you a 'backroom' appointment." She said and sat back. "How does it feel?" She added concerned and bit at her lower lip before answering. "MuCephei, Senshi of Blood." She answered and flashed a smile. "Maybe that's why I love reading about blood-spatter so much, at least if I hurt someone I can track them with some accuracy if they keep bleeding? Or...I could tell you about cast off if I get there behind the times..."
She sounded more regretful about the latter. It was so hard to try and keep on top of things in this city, Honestly at times it felt like a fight they would never win.

"Hopefully we can make it so that we're never late," she said regretfully. She remembered the corpse she found in the park on the day she met Sailor Nemesis, and how she was unable to do anything for it. They had to just leave it, and let the authorities take care of it.
She shook her head, that's what needed to be done. She killed the monster that killed the man, and at that point - with the man already dead - there was nothing else that could be done. Or could there?
"I'm Sailor Requiem, Senshi of Burial, if you ever see me about," she explained. "And the shoulder feels a little better now, actually. Stings, but I'll let you know if it worsens." She gently covered the wound back up with the shoulder of her shirt.

"I hope someday that we won't have to be on time either..." She said quietly meaning that the Negaverse would be defeated. What would they do then? Maybe it was a silly question, maybe it would never happen but she prayed for it. "Here... summon your cell I'll show you a trick!" She said flashing a grin.

Devi knew little about the Senshi cellphones, but summoned hers out and handed it to her friend. It was brown, much like her Senshi uniform. In fact, if she had a better fashion sense, she would realize that her phone made a perfect accessory to the outfit.

"Ok!..." She said and checked the blinds before she shifted into uniform just to be sure. "Take my picture!" She said with a grin. "You'll like what it does, tell me when you have it though so I can change back, its dangerous to be in my own home like this." She waited till it made the little shutter sound and returned to very familiar Ume rather than her uniform and sat beside Devi. "See? Now you can call me on it any time you need..."

"Awesome!" Devi said, happily. She was impressed with the magical tech, but more delighted that she was able to contact her friend in a secure way if she ever needed assistance, which she felt she was likely going to need. She was still new to it, after all. "These Negaverse people. I know they're the bad guys, but what do you know about them? I mean, any individual ones? I've only crossed one so far, one-on-one. The b***h who shot me. I saw those other ones, on that date I had with Damian a while back, but I wasn't a Senshi ******** Damian. She didn't like talking about him too much. But perhaps she shouldn't be so hard on him - it wasn't his fault bad things happened to her. Maybe she should call him? But that would be too awkward, even for Devi. "Ugh," she said, flopping back on the bed. "I hate boys."

"mm...I know if you run into a woman who's arm looks like she stuffed a tree-ent into her arm pit...run. Run as far as you can as fast as you can and call everyone you know." She said it very seriously and shook her head. She needed to face that fear again one day but she was not ready to... some people were scary in what they could shake off, and in what they were willing to do. "Rank seems to have something to do with how dangerous their weapon is... but don't take Lieutenants for granted. Call for back up though if you find a Captain or something else ok?"
She tilted her head and twisted to peer down at her friend. "BOY trouble again?" She said her brow furrowed.

"I don't know," she shrugged. Ow, okay, shrugging still seems like a bad idea for her shoulder. "I haven't talked to Damian since I dumped him, I just feel bad for blaming him for all that went wrong. Its not his fault those Negaverse attacked us, or that I went into that coma. As a Senshi, I can see this city is <******** up. I mean really, <******** up. Its not his fault. But its just so much easier to blame him. You know?"
She was still new to relationships - hell, she was new to everything lately, it seemed - so she never experienced the feeling of missing dating. "How's your love life cracking?"

Ume laughed and stared up at the celling, she pondered that... cat who had come and gone from her life... such a hole he left behind. "I ... have the same 'love' life as ever..." She said and flashed a grin. "Deeply mysterious... tall dark strangers with striking eyes, that just happen to exist only in dreams." She laughed and tapped her knuckle lightly on Devi's head. "If you feel bad... call him, I'm sure he'd understand. Maybe even if you don't date you could be friends."
